I will always support artists who want to expand their skills, but unfortunately Mr. James feels miscast here. Not once did I believe he was playing this character and I didn't find him intimidating as I couldn't take him seriously. Throughout the movie I only saw Paul Blart if he turned racist, which I guess made it somewhat enjoyable. However, I think it's the writing that's at fault here and not Kevin James, as the writing gave him nothing to work with and the character itself was so underdeveloped. Expand

I didn't know Rambo had a teenage daughter who trained with the Navy SEALs and acted as a stunt double for Sly.

It reminded me a lot of "orphan" from 2009. Lulu Wilson does the same thing as Isabelle Fuhrman a couple of years ago. Still, Becky has the same problem as the one mentioned above: the script.

Becky is a cross between 'Home Alone' and 'Last House on the Left' as a precocious tween takes on a group of neo-nazi home invaders. Great cast and okay storyline that pretty much goes where it goes.

Kevin James is outstanding as a villain. Please, take him play a mass-murderer. A Mafia boss. Something. Mall Cop and alike seem to be a waste. Rest of the movie unremarkable.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie is completely garbage, in my opinion. Just because Kevin James is in it does not make it good.

I have a lot to say about this movie, but I'll start with the plot, which has quite a few holes in it. Here are a few:
- The start shows a bunch of criminals trying to escape from a prison van. If they're escaping prison, why would they decide to target a random house like they did?
- Why do they spontaneously decide that children deserve to be spared, despite all the other horrendous acts they commit?
- Why are 4 huge men not able to kill a 13 year old girl when their lives depend on it?

This movie also relies on gore far too much, like a lot of other garbage horror movies. An example, they stole a car by stealing some police clothing and acting like police. Having convinced the driver to get out, Dominick (Kevin James) delivers a super lame line about how if he was to shoot the driver, his wife would hear it, before punching him in the face and beating him to death. Despite the punch coming from the right side, blood miraculously flies left to land on the window in front of the camera.

This movie is full of plot holes, gore, and bad characters. Everybody is at least fairly stereotypical and the main character is extremely dull and annoying (whoa, a teenage girl that can kill people!!1!1"). In the same vein, some pretty terrible lines are also delivered, (aside from the one I mentioned earlier) like when Dominick (Kevin James again) calls a Glock a "lie detector".

If you're only watching this movie because it has some pretty big names in it, you're in for a bad time. From what I've heard, the directors of this movie also made another garbage shockfest film where young children become monsters. TL;DR - If you're only looking at this movie because someone you like is in it, turn back. I only wish I had.

It´s Hollywood and not the Discovery Channel. True : Its quite hard, when you consider a 14 year old has to go through all this actually traumatizing things. But the story is set from the very start, there is no doubt about the willingness of the audience to join this rollercoaster of violence a.s.a.p. and its absolutetly stunning how the crew and the actors find their way through this fascinating plot-jungle. Lulu Wilson is already a huge star and hopefully lasting for some decades to come, this is well done executed Die Hard - Action 2020 - at it´s very best. In a long time I haven`t seen such a brilliant executed movie, it reminded me more on Léon and the amazing performance of Natalie Portman. Action fan, this is your sweaty hands movie of 2020. By the way : Lulu Wilson being so young (15) still played already in movies I didn´t even know that she took part in and it is the crème de la crème of horror and suspense. Expand

I liked it. Even though the plot got a bit predictable towards end plus some of it felt so random (about that key they so much needed there). Overall was something different than usual and enjoyable watch while at the same time very suspense at times

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Another in what is now a seemingly endless stream of "girls rule, boys/men/white skinhead men drool" as #MeToo exacts its revenge for a century of man misbehavior, both in the cinema and outside of it. The trouble is, this C-grade revenge flick is a pale imitation of much better films with the same idea, to wit "Kick-Ass" (or for that matter Kick-Ass 2 even), or "Hanna." If you need to see young teen girls kicking grown men's asses, those should be your go-to's. Lulu Wilson, who seems to have some talent, is saddled with a one-note character who is just angry all the time in this film. Kevin James' stunt casting is okay physically, but his light voice removes alot of the menace. Giant wrestler Robert Maillotte is an interesting physical presence, but everyone else in the film is bland as all get-out. The African American child actor never even moves off the couch or utters a word in the entire film. He may as well not even be there. So while Hollywood may be fixing its girl problem, it has a ways to go it would seem toward fixing its race problem. Expand

A bet on recycling that loses tension and entertainment much sooner than I think it expected.

Lulu Wilson and Kevin James are the most relevant elements of this film, however, the two of them don't work in the same way, and this is precisely due to the plot itself.

On one hand, Smith's dramatic turn is surprising, but the directors doesn't really give him much to do and are unable to get anything more relevant out of his role.
Lulu Wilson on the other hand plays on a cliché of a violent teenager and she really doesn't do anything more interesting.
And that's why Becky never starts to carbure and what's left is just what you read in the synopsis.

If there's one thing to emphasize about Becky, it's that perhaps Smith can achieve something more interesting in the dramatic field later on, because other than that you'll forget everything else very soon.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 2020 thriller movie. From the very first scene, the movie tells how the whole movie will be and how it will end. I think it would have been more impressive without the first scene.

Father and daughter are going to their house in the forest. Meanwhile, 4 notorious and ruthless thugs escape from the prison vehicle and come to their house. What the bandits want is in their houses. But only the little girl knows that.

Although there are many illogical scenes, the movie is watched with interest. But something is missing. I think this is innocence. For this reason, the audience cannot be with Becky completely.

Why is the little girl so angry with her father?

What is the story of the key that is so sought after throughout the movie?

Why do men leave the key in a house for others to find?

There is no sex or nudity in the movie.
