Dumb movie, it's just an outstretched episode, with your overused sword fighting and ends has the typical tropes of anime. I am 61 years old. I took two ladies from the 55+ retirement community I live in, to see this movie, since Metacritic gave it an 81.
I am a Baby Boomer. Back in my Fall Semester of 1978, I took LSD. Last night in the theater, I thought II am 61 years old. I took two ladies from the 55+ retirement community I live in, to see this movie, since Metacritic gave it an 81.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!!!

This review will cover not only the movie, but the whole series. Demon Slayer is an anime directed and written by Zach Aguilar, and animated by Ubisoft. And my, it is quite satanic in a way. It is not amazing, it is not good, it is not okay,This review will cover not only the movie, but the whole series. Demon Slayer is an anime directed and written by Zach Aguilar, and animated by Ubisoft. And my, it is quite satanic in a way. It is not amazing, it is not good, it is not okay, it is not bad.... it's literally beyond HORRIBLE. Aguilar has developed and directed games in the past like Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Genshin Impact. Those were both a disgrace to humanity in their own ways. Well, Demon Slayer is about.... a young boy who comes back from hunting (which is very disrespectful to the envoirment already, why is that boy so hurtful?) only to find his whole family murdered by a demon. You can tell Aguilar is a sadist already, that young boy could have had some amazing adventures with his family instead of making them get killed by a demon. Well, one of his relatives do survive, his little sister..... who becomes a demon. WHY IS AGUILAR SUCH A SATANIST???? And so, the big brother vows to destroy all demons to save his sister, which is very hurtful to the earth. I would also like to mention the main antagonist of this sadistic and satanic show very closely resembles Micheal Jackson, which is very terrible that Aguilar would mock a brilliant performer with lots of personal problems like this. Aguilar's version of Micheal Jackson also turns people, including the main character's sister, into demons from Hell, which is the main reason why this show is so satanic. The two other "main heroes" in this anime is a crazy loon who can't shut up, and a person who uses the head of a boar for a mask, which is also disrespectful to nature and animals. The movie Infinity Train's title is stolen DIRECTLY from the Cartoon Network show of the same name, and to make matters worse, it topped the box office on its second week. This really makes me want to give up on all faith, hope, and life. Demon Slayer in general is even targeted towards kids, with the cute cartoony art style and character designs, and even a Happy Meal in Japan. Please. Do not trust this terrible show. Zach Aguilar just wanted people to fall for a trap into satanism. Bring your kids far away from this, and make them watch something like a Nick Jr. show instead. Don't watch this horrendous show ever.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 22 and 23 episodes made me so dissapointed. Such a stupid and unrealistic exaggeration of "ego" of demon slayers who were participating tribunal. This anime is so one dimensional and filled with a lot of childish and dumb moments. I consider it my last anime title I will ever watch.… Expand

My mates kept telling me this IP got good but I watched all of season one and this film and I can't stand it. On paper it sounds like an anime I should love but it just didn't do it for me. I cant stand the characters + couldn't care less for them if I tried and I thought the show in general was boring as hell. I like that it does go quite dark for its story and I like the world + power balance that is set up. The animation is also beautiful, one of the best modern animated anime.unfortunately though it is just a disappointment which is why I gave it such a low score but if you disagree that is fine, this is just my personal review.… Expand
