AceGamezWith a fast and frantic single player with all the trimmings, plus the voice and image of Arnie, I can't complain one bit.
-
Each character is strikingly similar in appearance to the movie actors.
-
Focuses on what it wants to be, and it does it very well. Terminator fans have a reason to smile, and this game is money well spent for them.
-
Official Xbox MagazineSurpisingly but appealingly worth your time and money. [Nov 2004, p.84]
-
Game InformerNot only is it the best Arnold or Terminator-themed game ever (which isn't saying all that much), but it's also one of the best licensed games around. [Oct 2004, p.127]
-
While the hand-to-hand stuff won't win any awards, the deep selection of vehicles (from pickup trucks to high-tech battle tanks) and the frenetic pace of the game more than make up for it.
-
Quite enjoyable although nothing particularly innovative.
-
It's pretty much what you'd expect from a trip to see this kind of fare at your local Odeon – lots of noise, lots of effects, dialogue kept to a minimum – it's a real rollercoaster of a ride (damn, that's a cliché if ever I wrote one.)
-
Besides a few ideas that are executed poorly, the gameplay is varied, making it a fun experience. But its biggest problem is amount of gameplay, which is limited.
