    When they say "combat evolved" they mean it.
    One of the most intense and immersive shooters I have ever played. Certainly the best in the series in terms of exploration, gunplay, story and art form. Also might I add, Multiplayer...amazing
    The games pure genius. Thats all.

    A truly remarkable and revolutionary title this game changed the FPS franchise as we know it. This for it's time and even to this day is an excellent game introducing vehicular combat and a fully staffed crew of voice actor to immerse you and make the experience even better.

    This game is jammed packed with a amazing story. The music was incredible too. The environment was mind boggeling. Looking up for the first time seeing you were on a ring world, was priceless. This game brought me closer to my family, and friends for that Halo. I thank you.

Amazing soundtrack witch helps adding to the feel of the game. And a splitscreen Co-Op, witch makes this game the best, or atleast on par with the sequel, Halo 2. But, is it worth buying today?     This is no other doubt the best FPS game I've played so far on the Xbox. It has a good story, good graphics, awesome soundtrack, breathtaking gameplay that will make you play this game all day, every day.
    The multiplayer in this game is great as well.
    Overall, this is my second favorite Halo in the Halo series and it's definitely worth your time! The only problem I had with this game is    This is no other doubt the best FPS game I've played so far on the Xbox.     When I first got halo CE a couple of years back, I didn't really know what to expect, I heard good things about the game, but hadn't seen any gameplay or heard of its lore, after playing the game and completing it, I took a deep breath, I had just experienced one of the best games of the past decade, everything in the game is mind blowing, for a 2001 console launch title, halo still playsWhen I first got halo CE a couple of years back, I didn't really know what to expect, I heard good things about the game, but hadn't seen any gameplay or heard of its lore, after playing the game and completing it, I took a deep breath, I had just experienced one of the best games of the past decade, everything in the game is mind blowing, for a 2001 console launch title, halo still plays like its brand new, the gameplay feels smooth and fluid, the graphics look nothing like anything available on consoles at the time, with rich detail and vibrant colours, a nice breath of fresh air from the grey/brown fps games of the time,although by todays standards the game look a little bit boxy, but hey, it was 2001, story is also pretty damn good as well, with well developed characters, such as the now iconic master chief, and the witty AI cortana, although halo offers many great features including a regenerative shield system, a precursor to regenerative health seen today, and tight, well laid out controls, the level design is a bit lazy, although the outdoor environments are huge and expansive, the indoor environments are very copy and pasted, none of the corridors look distinctive from one another and sometimes you get the feeling that you're backtracking coad everything looks the same, and do I really need to talk about the library? **** that level, but aside from that, halo is a fantastic game that refined the console exclusive fps in a way that goldeneye could only dream of doing, everything from the controls to the gameplay feels like it was hand crafted for the original xbox, and without Halo, we wouldn't have the console exclusive fps games we know and love today, and halo is still leading the charge, halo is definitely worth picking up today, hell, I bought an original xbox just to play it! If buying an original xbox Is not on your list though, its available on pc, the remastered halo anniversary on xbox 360, and via the master chief collection on xbox one… Expand

    It's not an easy task to create a colossal universe, with a lot of beigns where each being has its own releigion, characteristics and story, is even harder to create this universe and fit a great game, with revolutionary gameplay, catchy characters, great story evolve, great story telling and high quality cutscenes, Halo: Combat Evolved is an icon in the FPS genre.

    Halo Combat Evolved marked the beginning of a new franchise! This one particular video game started a new generation of gaming like Super Mario Bros. did in 1985. This is a new story that is refreshing for any gamer. You are with an organized Human military force known as the UNSC and you are at war against an alien race known as the Covenant. The Covenant is made up of 4 alien known asHalo Combat Evolved marked the beginning of a new franchise! This one particular video game started a new generation of gaming like Super Mario Bros. did in 1985. This is a new story that is refreshing for any gamer. You are with an organized Human military force known as the UNSC and you are at war against an alien race known as the Covenant. The Covenant is made up of 4 alien known as Jackals, Hunters, Grunts, and my personal favorite alien race in all of Halo, the Elites. After an ensuing battle in a UNSC spaceship known as the Pillar of Autumn, you escape the ship in a drop-pod. You and the rest of the UNSC crash on a ring world called "Halo." The story has a protagonist that you play through the eyes of a Spartan 2 named Master Chief. He has an A.I. partner that briefs him on what to do throughout the missions known as Cortana. You have another ally who is a captain named Keyes. While on Halo. You come across an ancient parasitic group of life forms known as the Flood. You even come across an ancient race that is designed to stop the Flood known as the Sentinels. They are led by the monitor of the ring world named "343 Guilty Spark." He reveals that Halo is built by a long extinct race that built him and the Sentinels known as "the Forerunners." Halo is also designed to destroy all life in the galaxy. So your objective is to destroy Halo. You succeed in the end and Master Chief says on of the best lines in history ever, "No. I think we're just getting started." That is a great way for opening up to a sequel! Halo Combat Evolved also features a brand new multiplayer. The maps are mind-blowing and they give you unlimited possibilities of what to do. Halo's multiplayer is very strategic-thinking and very competitive. But you will have to play on co-op or either system link because Xbox Live didn't exist until Halo 2 came out, but don't worry though, because you will have a fun time playing this game. With an amazing story and fantastic multiplayer, Halo Combated Evolved deserves a PERFECT 10/10.… Expand

    Everytime i see halo....

    i just want to turn on my console and play Halo 1 to 4.
    This one had the best scenes and moments.
    Every xbox owner must play this game and the franchise.

    I'm not one for FPS games, I hate Battlefield and COD but this game is probably my favorite game so far! I have put hours and hours into this game before I even noticed it... my favorite waste of time so far.

    GAME with the nice gameplay, nice story, and nice graphic. It is not too difficult to play, but enough to drain the brain if we want. What I like about this game is the story, really high imaginative where there is such a halo. The part that I like is when that has to face the flood, the atmosphere (plus the music) is really tense, like aliens or alien vs predator games.

    Nunca he sido fan de Xbox, ni de Gears, y ni tan siquiera del propio Halo (es por eso que me lo pasé casi 20 años después de que salió). Sin embargo he de reconocer que es un juegazo. Gran historia, ambientación, música y muy potentes gráficos para la época. Los shooters en primera persona no son Santo de mi devoción precisamente, pero tengo que decir que tiene un gran gameplay, aunqueNunca he sido fan de Xbox, ni de Gears, y ni tan siquiera del propio Halo (es por eso que me lo pasé casi 20 años después de que salió). Sin embargo he de reconocer que es un juegazo. Gran historia, ambientación, música y muy potentes gráficos para la época. Los shooters en primera persona no son Santo de mi devoción precisamente, pero tengo que decir que tiene un gran gameplay, aunque puede que le faltase variedad de armas y de enemigos. En general un juego muy bueno, aunque personalmente no me pareció excelente o una obra maestra.

    Let's begin by saying that, though I wouldn't say the game is ripping off other IPs (either movies or video games), it's clear to me where did the Bungie folks get their inspiration from. Now the actual review. - Graphics    This review is for the version of Halo CE included in the Master Chief Collection for XONE, and I'm keeping in mind that it was originally released 15 years ago.

    Let's begin by saying that, though I wouldn't say the game is ripping off other IPs (either movies or video games), it's clear to me where did the Bungie folks get their inspiration from. Now the actual review.

    - Graphics and music: I loved the music, but the graphics are just okay. It's really cool to be able to switch between the original graphics and the remastered ones. There are some lighting problems and some areas are too dark, also ponds of green water where you can't see **** and you don't know where to go.

    - Story: It's nothing to lose your lose your sleep over, really. The Master Chief is utterly boring and uninspiring. Fortunately we have Cortana, his virtual companion, who can access stuff and guides you throughout the campaign. She's a lot more interesting and her voice acting is terrific.

    - Gameplay: the story is divided into 10 missions, taking you around 1 hour to complete each. These long missions are more like Chapters than actual missions (you have multiple objectives in each of them, which are revealed to you sequentially). I prefer short missions, where you can actually accomplish something during a small game session, other than just running from Checkpoint A to Checkpoint B.

    - Combat Mechanics: maybe this is the weakest aspect of the game, and here is why: there's no aiming mechanism, so you must get close to your targets in order to shoot them down. This is okay for the first half of the game, since you can kill them fairly easy without endangering yourself. But, the second part gets tricky. Enemies explode, throw grenades, or carry a rocket launcher, so a lot of them will instantly kill you or land a critical hit on you; while requiring many shots to go down. I also noticed that a lot of mob groups keep spawning on and on. So, oftentimes there's no point in stopping to kill them, your best option is just running for it.

    - Level Design: I didn't really like it. I felt like I was playing the same generic 3 or 4 maps over and over.

    - Enemies: there isn't a great variety of them. And no boss... yes, NO BOSS FIGHT! Huge letdown.

    - Weaponry: there are like 6 different types of weapons and you'll frequently feel underpowered (unless you have a shotgun with you). Ammo for the more powerful weapons is scarce, forcing you to switch, which is something positive.

    - Vehicles and turrets: this is also a great addition. I really enjoyed making my way through crowds after hijacking an alien vehicle or climbing into a turret (specially when ammo was running low) to obliterate incoming waves of foes.    … Expand

    Pros:

    Interactive environment

    Halo set an industry standard with their FPS interactive environment that was later copied by many other FPS series. For its time the interactive environment of Halo CE allowed users to truly feel as if they were part of Master Chief's quest to destroy the Halo ring. Combat scenes became more realistic, traveling was more realistic and the game overall expanded on for its time what a 3D enviornment was for gaming standard.

    The soundtrack

    This is completely a personal opinion; Halo CE has one of the most impressive soundtracks for any video game of all time. Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori truly showed their fantastic ability to compose a soundtrack that helped players feel in touch with the game and its story, the soundtrack stresses chief's struggle and success. The game does an excellent job of making you feel as if you're Master Chief with the soundtrack.

    Multiplayer experience

    Halo CE allows you to play through Chief's story with a friend and compete head to head or together against other players via split screen or system link. There are over a dozen maps to explore and if you're playing the PC version or Xbox One MCC version of the game nearly 20 maps. Not all the maps are perfect but there are well more than enough to keep you entertained for hours on end.

    Why did I give this game a 10? Halo CE offers a campaign and multiplayer experience that no other FPS for its time was able to offer on a console. Halo set the bar for many industry standards in the FPS genre that to this day are still built upon.    … Expand

Never before have I been so immersed in this epic experience. The multiplayer is a blast and very addictive, accept it isn't actually online. You have to play local which is a shame, and that's only because it's old.     Bungie nous livre ici un jeu très, très solide. Déjà, quelques années auparavant (en 1995), ils nous avaient livré un jeu curieux, Marathon, qui avait créé une discrète révolution dans le monde du FPS : la possibilité, pour le joueur, de regarder dans tous les directions. Ça peut paraitre surprenant aujourd'hui mais à l'époque, personne n'y avait pensé.

    Le tout premier Halo n'apporte en soit aucune révolution de ce genre. Il s'est contenté d'être un excellent jeu, frôlant par moment la perfection.

    Son mode campagne nous fait découvrir pour la première fois le Master Chief, un super soldat, dernier représentant de son genre, au service de l'UNSC. Oui, l'ambiance se veut futuriste, et, on le découvrira avec le temps, relativement concrète et cohérente. La Terre et ses colonies sont en guerre contre une alliance d'aliens nommée le Covenant. On découvrira à travers le jeu ces différentes races d'extra-terrestres qui disposent tous de leurs caractéristiques.

    Plus qu'un FPS, Halo est également, d'une certaine manière, un jeu d'aventure puisque ses niveaux, non fermés et assez vastes (pour la plupart), nous permettent de découvrir un étrange monde-anneau du nom de Halo. À chaque niveau le joueur avance à taton, ne sachant trop où il va. On a donc réellement l'impression d'explorer l'inconnu, progressant dans des terres hostiles mais terriblement mystérieuses, et qui semblent (à juste titre, héhé) avoir été abandonnées il y a des milliers d'années par une race technologiquement supérieure... On en saura plus d'ailleurs sur tout ceci au fur et à mesure que l'on avancera, découvrant ainsi les mystères de Halo et les dangers qu'il renferme.

    Le jeu est beau, très beau même pour l'époque, et le tout est sublimé par les compositions de Martin O'Donnell, alors un illustre inconnu, qui a eu recours à des idées et techniques pas banales pour un jeu de ce genre. Je pense que tout le monde connait le thème principal de la série, avec ces fameux chants de moine... Une idée simple mais génial !

    L'autre gros morceau de Halo, qui lui a valu son succès, est probablement son mode multijoueur, en local uniquement. Dans la continuité de ce qui se faisait de mieux sur console à l'époque (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Time Splitter), proposant de nombreux modes de jeu et une vraie richesse en terme de possibilité, le tout s'approche de la perfection tant le gameplay de Halo, atypique, est pointu et bien pensé. Bungie installe ici l'une des clés de Halo, le triangle arme à feu-grenade-manchette, et toutes les armes semblent se valoir, ayant leurs forces et leurs faiblesses. Les niveaux sont extrêmement bien pensés, et on peut s'affronter à 4, en écrans splittés, et jusqu'à 16 en LAN.
    De très grands moments de bonheur entre amis.

    Alors que je rédige cet avis je ne sais pas encore quelle note vais-je attribuer au jeu. La scénario est sans doute le point faible du jeu, puisqu'il installe en fait les bases de la série sans non plus trop les creuser. Il est donc relativement classique, même si très plaisant, et qu'il révèle peu à peu son lot de surprises.
    La campagne peut se montrer frustrante par moment, lorsque l'on est parfois obligé de faire des aller-retours dans des couloirs qui se ressemblent tous. Mais le rythme est telle que l'on ne s'ennuie jamais, du premier niveau jusqu'au dernier, avec en point d'orgue ce finish très hollywoodien.

    Ceci étant... ce jeu est un mythe, et le premier épisode d'une longue et belle saga, il est à découvrir en temps que tel.    … Expand

    This game did not age that well, it is still a good game, but it does seem (at least in multiplayer standards) that gun balance was not really something that was paid attention too, it can be really fun and addicting, but as long as the other guy isn't camping the flag with a rocket launcher.

It was around '05 when I first started playing it. Up until last month when I wen't over to my cousins we played it on his original xbox. I own the anniversary version of the game and I love playing it. I don't play Halo much anymoreThis is a game that changed gaming, I grew up with this game and I played it all the time at my cousins. My cousin introduced me to halo and was born in 2003. It was around '05 when I first started playing it. Up until last month when I wen't over to my cousins we played it on his original xbox.     I began a new file about a month ago, and wowwwwwwwww. I can't believe how well this game still holds up. It sounds amazing on my Denon 5.1 surround system, the gameplay is just as fun as I remember almost 20 years ago...(I was 8 when this game released and got it for Christmas)...I remember how dissapointed I was that Christmas that I got an Xbox instead of a PS2...but as the years wentI began a new file about a month ago, and wowwwwwwwww. I can't believe how well this game still holds up. Also, after realizing how much more powerful the Xbox was than the other 2 consoles at the time made me more okay with it...that and the fact that back then, Xbox had support from alllllll kinds of Japanese studios, one of the best being Team Ninja. (Xbox acquired one of the best ninja games of all time Ninja Gaiden!!!) anywho, I got off subject. This game is beyond nostalgic for me, it's just so well made. The graphics are amazing too for a 2001 game, the lighting effects the bump mapping, the bullet decals literally never disappearing no matter how many times you fire...what happened to little details like that? Seems like soo many games these days go for photorealism and forget the "realism" aspect. Hah! Also, the AI, actually feels ArTiFiCiAlLy InTeLliGeNt!!! This is how you code AI characters in a shooter! Not only does my crew feel like they are aware of their surroundings, but so do my enemies! A battle actually feels like a challenge and rewarding afterwards! This feels like Halo because it IS HALO. Bungie made a big mistake leaving this project because 343 Studios has screwed up every iteration since taking over. The original Halo is so captivating, the storyline is so engaging, I am actually watching cutscenes, because as a kid, I just wanted to shoot stuff. But, as an adult, I want to know the real story, I want to know what Halo is, I want to BE Master Chief. Bring back this feeling 343, or stop f*****g making games with the name "Halo" because your games are not this!!! If you want to play a true classic, play this game, play it on your 360 even, set the resolution to 480p so that it scales widescreen. It looks amazing, even on my 65" 4k Samsung. That says a lot considering older games usually look like trash on new TVs. Also, stop spamming this freaking game you 0 rating POS's obviously you probably play Fortnite and are pissed because you can't play an actual ViDeO GaMe that requires you to think beyond, "uh huh imma build this random f*****g wall so uh huh noone can uhhhh shoot back at me". Yeah it's not perfect as the last 3 levels are just you running through them in a slightly different way than you did earlier in the game but hey...     I happily give Halo: CE a 10 out of 10. I played this game a lot back when I was a kid in 2002. The Story is amazing, the gameplay mechanics solid. And the characters were well developed. Fighting the Covenant and the Flood was simply a fun time. This game has made so many memories for me that I will hold onto for a long time. It truly is one of the best games of all time.

    this game is a great game. the story is great, the multiplayer amazing but the problem is the campaign not the cutscenes or story but the gameplay. it feels like a chore to play i didnt have any fun health packs were too scarse on the mission the guns take out vechicles too easily if im in a tank, i want it to feel like a tank. but for a game this old the animations are great better than most

    What a great start to the series. This was a revolutionary game for the time and is still fun to play to this day. It's not as legendary as some of the sequels, but it is a great FPS overall.

    The best fps for me to be honest. I played this game 24/7 when I was a kid but stopped for awhile and I never expected to come back for this game. All the feeling and love I had for this game came back and felt like I joined a new world. I never had strong feelings in any game other than Halo.

    One of the best. A defining first person shooter for consoles. The first 'Call of Duty' before Call of Duty even became a popular franchise. The multiplayer was beyond par, system link could be exploited through online gamespy applications to play using LAN hacks. Amazing fun for before Xbox Live filled the niche which expanded into a gaming phenomena.

    This game is just beautiful. The graphics and AI were really amazing back in 2001, and filled with memorable characters, from the random marines to the most important characters, this game... It saved the XBOX.

    Given that this game came out in 2001, it's aged incredibly well. The controls aren't confusing or hard to grasp. The story is well written and acted.
    It's an all around good game that proved its worth as the flagship product for the XBox. Given that the FPS genre was still relatively untouched on consoles, save for Rare's 'GoldenEye 007' and 'Perfect Dark.' Bungie did an amazing job of not only near perfecting the FPS formula on the console, but also defining the tropes of the genre for years to come. Two weapon limit, using the left trigger to throw grenades. These may be considered common mechanics now, but Halo, for better or for worse, was at the forefront of pushing these mechanics into the genre. Not only is this refinement and improvement on the genre impressive, as mentioned before the FPS genre did not have a strong foothold on the console market. The genre was pretty much confined to the PC (not that they had reason for complaint with games like Half-Life, Counter Strike and the original DOOM). So for Bungie to bring a relatively new genre as it was, to a platform that wasn't familiar with the genre, and a new platform franchise no less, and it was still a success speaks volumes of Bungie's ability in crafting this game.

    Whilst I can speak huge volumes of praise for the game. It is not without it's shortcomings. Whilst it doesn't have too much of an impact on the game. There is a very small amount of weapons available (although there is a nice amount of vehicles). 5 UNSC weapons and 3 Covenant weapons to be exact, and whilst for the most part these weapons are well balanced and implemented into the game. The magnum is so powerful it practically removes the need for any other weapon so long as you're a crack shot. However, those first two issues were more on the knit-picking side, my major issue with this game, and one anyone who is familiar with the game I'm sure will agree with me on. The Library as a level is just a nightmare. On the easy difficulty it's more just an endless and repetitive journey through the same flood infested halls (which also reminds me that for many levels, there was a lot of backtracking, I know it's a frequent problem with older FPS games like the Metroid Prime games but Pillar of Autumn is an excellent example of completely linear level design with practically no elements of backtracking other heading too and then leaving the bridge.) but on legendary, The Library is an absolute nightmare, even with a friend by your side.

    Genre defining and innovative beyond it's years
    Occasional good level design mixed with lots of backtracking
    The Library should've been left out
    Short range of weapons to choose from
    Nice variety of vehicles

    Many people bought an original Xbox just to play this game. It was revolutionary. It changed the video game industry for its time. And the game has aged only a little. The story is still good, and the graphics still look good to this day. I cant say how much i recommend this to you. Just dont use the Assault Rifle. Ever.

But when I rate games I consider playing it now more important then how it was when released. And some things have definitely aged in combat evolved. For one the visuals and environments can be blocky and dull to look at some times and some areas are just plain ugly or are very dark. I find the old visuals to be charming flawed but charming but for many today this game can be quiet ugly in general although I will hold up that some areas and levels are quite pretty in their own sense. Of course you can play with the anniversary visuals in that port or in the MCC collection. But those visuals are fairly plain to me and completely bungle the tone and designs of areas and enemy's. I wouldn't recommend the anniversary visuals but I know that for many modern gamers the original look can be very unappealing so that can be a problem for some. One other common complaint and one I share is the level design. Now this is mostly for the last 4 levels the first level is fine the second and fourth levels I think are wonderful and nice to look at the third level is okay and the fifth level has a good tone and atmosphere to it. However the Library or seventh level is probably one of the worst levels in the entire series, It just not fun to play especially on harder difficulties. And the last 3 levels are just levels previously played but different in some ways and because of that it just feels a bit boring. Although the last stretch of the last level is truly a classic as you have to drive through the ship before it explodes. The ships architecture might make no sense if you stop and look around a bit during this segment but it doesn't matter because of how fun it is and how well it caps the game off. That mostly covers any negatives I have other then that it's mostly positives. Gunplay is super solid and really solidified many conventions we have with modern console shooters. While there's not really a large verity of guns in the game all of them are fun to use and have their place within it. The pistol is famous for how overpowered and fun it is. The shotgun might be my favorite in he series just for its long look and how much punch it has . I could go on but my point is that there all good and have wonderful sound affects to go along with them. But what really makes the gameplay so much fun is the AI. Even compared to some modern titles the AI is remarkably intelligent. Enemy's will find cover, try to flank you, charge you if they now your near death and will retreat if a superior is killed. Of course this mostly applies to the covenant as the flood act more like AI in shooters at the time in that they will just charge you and mindlessly shoot. Makes sense considering what they are but in practice not as fun to fight which adds to the later flood levels not being as much fun to play. Anyways what else can I say the music is fantastic and really just iconic and down right beautiful at times. The vehicles are fun to use but also are really wonky in how they feel and the fact they like to drift. Except the tank the tank isn't really fun to use in this game but you never have to use it so there's that I guess. The plot today is a bit simple but there are layers to it and a sense of mystery as well. Who built the rings what are there purpose how and what are the covenant? When it comes to characters there's only like six in the whole game and some are forgettable or don't get to do enough but Master Chief Cortana and Guilty Spark are defiantly memorable characters. Although Chief is a bit of an idiot in this one and Cortana is rocking a bowl cut but other then that I cant really complain. Overall Halo Combat Evolved is a classic it might be a bit rough around the edges but the core gameplay is a blast to play and certainly worth playing today among any fans of shooters.… Expand

But then my friend and I played split screen coop for the first time, we basically played the whole game over a weekend, 8 hours of awesome. The additional one-button actions like throwing a grenade and melee attacks with the simple "swap to other weapon" inventory complete the circle of a shooter where you spend more time devising your tactics while your shield recharges. Vehicles are a fun addition. The story is quite interesting although with some obvious misses. Having Cortana providing tactical support is a welcome addition to the up to that point empty experience of the typical FPS of the era. Combat Evolved is definitely a well earned game.… Expand

    The story is phenomenal absolutely one the best games in the world. This game had changed entire video game development. Great campaign and mltiplayer with great maps and gameplay and gunplay. The only thing that miss is this game is so addicting.

    Still Amazing. Halo CE is one of my favorite video games, and my favorite gaming franchise of all time. This games, halo 2, and halo 3 are the few video games I've revisited dozens of times. it's still as fun to play now as it was 14 years ago when I first played it.

    Su principal problema es el diseño de los mapas de las misiones (dos misiones en específico), que se vio muy afectado por el corto tiempo de desarrollo del juego. A mí personalmente me gustan todos los niveles, pero viéndolo desde una perspectiva más "objetiva", los niveles "La Biblioteca" y "Dos traiciones" son    Ningún videojuego es perfecto, y este obviamente no es la excepción.
    Su principal problema es el diseño de los mapas de las misiones (dos misiones en específico), que se vio muy afectado por el corto tiempo de desarrollo del juego. A mí personalmente me gustan todos los niveles, pero viéndolo desde una perspectiva más "objetiva", los niveles "La Biblioteca" y "Dos traiciones" son horrorosos, y lo peor es que este último es exactamente el mismo nivel que "Ataque a la sala de control" (que ya de por sí era repetitivo) solo que con otra ambientación y con el Flood.
    Fuera de ese problema principal solo hay errores pequeños, como el hecho de que un vehículo a 0.0001 km/h pueda matarte, que la Magnum esté OP y que los Hunters en Legendario sean tan vulnerables si usas la Magnum o el Francotirador.
    Esos problemas al final terminan opacados por muchísimas virtudes; la agilización de los FPS en consolas, una historia interesente, giros argumentales muy bien logrados, un multijugador variado, personalizable y adictivo, y mecánicas innovadoras que aún en 2019 encuentras en juegos actuales.
    Entiendo que a muchos no les guste el juego, pero una cosa es que no te guste y otra es que pienses que es un juego sobrevalorado e ignores el ENORME impacto que tuvo en la industria de los videojuegos.

    I really enjoyed and loved the story. However, the maps were all a reskin of the last. There was like three different locations, and then everything else was a clone of the last. This was an old Xbox game, so I guess too much can't be expected. But that is the only problem I had with the game. The game was just rinse and repeat. But the combat was still fun.     One of the greats, really good combat system with a satisfactory feel when aiming and shooting. Add that up with, a now classic, gorgeous level design, it gives you the true feel of Halo. A genre defining game that definetly deserves the praise and fame it has gotten all over the years. Great starting point for such an illustrious saga.
