It was a movie. Point blank, it was a movie. Much cocaine, much big angry bear.

Without fear of sounding like a buzzkill, and even knowing that this is meant to be absurd and ridiculous in order to heighten the comedy over the violence, you also have to know how to recognize when the joke has gone ovearboard.

It is "Sharkanado" level film. Yes, some find it dumb funny, but it not make this film good. But it delivers enough. So bad it's almost good.

For what it’s about, they made it impressively boring. The Americans cast wasted. Very average film. Can’t say it was worth my time.

WARNING SPOILERS... Yes it is as stupid as it sounds but its still fun to watch and has a couple good jokes. However a lot of it feels a little pointless like giving backstory to a ton of people just to kill them off 10 minutes later. HoweverWARNING SPOILERS... However it is very funny even when people are being torn to shreds, the music in the back round is almost always a fun tune which makes it comedic. But again kind of pointless all in all. Would recommend watching but just remember that it is an incredibly stupid movie that doesn't even take itself seriously.… Expand

It was an OK popcorn flick. It isn't ground breaking, but a fun watch. Might want to wait for discount ticket day. But definitely worth a gander once it hits streaming or rental.

"Cocaine Bear" had everything! It had cocaine, it had a bear, it had gory deaths, it had laughs, it had poorly rendered CGI and it had action! Go see it if you like shlocky dark comedy films! While I don't think it entirely lives up to the implied hilarity brought about by its title, "Cocaine Bear" definitely finds director Elizabeth Banks at the helm of her strongest directorial effort to date, as well as its cast in primeWhile I don't think it entirely lives up to the implied hilarity brought about by its title, "Cocaine Bear" definitely finds director Elizabeth Banks at the helm of her strongest directorial effort to date, as well as its cast in prime fun-loving fashion. I think where "Cocaine Bear" wanders astray for me is in its efforts to sustain such a plurality of story. There's at least four different narrative tracts in play here and I really think all the juggling makes for diminished returns in each and every emotional payoff that occurs throughout. Perhaps if maybe one of these storylines was cut, we'd be able to spend more time with the other three, thus making the eventual resolutions more impactful? In any event, the maulings and gore are guiltily sufficient entertainment enough. Also, it's great to see Ray Liotta again — if, even for one of the last times.… Expand

Cocaine Bear probably doesn't go as full cocaine bear as it should. A few too many long sequences without the bear. The ambulance scene is great and the child acting was really good. Idk what I was expecting. It started off pretty funny then got more average as the film went on. Too slow, not enough of what everyone here came to see, a cocaine bear!
