"400 Days" is to "10 Cloverfield Lane" as "Deep Star 6" was to "Abyss." The writers heard the basic idea and said, "Yeah, we can do that easy." No, you really can't. Like 10 CFL, it starts with the craziness of isolation, and the audience can"400 Days" is to "10 Cloverfield Lane" as "Deep Star 6" was to "Abyss." The writers heard the basic idea and said, "Yeah, we can do that easy." No, you really can't. Like 10 CFL, it starts with the craziness of isolation, and the audience can feel the storm building, but when it breaks, it comes in a way that could have been interesting, but in the end devolves into cliche post-apocalyptic stupid. The movie ends in a way that answers a question, it's just not the question anyone cares about. That burning question (what the heck happened) is left completely unanswered, unless we're supposed to buy an answer given by a crazy man that makes no sense. I love weird stories, but you still have to make sense in the end. That's where this movie fails.… Expand
