It's not WWE and it's not NWA but it's the people who made those franchises possible. Though I wish Ric Flair was in here so we could have some of the bloody cage matches of yore.
-
We've got old-school wrestlers with no hint of old-school style.
-
Game InformerOn the gameplay end, it's still a little shallow in the moves department, but it's tighter on the whole. [Feb 2003, p.105]
-
Not a vast improvement, Legends of Wrestling II just doesnt cut it as a classic wrestling title fans can really get into.
-
Official Xbox MagazineThe sorest spot is the game's lack of polish or presentation - two things that pro-wrestling is all about. [Mar 2003, p.81]
-
Individual matches are easy to win and the career mode quickly becomes an exercise in repetition.
-
Legends of Wrestling II's different modes, which feature a relatively unique approach are undermined by the substandard gameplay.
-
The gameplay system is confusing, the graphics are mediocre, and the sound is average.
-
The problem is that for a sequel, it does nothing to enhance the gameplay found in its predecessor, sans a few new moves and match types.
-
The graphics and sound certainly don't do the Xbox justice, the moves are intermittently awkward and unresponsive and youíd have to question the longevity of the game despite the somewhat original Career mode.
-
While the options are bigger this year, I thought last years game felt more complete in overall game play.

MaccDaddyFeb 26, 2003I agree with the below comment. This game is OK, but after a couple of months its gets boring. Finishers are hard to do, with some wrestlers.
