Official Xbox MagazineDefinitely worth trying, and legitimately funny in places. [Dec 2003, p.154]
-
Just doesnt bring anything new to the platform table.
-
Frontier has done an excellent job of creating a platformer that's authentic and true to the world of Wallace and Gromit, but it's done a rather shoddy job at creating a good platformer.
-
Fans of the series should definitely give it a shot because the game does do the Wallace & Gromit name justice in every respect. With a little tweaking of the camera and level design Project Zoo could have had a bit more flash, but it still ends up being pretty fun overall.
-
A game that could prove entertaining for fans of Nick Park's peculiar pair, but, as a 3D platformer, it's simply not that impressive. When you add the game's relatively short length (of around six hours) to the overall lack of polish, Project Zoo isn't a terribly attractive purchase, but it can make a decent rental.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyThe worst problem is that certain jumps are damn nigh impossible - it's not even a question of skill. [Nov 2003, p.176]
-
GameNowA mixed bag, providing plenty of fun action, along with some aggravation. [Nov 2003, p.60]
