So the acting was the only thing I loved about this movie. Kudos to Holland. The writing on the other hand was atrocious and failed to adapt its source material, leaving behind underdeveloped characters and scenes that fell flat.

This movie is complete depressing trash. There is literally no point to the movie. No climax no resolve, no ending. Just pure CV filler garbage.

The book was miles better. Sorry Russo, but this movie didn't really adapt the best parts of the book. Respect to the actors who nailed their performances.

This film is the Russos trying to prove that they can get into "artsy" mode. Style over substance makes 'Cherry' a mediocre effort. And what about that cast? The movie is really bad, it just doesn't work, the editing, the pacing, too many ideas that didn't gel to create a solid plot. An absolute waste of Tom Holland's time, and your time.
