Buena para los niños, pero siento que a los adultos, incluso los que la vieron de jóvenes, no la vean con los mismos ojos hoy en día.

Alice in Wonderlandis a story of Alice who is in the world of Wonderland. First she comes across the white rabbit and falling in the rabbit hole, comes across a talking doorknob, crying in tears, comes across the two twins, you know all the rest. There're many characters that really are wacko. My favourite character has got to be The Walrus and the Carpenter because they have great chemistry. I know the rest of the characters are funny like everyone's favourite The Mad Hatter and the March Hare or like The Queen of Hearts even for the Cheshire Cat he sounds like Winnie the Pooh. This movie is a lot of fun for people who really enjoyed it and read the books. There are loads of funny in this Disney classic, it is unpredictable, unforgettable, classy and the timing is fast. My friend Scott Hammond loves it as well and we were non stop repeating the scenes that really made us laugh. The White Rabbit who is saying ''I'm Late! I'm Late! I'm Late!'' he even said hello, goodbye and goodbye, hello at wrong way round. I guess those characters are crazy. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Alice In Wonderland is my 2nd favorite animated movie, my 2nd favorite Disney movie, and one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. The movie was beautifully and phenomenally animated and I loved how colorful, whimsical, and unique the movie was. I loved all of the animated animals and creatures they were all cute and cool especially the Cheshire Cat, all of the birds that looked like different tools and objects, all of the different singing and talking flowers, the Mome Raths, the Caterpillar, and the Bread-and-Butterflies. Kathryn Beaumont, Sterling Holloway, Ed Wynn, Verna Felton, J. Pat O'Malley, and Bill Thompson gave funny and terrific voice over performances. The soundtrack was excellent and I especially loved the songs In a World of My Own and The Unbirthday Song. The soundtrack is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time and one of my favorite albums of all time. The writing and story were fantastic. The Cheshire Cat is my favorite Disney character of all time. Alice In Wonderland will forever be a A+ movie for me. Expand

Saying that all old Disney movies are classics is like saying that all cars are classics just because they are old... anyway, whether it's a classic or not, this Disney movie deserves our attention: it entertains quite well and gives childrenSaying that all old Disney movies are classics is like saying that all cars are classics just because they are old... anyway, whether it's a classic or not, this Disney movie deserves our attention: it entertains quite well and gives children an innocent and funny story.

I will not dwell on the analysis of the story: anyone who knows the work of Lewis Carroll (the film focuses on "Alice in Wonderland" but will get some elements from "Through the Looking Glass") will surely identify the story and its characters, some of them as immortal as the Mad Hatter, the March Hare or the Cheshire Cat. They are iconic and recognizable even by those who have never read Carroll's books and stories.

The film is beautifully animated, with vivid and elegant colors, and a limpid, crisp and very well executed look, for which contributed the skillful hands of hundreds of designers from Walt Disney's studio. The film was made at a time when the studio did its best graphic work and the quality is visible. The songs are another important part of the movie, and there are several important and noteworthy songs here. Personally, I really like listening to "A World of My Own" or the march "Painting the Roses Red". The film counts with the impeccable collaboration of many voice actors, of which I want to highlight Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, Sterling Holloway and Verna Felton.

Despite everything, I think the film was pretty much forgotten for a long time, and it didn't have the success that it could have had: in fact, the crazy and illogical story that it presents can both attract or repel the audience... it's not a story for everyone to enjoy, as palatable and cute as "Cinderella" or "Peter Pan", films that are much easier to sell. Paradoxically, the recent appearance of live action films centered on Alice's tale may, in a way, have revived the interest of more recent audiences in Carroll's work and, consequently, in this animated film.

The movie isn't as good as the book, cause more part of the time it can't translate all the magic and imagination the book can provide, but it's possible to have part of this illogical charm the book brings you. The writing is amazingly full of funny characters always speaking metaphorically and social messages.
Certainly, at some point, the movie and book will bring to the audience all shadows and fears that this crazy new world has. The character Alice will see and have the fear and worrisome issues that always come with a sarcastic tone.
