JesseS.Nov 7, 2002The best futuristic racer yet. Definitely underated.....

Deathstalker79Sep 23, 2002It's Wipeout for the Xbox. Although the visual is nice it's seems a bit generic, and played out.

JoeM.Nov 9, 2002The replays are on par with pole position. The gameplay is on the same control level as the old game also. You think maybe some actual physics could've been involved. Its fun if like sleds with rockets and a bad ruuder.

[Anonymous]Nov 29, 2002Does what it sets out to and very seldom surprises. A rental at best.

Jan 18, 2014A game that should stand out in it's genre, it incorporates the weapon system and shields very well, along with a nice feeling of comfort for any certain racer. With great visuals and even greater gameplay, this game is a definite must-buy.

Mar 28, 2014One of the few good alternatives to Wipeout.
This game amazed me from the start, great controls, great sense of speed, addictive play.
As it was stated before underrated. -
May 4, 2017A hidden gem for sure. This game never lived up to its hype, but it's actually really fun. Great graphics, simple gameplay and backwards compatibility make it playable today. Only 8 racetracks does make it a bit monotonous though, as it takes a while to open up the last one.

Xbox Nation MagazineRedshift's well-honed action and lofty technical ambition are let down by a repetitive and dated no-progress-for-second-place structure, overly familiar mechanics, and conspicuous lack of style. [Winter 2002, p.95]
-
Official Xbox MagazineWith incredible track designs, a spot-on control system and a soundtrack by Junkie XL, Quantum Redshift leaves little to be desired. It may not be perfection, but it's pretty darn close. [Dec 2002, p.125]

Explosions, good lighting and cool particle effects are everywhere in Quantum Redshift. But the graphical effect that stands out the most is the subtlest of them all: water.
