Let me state that I am a huge fan of Peter Dinklage, and any body of work in which he participates, is elevated. That said, the music is painfully sophomoric, unimaginative, shapeless, and without any musical merit, whatsoever. Interesting take on the well known French play. Dinklage is strong, as always, but the diverse casting and woke tropes simply take the viewer out of the time-period and remind them of today's silly political agendas - 3 stars

Even from the trailer, one can see how utterly forced this attempt is to even achieve being in the shadow of the best Cyrano to date, played by Gérard Depardieu.
