I love pretty much enjoy anything Jonah Hill is in. Even early highlights from his career like his short appearance in 40 Year Old Virgin or his amazing 13 hours of **** sucking in Grandma's Boy to his Oscar nominated roles in Moneyball and Wolf of Wall Street are impressive. Besides a small handful of jokes that actually work, Hill not funny in 22 Jump Street, nor is Tanning Chatum. What a shame, I was hopeful it would be good. It's really bad. Skip this, for real! I think I've seen the same movie at least 15 times with other actors and different locations but same movie that was not funny! If you want to see a good movie that I cannot believe has not made any money but DAMN GOOD and that would be Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Now that was a good movie. Original, funny, and awesome! Expand

much crappier version of the first one. needed to be edited down. many jokes repeated way too often. Really a shame, they got great chemistry. not really sure how this one is rated higher on MC than the first.

Its got its male gay stuff, male oral sex, rambling plot, "generic" Black stereo types, "f" bombs going off like you are in Afganistan, which would be funnier by the way, brain numbing stupidity, and an annoying sense of "why did I waste my money on this film."

The sex scene has the girl in her panties. Supposedly the main character was having sex "all night with her" and at the end no sweat or panties off. Ahmmm.

If you are 19 years old, drunk, and have an IQ of Radio, then you will like it, though my girlfriend liked it and she is a genius. That puzzles me. I recommend being high or drunk to watch this, then its funny.

I went in with an open mind to this sequel...I was wrong about this movie. It had very few funny moments, but other than those few "moments" is just another movie for the brainless zombies of the max to watch.

I've noticed that most people that enjoyed the film were usually 12-17 year old's. It's a movie based towards people that don't know what real comedy is.

Ice Cube carried what little this sorry movie had to offer and his part was far too little. Whatever team wrote this script should be fired. The director should be embarrassed to death having his name attached. Save your money Expand

So I started watching it without preoccupations. But, after about twenty seconds, I realised it wasn't what I thought it would be.

This film is just the sum of everything I hate and the only thing it lacked for it to be a 0 was sci-fi thrown in.
I will not comment on the performances of these two actors, who actually seemed to have taken a good turn (Tatum in Side Effects and Hill in The Wolf of Wall Street), but then retreated to their usual roles.
One thing I will say, though, about the comedy. Now, I don't understand how this kind of moronic and brainless gags can actually make somebody laugh. A movie for your eyes only. Keep your brain at home, you won't need it at all - and be sure you have enough pop corn to pass the time while you're forced to hear decades-old lines.

And the critics? Any critic who voted this more than 50 is a sell-out, obviously. I wonder how much of the budget was dedicated to that.

Ugh. Probably the most disappointing movie of 2014. I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie. All of my friends said this was great or even better than the first. I was pumped. And I was let down.

The movie isn't good because the chemistry of the Hill and Tatum seemed to worse from movie to movie. In this movie, they seem awkward and with the script that they were given, I could see why. Barring a few chuckles here and there, the movie is not that funny. The story is a rehash of the original and they were trying to go for the meta "do better than the first time" type jokes and they weren't done very well. I say watch the first one instead and forget this even existed.

I only started laughing about 45 minutes in the movie, and afterwards, my laughter died down to a couple of chuckles. I think they took the audience for granted. On the plus side, I still have a lot of respect for the first movie, but I would skip this one, or at least catch it on video. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand
