A two is generous. I like Mr. Foxx in most roles, but this film is absurdly terrible. I know they were going for something over the top, but the dialog and and delivery from all those involved was bottom of the barrel.

It fells like 80s action/comedy that just not funny.
The action is good but the comedy/dialog is just bad.

A tad too silly and yet not nearly funny as it should be. There are a couple of moments where the action is quite impressive and inventive. Don't believe the trailers, this is a complete piece of garbage. Even Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg can't salvage this trainwreck.

What really killed this film, let ALL the air out of the balloon - Dave Franco. I grow so weary of these hacks that land gigs because they are related to someone who actually is talented or they know someone who knows someone who knows someone....... Jamie Foxx needed a quick payday and it's a travesty we don't have more of Snoop Dogg. Don't pay to watch this, as it would be more entertaining watching It's A Wonderful Life backwards.… Expand

I could be benevolent and disregard too many things, but does it make sense? Not really. Not when the movie is that bad. I understand and accept without any problem that for many people this goofy mix will be more than enough for theirI could be benevolent and disregard too many things, but does it make sense? Not really. Not when the movie is that bad. I understand and accept without any problem that for many people this goofy mix will be more than enough for their entertainment, but I found it neither funny, nor amusing. Vampires have become a bland and conventional plot device, even in films like this one that try to give them a twist with their formulas, but not only are they deplorable bad guys for this story, they're just not threatening at all. Jamie Foxx takes it seriously enough, but the rest of the cast doesn't do themselves any favors.
Karla Souza is a lousy villain, while Dave Franco, who's just a few years shy of being 40, is happy to be a buffoon who uses peeing his pants out of fear as a humorous device. Seriously? I honestly had a bad time. All jokes aside about Netflix's current situation, in all honesty the company is just a constant source of disappointment when it comes to movies.… Expand

Action is okay. Rest does leave a lot to be desired. Cannot recommend the movie.
