Hey, C'mon you guys. You're just happy that there's a stealth type game out for XBOX, hence your rating it a 10. Look at the PS2 reviews, this game lies within 6-8, if it weren't for the controls (PC style and Max Payne style without the slowmo) that brings it down to 6. Great concept, acceptable graphics (more Innocent people are lacking on the streets) and the sound Hey, C'mon you guys. Don't get inflationary when you review games, you might mislead other games, and Honestly 10???? Get real, this is not a masterpiece and 10 = Masterpiece. Expand

Enjoyable but not a classic. This is a compelling game but falls down in several areas that prevent it from getting a higher score in my opinion. Firstly the story is lamentable and appears almost an afterthought in the game's development. Secondly there are nowhere near enough innocent bystanders (in some cases there are none). This is a compelling game but falls down in several areas that prevent it from getting a higher score in my opinion. Firstly the story is lamentable and appears almost an afterthought in the game's development. Secondly there are nowhere near enough innocent bystanders (in some cases there are none). There is a selection of weapons that can be amassed but they are not necessary for the missions and seem to be (in the main part) useless if a player is trying to achieve the highest ranking (silent assassin). Thirdly AI of some of the characters is decent in the most part but occasionally a little dodgy and frustrating. Fourthly the level design of some of the levels, most notably the Japan missions, is overly large and frustrating. On the plus side, there are some very satisfying moments in the game. Getting strangulation kills with the fibre wire and long range sniper kills are both pretty satisfying. Overall this game is frustrating but just about worth having... perhaps not for the full price though... Expand

With only a couple of exceptions, every assignment can be tackled in a dozen different ways. [Winter 2002, p.100]
  2. A variety of paths for each mission promises near infinite replayability.
  3. This game has it all: a solid story, good graphics, sound, level designs, and the ability to choose different paths to complete your mission.
