    It has the great gameplay from the original, a new story more, and still looks great. But yanking out the big online feature that made me jump for joy, I can't give the game the same score.

    I had a lot of fun with it, especially because I’m such a huge Rocky fan. Had this game been a little crisper visually and lit a little differently, and some serious time been spent on sound, it would have fetched a far better rating.

    Even without any appreciation of boxing, you can enjoy hours of sweat-laden, bloody-pulped frenzy and get sucked in and be amazed. Truly a wonderful creation, Rocky Legends is at the forefront of its genre.

    It’s quite “arcadey” but it also isn’t a simple button masher. It does rely on timing and strategy but its main sore point is that remembering a few killer combos is all it can take to beat the A.I over and over.

    This game has a lot more sim qualities than credited for... boxing fans will be surprised at the depth involved in the actual fighting, if This game has a lot more sim qualities than credited for... boxing fans will be surprised at the depth involved in the actual fighting, if you're playing against a human opponent... unlike the fight night series, you can effectively sidestep your opponent's attacks...you don't have the same fluid control over bobbing and weaving and leaning, but the blocking makes a lot more sense as the block button blocks both head and body blows, without having to ridiculously switch from a high and low guard, which resulted in a three-stooges-like sequences in fight night round 2, where you would fake a blow to the body, and once your opponent drops his guard to protect his body, you go for a head shot.. does that ever happen in real boxing?… Full Review »

Any boxing game with the rocky name to it you would expect to be half decent. Wrong. Maybe my opinion on this is a little harsh, after playing fight night 2004 you can hardly blame me. This game falls short on every aspect, and was it just me, did rocky seem to be graphically the worse looking character in the game ? Put it back on the shelf you can pick up fightnight 2004 for less which is the best boxing game available.… Full Review »
