It's like Disney's fantastic ride - sure, you can sometimes see the seams and bolts showing, but what a ride it is anyways. [Dec 2003, p.128]
  2. A platformer that delivers the goods.
  3. It's imaginative, it controls well, and the puzzles are solid and challenging without being repetitive. It's simply that a basic weakness in the engine makes The Haunted Mansion a far more frustrating experience than it really needs to be.

Has great production values, is "spiritually" faithful to the look and feel of the famed Disney attraction, and is a very good action/puzzler to boot.
  5. A surprisingly fun little game that challenges you with some cool puzzles and sends you through a nicely lit, often-interesting mansion. Despite some problems with control and a little bit of an awkward camera, I was quite entertained most of the time.
  6. Manages to accomplish more then you would expect with such a simple gameplay structure and limited environment. It doesn’t break any new ground but fans of adventure games will find enough motivation to capture all 999 ghosts.

This game appears to be suited for the younger audience but not too young as some of the evil characters are freaky with their weird screams and looks they may scare the little ones.
  8. From the start you can tell the puzzles are going to be good but even that will start to wear thin when you have to battle the same monsters time and time again whilst moving from room to room.
  9. If you're looking for a fun adventure in the same vein as "Luigi's Mansion," The Haunted Mansion should be perfect for you. It proves to be good fun without even being too rough or challenging.

You go around and suck ghosts out of their hiding spots in a cartoony mansion. The scares are the fun kind you might expect in something like Scooby Doo. While the game's surprisingly polished for an obscure title, the gameplay is pretty repetitive. Full Review »

This game is very solid...a lot more so than I would have expected. I rented it the other day but it has quickly moved to my "must buy" list!
