With my perfessional opinion, I would have to say that this game is the best! The babes are very fine too!

A severely underrated gem. I wanted badly to just play this and get rid of it but the more I play it the more I realize this game cannot depart my game library even though it is nearly three gaming generations old. The AI, yes, absolutely embarrassing and laughable but they do their job well with constant excitement throughout the game. There are a few issues with control but they aren'tA severely underrated gem. I wanted badly to just play this and get rid of it but the more I play it the more I realize this game cannot depart my game library even though it is nearly three gaming generations old. The AI, yes, absolutely embarrassing and laughable but they do their job well with constant excitement throughout the game. There are a few issues with control but they aren't broken, just maybe a little bit unpolished. And I did run into a few minor bugs.....so how on earth am I giving this an 8/10, a must own or play rating? For me you get a lot of value in this title especially at today's price. The game is just plain fun and exciting throughout and I disagree that this game strayed too far from the spyhunter theme. The game starts off easy and slow but by about chapter four the game really picks up. Gameplay is a mix of car missions and third person shooter. I think both types of gameplay really blend the spyhunter theme well. About midgame you can unlock an arcade version of the game. I think this arcade version is better than the original spyhunter arcade game which was a huge hit so it's really hard for me to buy into the complaints this game received. This title also contains some bonus gameplay and you can start playing it as you unlock it. And you can unlock more advanced weapons in the game for further longevity. If you are into retro gaming I would highly recommend you check this game out. I have to think at the time it was released it was overlooked with the xbox 360 and ps3 just about to be launched. It doesn't have the best start but once you get to chapter four I think you will be fine from then on and like the game. As I mentioned the game has terrible AI but they are cheesy and enjoyable because of it. The action is decent throughout and I like the immersion. Some things this game did like having your weapon fall out of your hands if you get hit by melee or bomb make sense and in this sense I feel this immersion exceeds many current generation games. I feel the game is a decent depiction of the era in which it was made. All the cliches and feel are there and to be honest the execution isn't really bad, not to the point it got the scores it did. I'm not gonna lie, the game has issues but when you sum up everything I find this game to be a keeper none the less. Unlocking the arcade game alone is worth the games current price. Expand

Other terrible game, I can do a list of the problems on Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run: 1. The Gameplay, 2. The Story, 3. The Camera, 4. The Missions, 5. The Character. And I can continue, but this game is not good is terrible, and what is the reason for The Rock appear in the title?.

  1. The end result is a ramshackle affair that will please neither hardcore Spy Hunters nor Joe "GTA."
  2. Unfortunately the execution just wasn't quite there.

If you are in the mood for some solid third-person action, great hand-to-hand combat, and some kickass driving sequences then this game is certainly worth a second look. Oh and it doesn't hurt if you are a big fan of Mr. Johnson.
