fun movie! perfect for a date or alone. kids will probably miss a lot of the themes but mine still had a good time, which is hard to find these days.

So, I went to the cinema with a few friends and we watched this Barbie movie. I did not know anything particular about it and didn't see any trailer before. So I was really suprised when I watched this movie. And I was nearyl laughing the whole time! Well-acted and entertaining take on the Barbie franchise. Unfortunately the message and story is messy and some of the messaging can feel hamfisted, only to get lost throughout the incongruent plot.

The best part of the film is Ken, specifically Ryan Gosling.

It is not a Barbie Movie

It looks like Barbie. Walks like Barbie. Talks like Barbie. But, sadly it is not a Barbie movie... I will not be recommending this movie to anyone. This film focused more on the message it was trying to make than what the film was suppose to be about. An iconic,It is not a Barbie Movie

This film focused more on the message it was trying to make than what the film was suppose to be about. An iconic, little girls toy and her imagination. As a genuine Barbie fan, I felt this film made a mockery out of me. It took out all the magic of why Barbie can do anything, be anyone while still loving pink and sparkles and dressing up. Instead she was consumed with dread, and was given a "reality check."

Legally Blonde is more of a Barbie movie than this one.… Expand

I have to admit, I haven't seen the film and I won't watch it either. The negative reviews say it all. Once again people are falling for Wokewood's marketing propaganda machine. Greatly acclaimed woke work from a toxic and man-hating feminist Greta Gerwig with an Australian (Australia,I have to admit, I haven't seen the film and I won't watch it either. Yummy) of a whiny and stupid wimp, what more can MAN say. Misandry, toxic feminism, man-hating WOKE garbage at its best! Highly recommended for whiny men without a backbone with fear of women and submissiveness syndrome. Of course not forgetting the many many man-hating toxic feminists, THIS is your film!
