I hesitate to call it a nice try, because in some ways it didn't even really do that.

Bad voice decisions and an inexplicable step back in control tightness make Rayman 3 a disappointment, especially given the series’ usually extraordinary standards.

These bright spots don't really offset the repetitive, frustrating, and sometimes just plain dull parts. [Apr 2003, p.84]

There's a certain amount of wit and flair evident throughout Hoodlum Havoc's cut-scenes, and there are certainly some very slick production values. The problem is that, in terms of raw enjoyment, the game is somehow underwhelming. [May 2003, p.104]

Snide voice acting turns cutesy bit players Globox and Murfy into electronic annoyances, and Hoodlum Havoc revels in its lame humor. [Apr 2003, p.68]

Absolutely great game. Great bosses, minigames and music. The graphics aren't amazing obviously but the art direction is great. Really reallyAbsolutely great game. Rayman 2 would have been hard to top, but this game quite possibly does just that. It looks great and has fantastic gameplay and controls. IRayman 2 would have been hard to top, but this game quite possibly does just that. It looks great and has fantastic gameplay and controls. I love the mechanics and aesthetic a lot too. Good level design and bosses are evident throughout. I also love the soundtrack to bits. Amazing game and I would recommend it to any platformer fan. Full Review »

Rayman 3 cured my depression. Globox's delicate body movements have given me ASMR ever since I was a little kid. In my opinion Globox wasRayman 3 cured my depression. Globox's delicate body movements have given me ASMR ever since I was a little kid. In my opinion Globox was portrayed as someone who helps Rayman to find himself again after the tragic events which led him to losing his hands, but I think there's more to it. Globox is an amazing, strong and independent frog. I don't think he would want to waste a second in Rayman, since he clearly does not appreciate Globox's globoxness. The essence of Globox's soul has always been tirppas, which was completely forgotten in the process of making this game. Despite the complete failure of capturing Globox's true being, this is one of the best games in the world. Globox has always been slept on, but that has to come to an end. I will personally make sure that Globox gets all the love and appreciation that he truly deserves.

~ Globox means family. Family means no tirppa gets left behind. ~
