Bad Samaritan is an entertaining watch. I can't deny that. I wasn't bored by it and you could even say that I enjoyed myself for the most part while watching it. It has an interesting premise, and I was impressed by the antagonist. However,Bad Samaritan is an entertaining watch. I can't deny that. I wasn't bored by it and you could even say that I enjoyed myself for the most part while watching it. It has an interesting premise, and I was impressed by the antagonist. However, it's hard for me to ignore how incredibly stupid most of the characters in this film are. My goodness, I guess we are just meant to assume that most of the people that found themselves in this story are not the smartest folks around. Even when I try to ignore that issue, I still have a few problems with how the story unfolded in the third act. The dialogue is also quite painful at times. Bad Samaritan reminded me of Disturbia in a sense, except it's not as good. Like I said, I didn't hate this film, and it was entertaining enough to make me feel like I didn't waste $5 on a ticket, but I don't think I'll ever have the sudden urge to watch this one again.… Expand

Pretty believable deranged psycho, reasonably well played burglar. Sort of interesting, sometimes the suspense is really there, though it's all hardly surprising or innovative. Thrilling story, good casting and a somewhat predictable but satisfying end. I'd have wished for more though.

David Tennant is fantastic, but the plot armor of characters is too strong to be believable.
