TomM.Apr 2, 2005This game is just so... um... EA. And no, that's not a compliment. Mediocrity, thy name is EA. Even with the forced price drop due to 2K5's price point, this is still not worth the money.

MatC.Feb 24, 2005No live, no love. +5 for a decent game, -5 for ignoring what would be the coolest game ever to play online. Get a clue, EA; you had a whole year to do just this. No soup for you!

EddieFeb 28, 2005In typical EA fashion, place this disk in last years box and you have the same looking game..the only difference is a few tweaks here and there in owner mode.---how scary this is knowing EA will have the nfl for the next 7 yrs....Remember competition spurs creativity---what a shame.

JimA.Mar 11, 2005A pretty solid game, but honestly the timing only batting takes away from the realism. I wanted to like this game, but it's just not that much fun to play.

I must say that I am very impressed with how smooth the game runs, and how smooth the gameplay is.

The added mini games are used to spice up pitching and batting drills, making them as addictive as Bejeweled and Mine Sweep. Plus, the greatness of Xbox Live for online leagues, EA Sports Ticker and constant roster updates just makes things even sweeter for Xbox players.

With great modes, gorgeous graphics and near perfect controls this one will no doubt be the franchise we turn to when we want a baseball game true to the sport itself.
