    That first time you walked through a level transition and out into a battle between AI Covenant and Marines... that, on a console, blew my mind. The story might be muddled and weird as the series goes on, but the simple thrill of the incredibly well-balance gun fights has just gotten better as it advanced. This game is my opinion is truly a masterpiece in every way I’ve beaten the game about 5 or 6 times and just can’t stop playing I truly think this game defines the FPS genre as a whole I think the way the game was made in terms of level design and story really shows. Overall if you looking to buy this game or haven’t bought it I would, My rating for this game is 98/100 Now I would give this game a 100/100 but there are a few things that I could pick at SPOILER ALERT: the mission “two betrayals” is the only mission in the entire game that I don’t love but also don’t hate I think replaying “assault on the control room” backwards is a bit weird but still A good mission it’s basically just “assault on the control room” but harder. And then there’s rock launcher flood which also kinda suck because it basically never tells you if there going to be there so if your playing it for the first time your going to explode. Other than that this game is fun and a great game even though these things are annoying they still promote challenge and fun. best missions IN MY OPINION: “The Library” “Keyes” “The Maw” -The Library
    Ok so basically I k ow most people hate “the library” for its very repetitive 4 floor level gameplay but I think this mission really is one of the best, see in the mission 343 guilty spark the flood are introduced and then the library is right after that, the library helps you learn your way around the flood for the the next 3 missions in the game so you have experience or at least know what to expect.

    So even though this is another mission somewhat similar to “two betrayals“ except shorter and more corridor type shooting to be it’s a great mission, taking you back to the beginning we’re you started can show to the player that the game is coming to an end in which Keyes is the 9/10 mission, overall I love this mission i don’t know why but for some reasons it’s entertaining, another thing about this backwards level design is that it’s there to show the player the covenant are being overrun by flood I think this creates a climactic type feel into the game and help rise to the top of the story, anyways overall great mission.

    I truly think that this is the BEST FPS ENDING IN HISTORY basically it takes you back to the pillar of autumn but this time it’s override by flood, one thing I love about this mission that I love is that it’s not to long but also not to short this mission has the perfect length to a game ending in my opinion so for those who hate the library this may be a side of relief. The ending with the worth of is really cool and a great ending to a FPS game.

    What can I say but this version of the game and Halo Reach are neck in neck as my favorite Halo games. This game has an amazing story with some of the best level designs I've ever seen. What keeps me from a perfect score is the recycled level. Typically I don't care if something was recycled, but this was the most annoying mission they could have recycled. My favorite weapons are the Assault Rifle and the Magnum, and they always come in handy. Enemies are diverse and each one requires a certain playstyle. Missions contain a mix of tight corners and wide-open battlefields. Sometimes the wide-open battlefields can feel boring because you have to run across great distances at times or there is not enough combat. One thing to remember about the campaign: BEWARE OF THE ROCKET FLOOD. The graphics are amazing for the art style and IMO, the graphics still hold up today because of the art style. Now for the multiplayer. I haven't played that much multiplayer, but what I have played, it's always fun. I never had 16 people to play with at once, so the big maps are more about screen peaking or playing hide and go seek. The best game modes to play with two to four people are slayer or rocket slayer, and it does not matter what map you are on. This is truly a must-play title.… Expand

    Easily, one of the games I have finished more than 10 times. The story of the Master Chief exploring Halo is a classic, but it was not there where I spent most of the time with this game, it was in the amazing and funny multiplayer!

    Halo 1 built upon the legacy of Half-Life, and delivered an amazing sci-fi experience. The soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is so balanced and fun, the storyline is intriguing and mysterious, the characters are memorable and the experience is simply timeless. The level design though is a bit questionable, Bungie's decision to reuse the same levels in the second half of the game made theHalo 1 built upon the legacy of Half-Life, and delivered an amazing sci-fi experience. The soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is so balanced and fun, the storyline is intriguing and mysterious, the characters are memorable and the experience is simply timeless. The level design though is a bit questionable, Bungie's decision to reuse the same levels in the second half of the game made the game feeling less varied. But other than the level design Combat Evolved captured the cinematic sci-fi experience many of us thought we never needed. I can say the Halo 1 is a masterpiece but it is certainly flawed and the replay value isn't as much as other high-quality first person titles like Half-Life, Bioshock or Quake.     Perfect in All except the audio in Spanish, but at least it have Spanish audio. Halo 2 doesn't have Spanish audio.

    I played this game 18 years after it was released and even with the very aged graphics the game still looks and feels amazing. Its gameplay that is still fun all these years later make me call it nothing but a masterpiece. It is one of the most amazing sci-fi experiences of all time and is a must play for all old and new FPS fans.

    Well the level design is a bit weird, felt like bungie just copy pasted the first few levels for the second half of the game but other elements of Halo 1 kick ass. The soundtrack is fantastic and capable of playing with moods and emotions. The characters are one-dimensional but they are all vital for the story, the story itself is so fun.     One of my favorite games! The Weapon Sandbox is perfect no weapons overlaps another weapon's purpose. Enemies are very fun to fight and this game is definitely worth multiple playthroughs

Each weapon is viable on every difficulty and for the first game to implement the 2 weapon system it worked perfectly as each weapon had a role for example plasma will burn shields faster while bullets do more damage to flesh.Halo CE is a masterpiece and aged like fine wine. Furthermore the AI is far superior to most new FPS games as they are fair but smart and you learn to exploit their weaknesses as you pay through the game, there is very little bs even on legendary and most of the times you die it will be your fault not unfair AI. The balancing is perfect. As for the story, its good but quite slow as its setting up the rest of the franchise but conveys the theme of mystery extremely well and the introduction of the flood on 343 Guilty spark is perfect. Bungie did a great way at creating a mysterious atmosphere and you are always left with questions in each mission making you want to learn more. The characters are good, particularly Chief, Cortana and Keyes. My personal favourite missions are Silent Cartographer, Two Betrayals and The Maw. Only problem with the campaign is some of the levels are too repetitive and enclosed but this can be forgiven as it came out in 2001.
    I havent played too much of the multiplayer but from what i have played the maps are great and extremely unique and it's a lot of fun.    … Expand

Jogo revolucionário no gênero fps, da para ver que antes de 2001 não havia nada igual, sem contar que é muito divertido, no meu ponto de vista, superior ao seu antecessor na ordem cronológica, você ter que usar certa arma para counterar tal inimigo é incrível, a Inteligência Artificial é melhor que muitos jogos de hoje em dia. Os conflitos do jogo são interessante, e te faz ter vontade de jogar mais, meu problema com o jogo é o fato de dirigir ser extremamente desgostante e horrível de controlar, e ter aquelas missões insuportáveis de ficar matando uma onda de mini-aliens por uns 10 minutos seguidos sem parar, parece que foi jogado como um enchimento sem motivo. Mas esse jogo é ótimo, um dos maiores acertos do Xbox.… Expand

This helps the player to get the hands-on the first kills, while also not being too punishing    Halo Combat Evolved not only is a great game, but it also legitimized Microsoft as a gaming brand. Halo brought to the table an intense story, solid multiplayer, packed with fun and fast shooting.
    The game starts almost immediately with closed combat action, where there are lots of cover spots. This helps the player to get the hands-on the first kills, while also not being too punishing and difficult. After landing in the Halo we can appreciate the incredible graphics and setting. The enemies of Halo also look spectacular, from the goofy Grunts to the threatening Sangheili's, the threats in Halo are various and equipped with various weapons, grenades, and even power weapons, like a one-shot sword.
    Perhaps one of the most incredible things about the enemies in Halo it's the AI. At heroic or legendary difficulties, the enemies will not only deal more damage and have more hp, but they will also coordinate to flank while you are taking cover, or rush you when you are low on shields. The AI of enemies in Halo is so good, that 20 years later, the enemy's movements of Halo Infinite feel exactly the same. Bungie developer also did a great job with the music, in fact since the start of the game we are welcomed by an almost religious choir in the menu, and for the rest of the game, we have intense music in fights, alternated with more calm and gentle one during lore related dialogues.
    My only complaint with the game it's the health bar which only refills after finding health packs (which are very rare) or at the end of the level, leaving the player to only count on the shields for most of the game. Also, the weapons feel unbalanced: the handgun feels way too powerful compared to the assault rifle which becomes useless in the late game.
    Halo Combat Evolved it's intense, precise and fun! The first XBOX became a must-buy for this game, and not the other way around like it usually is!

    An all time classic. Halo combat evolved is a perfect game. Event playing it today fi think is too good.
    The soundtrack is filled with classics. shooting is fun. The deferent maps feel great although they are used repetitively.

    The game that started the massive franchise it is today. Halo was such a great game, that I still play it today! My brother and I used to play the campaign and we would often invite friends over with Halo to have LAN parties. I tell ya those were some great times. The gameplay, storyline and multiplayer was so good.

    The game that started it all. Halo created a fantastic franchise that held strong for many years for Xbox players. It revolutionized first person shooters. While it is not as good as some of its successors, it deserves to get credit for what it created. Definitely recommend playing through this game, along with the others on Halo: The Master Chief Collection

    The world, the guns, the gameplay, the multiplayer, everything kind of started with this insane game.

    Its sad to see what the franchise became today, but this was a great game.

    Joya, el que comenzó todo, por poquito este juego se convierte en exclusivo de Apple, gracias Microsoft por rescatar a Bungie y traer al que empezó una de las mejores sagas en la historia de los shooters en primera persona, una de las joyas del xbox clásico que yo nunca lo tuve pero mi primo si y me da mucha nostalgia. 8.5 mínimo.

One more thing I find nice is that the Legendary difficulty is somewhat actually tolerable unlike later Halo games. At least for me, Halo 3/Reach on Legendary is    Uhm...     The sound design is phenomenal; alongside the stellar soundtrack. Quite iconic I'd say!

    The storytelling is alright, but rest of the series does it a little better.

    Several *not* game breaking glitches exist[-0.3]. The most annoying one is: even when you cut the left arm of a certain enemy(which is used for their vicious whip attacks) while it's swinging, its ongoing melee would still land unless that enemy is stunned by your shot registered. THEN it'll be unable to whip again.

    I wasn't willing to comment on multiplayer but why not. In my honest opinion, all the weapons are a bit imbalanced when it comes to on-line experience[-0.4]. Worse still, the skill gap between new people and veteran players is more than massive at this point anyways. Maybe I should 've been born earlier than myself(10/16/2001).

    Overall, just great old game with few flaws. Something very fundamental if you're gonna discuss about FPS or video game history in general.    … Expand

The story isnt that interesting and is just a normal Halo story but it doesnt really take anything away from the gameplay. The muliplayer is also so amazing.     It's a classic for a reason. The gunplay holds up well today, allies and enemies are full of character, weapons and vehicles are diverse. Above all it's real strength is presentation, great music, art direction, and voice acting really set it apart.

    Graficos para su epoca: 7/10 texturas de alta resolucion y efectos de shaders muy buenos pero lo malo son los graficos de los soldados y del protagonista ya que los ojos estan en 2D, algunas manos tienen los dedos pegados y las animaciones de bocas parecen del Half-Life.

The floaty movement doesn't age perfectly, and getting tapped by a warthog is instant death, however, the campaign is quite incredible, from saving Captain Keyes, to finding the horror of the Flood, to destroying the Halo ring, this game was really good. I can think of so many other games that deserve to be crowned the best, this doesn't. There just is not enough weapons or enemies in it. It has its great moments,but it has its moments where i got very bored also. Lets go with the good things. Fast gameplay, decent graphics, and you know the rest.     It's fun, for sure, but not THAT fun. The outdoor levels totally rule but the indoor levels are extremely repetitive -- repetitive enough to warrant knocking a couple points of its score. Don't get me wrong -- I'm not a hater -- just being fair and honest. It seriously seems like the developers just wussed out on the indoor environments.

    This game is an all-out blast. The storyline is incredibly unique and action packed, not leaving you without wide-eyes for the entire game. Multiplayer is a bit on the lax side, but is still fun none-the-less.

There was much variety in the weapons, vehicles, and other items. And finally, the boards were very creative.     Don't get me wrong I like Halo, but I just didn't find it to be that amazingly great. i liked half-life a lot better. i would give half-life a nine and lliked it a little better than halo so i give halo an 8. just not enough weapons and i also thought some of the levels got boring.

    Incredible. I was fully a hater of this game prior to owning an Xbox. Without many games i asked my friends to loan me Halo and i fell in love. After my first kill with that pistol i neve quit until this pesky part with that flood disease, still great game.

Graphics were good for its days, but so were the graphics of DooM.     8.5 Halo was one of those games that my friend owned before me and was the reason I bought an Xbox but once I really got into it I realized that once you get to flood theirs nothing to keep you going all the gameplay gets really repetitive. On the other hand multiplayer is the one reason I kept on playing (still to this day halo3 at friends) because I just loved to stick my friends with 8.5 Halo was one of those games that my friend owned before me and was the reason I bought an Xbox but once I really got into it I realized that once you get to flood theirs nothing to keep you going all the gameplay gets really repetitive.     The most overrated game of all time. It was a dumbed down, Perfect Dark with Perfect Dark's many feature or great AI. The storyline was extremely simple and short. It had a some decent style and art direction, but was mostly was often along the lines of Golden Eye's 'Aztec' theme; what an eyesore. The ending was very anti-climactic and sudden. I'm not much of a graphics whore but bloody hell these graphics are awful, even for it's time when crash bandicoot was out I found those graphics better, they where still great graphics when I first played the game so I won't berate the game for that, but it will cost some points.     Honestly do not understand the hype. The graphics are great and the combat is fun but the much touted story is very straight forward and boring! I think this game is loved so much because it was played by ten year olds who had never played Half-Life.

    While I do think that this game is insanely overrated for what it is, it isn't a bad game. Don't listen to all of the people saying that it's the most revolutionary FPS game out there, it's not, but also don't listen to the people who say it is a horrible game. Go pick up this game, although I recommend the PC version, the Xbox version isn't bad so go pick it up and have a blast!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It is a really good game for its time, but the weakest of the Bungie Halo games. Halo CE is basically like the original Star Wars film: they invented most of the ideas that were later refined, but technically not as impressive as later works. I think a lot of fans view this game with nostalgia, I personally don't because I grew up in the 360 generation, so I have more nostalgia for Halo 3 and Reach. I am mostly critiquing this game from the perspective of someone who played through for the first time in 2021. The game just isn't that fun compared to the sequels. The first few levels are really good (Silent Cartographer is one of the GOAT Halo levels), but when the flood arrive the game become kind of meh. 343 Guilty Spark (the level) works well as a plot device but isn't actually very enjoyable to play through. The Library is an absolute chore to complete. Two Betrayals is a good level because it has has lots of vehicles and space to use them. Keyes isn't that great and to be honest when playing The Maw I just wanted it to end. IMO Halo CE suffers because it's sandbox isn't that great and you only get to experience it on levels like Assault on the Control Room and Two Betrayals. It also suffers due to a relatively boring and slow plot, and the sense of isolation in the second half of the game (to be fair, this might be considered a good thing by some people, but not my cup of tea personally). All of the awesome characters like Johnson, Foehammer, and Keyes die or go missing, and you're just left with Cortana and occasionally Guilty Spark. Compare this with Halo 2 where you have a full cast and a much richer story, more developed characters and factions, greater sandbox, and less repetition between levels.

    Yeah so to sum it up, Halo CE is a game that deserved a 10/10 in 2001, but hasn't aged terribly well. It deserves credit for starting off such a great series and it has its moments, so my score is 8/10, although I'm tempted to give it a 6.5 based solely on its merits as a standalone game to play in the year 2021.    … Expand

    18 Years late to the party but I've finally arrived.

    There is still alot of good in this game, but there is also a tonne of stuff that wouldn't fly now at all. The shooting and the guns in this game are still amazing, I was astounded at how much variety there is in the guns and how the game really forces you in a good way to use all of them.     The story was a bit underwhelming, i was expecting more from this legendary game.

    The graphics are fairly dated, that's fine, it's an old game.

    The levels are pretty boring and there is so much repetition and reusing levels, I found it really grating to play through the same levels over and over, felt lazy.

    I don't like the vehicles at all, avoided using them and almost didn't finish the game based on how awkward the warthog is to control, after reading up on it a bit I finally figured it out and it's so unintuitive how they determine those controls I really can't even believe it made it into the game. It's mind boggling that they give so many control options for every other aspect of the game yet they don't let you change those driving controls at all.    … Expand

    GAME with the nice gameplay, nice story, and nice graphic. It is not too difficult to play, but enough to drain the brain if we want. What I like about this game is the story, really high imaginative where there is such a halo. The part that I like is when that has to face the flood, the atmosphere (plus the music) is really tense, like aliens or alien vs predator games.

    What a great start to the series. This was a revolutionary game for the time and is still fun to play to this day. It's not as legendary as some of the sequels, but it is a great FPS overall.

    I really enjoyed and loved the story. However, the maps were all a reskin of the last. There was like three different locations, and then everything else was a clone of the last. This was an old Xbox game, so I guess too much can't be expected. But that is the only problem I had with the game. The game was just rinse and repeat. But the combat was still fun.     One of the greats, really good combat system with a satisfactory feel when aiming and shooting. Add that up with, a now classic, gorgeous level design, it gives you the true feel of Halo. A genre defining game that definetly deserves the praise and fame it has gotten all over the years. Great starting point for such an illustrious saga.

I, myself, have very little experience with this series, only playing scattered bits of multiplayer every so often. I was curious to see not only if the original game in the series is able to hold up close to 20 years after its release, but also to see if it can make me into a fan. In many respects, Halo: CE does hold up remarkably well, and I'm glad I finally had the chance to experience it, but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement here.

    After a run-in with alien forces called the Covenant, you take control of super soldier Master Chief, whom, along with an AI companion named Cortana, land on a giant ring world aptly named Halo. You're charged with not only rescuing survivors on Halo, but also to stop the Covenant from using it as a possible weapon against Earth. The plot itself is rather bog-standard in the grand scheme of things, with loads of contrivances and use of technology that, bafflingly, never gets brought up or used before it is most convenient to the plot. I do enjoy some of the characters like Cortana and Major Johnson, but most everyone else, including the Master Chief, are pretty bare in comparison. For its time, the story was certainly far more ambitious compared to the average FPS, but it certainly feels like the first game in the series. The same can also be said for the game's visuals. While many of the environments are beautifully rendered and dripping with atmosphere, some of the character models do look pretty ugly, with even worse lip syncing. The soundtrack, though, is fantastic and has held up considerably well (even if it can feel out of place a lot of the time).

    Of course, the real meat of what made Halo an industry standard is in its gameplay. The game is divided into six chapters, and you travel various locations mowing down enemies and getting to the end destination. Since Halo was initially a console exclusive at the time, it was important for Bungie to nail down the controls with the Xbox controller, and man did they nail it. Halo is one of those games where you can still comfortably play with a gamepad to this day, perfect for those that aren't used to mouse and keyboard. The movement is silky smooth and each of the weapons feel just as gratifying. You are only allowed two primary weapons at a time, but it's not difficult to find ones you are more comfortable using as enemies and allies alike drop them frequently. The enemy AI can range from tactical and effective, to blindly charging standing out in the open like fools. Some of them, like the grunts, even react to different circumstances, like Covenant leaders being taken out or being handed a grenade. Ally AI is actually surprisingly effective here. If you are riding around in a vehicle, one can easily take shotgun or man the turret and help you mow down enemies, even performing victory fist bumps after a kill. They're are many little attentions to detail that are always greatly appreciated. Speaking of which, on occasion you'll even be given different vehicles to pilot, like an all terrain Warthog, a gliding Ghost or a flying Banshee. The Warthog takes a bit of getting used to, but the Ghost and Banshee are a blast to control. While Halo works great as a single-player experience, it is at its best in Co-op with a friend. There are so many more laughs and memorable moments you can create with a friend, and it can make going through some of the more arduous sections a lot more comfortable.

    Which leads me to the level design. The more open-ended environments aren't an issue.In fact, those levels are where the game shines best. It's when you get to the more claustrophobic temples that it starts to falter. Much of the layout and design of these more linear stages blend in with one another, making it easy to get lost if you don't know what you're doing, especially since the game doesn't point you in the right direction a lot of the time. The game also has you backtracking halfway through, with only a bit of variation to the stages, so it ends up being visually dull after a point.

    So, no, I don't think Halo is the masterpiece that many consider it to be. However, I did enjoy my time with the game and it managed to peak my interest in the rest of the series. It's a product of its time, but it's absolutely worth looking back on if you have never experienced the original or if it's been a good while since you first landed on that ring world.    … Expand

    I like this game, but my big problems with it are difficulty and the second half. When it comes to difficulty, the absence of vehicle-jacking and dual-wielding ment it was harder for me to get past most encounters. While I generally don't like regenerative health, I wish there was at peast some pretty slow regenerative health, because it's abscence lead to so many deaths. When it comes toI like this game, but my big problems with it are difficulty and the second half. When it comes to difficulty, the absence of vehicle-jacking and dual-wielding ment it was harder for me to get past most encounters. While I generally don't like regenerative health, I wish there was at peast some pretty slow regenerative health, because it's abscence lead to so many deaths. When it comes to the second half... The Library. I hate that level more than the Nazi's(That's an exaggeration but you get what I mean). All in all, it's a great game, but it is held down by an insane learning curve and recycled rooms. Also why do they choose that circular room to recycle out of all the rooms they could've? It's established that those rooms are meant to be generators for Installation 04, so going by that, Two Betryals should be at least a couple of hours long.… Expand

    With very decent sonoplasty, the title lets us immerse in some moments in the story which is a little bit confusing in the begining, but very well written, with strong characters and simply    Unfortunately, i just have played this on 2020. The game don't grow old very well on the graphics or variety, but considering that the primal idea of the devs was a RTS, the game is surprisingly good.

This was a real deal breaker, Secondly, the checkpoints are inconsistent which is frustrating, sometimes I'd die in similar place 4 times and would respawn anywhere near the first 3 times, and if that's because the game is taking pity then I don't like that either, consistency is key.

    Overall though, fun and brilliant shooter that changed the game, my first completed halo. I hope when I play through the rest there have been some improvements    … Expand

    The story is really simple and isn't that much complex, there might be twist here and there but it's kind of forgettable. Halo's best offering is direction and presentation.

    The 2nd best of Halo games. Laid the foundation for the next 20 years, which for me has been mostly squandered sadly. But this is good fun.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Halo: Combat Evolved is on of the sixth generations classics. Developed by bunngie and published by Xbox game studios this game started one of the best (if not the best) first person shooter franchises. Although benefiting from a great story, amazing characters and top tier gameplay the level design has some down parts like repeating level design or bad enemy placement but all that can be put aside by all the great levels like the silent cartographer and the ironicly named Halo. To sum it up this game is a great start to the sixth generation, a blast to play and a great story it suffers from repetitive level design and less than stellar enemy placement and is one of the most beloved Xbox games of all time and will continue to be.… Expand

    I played it with a friends in local co-op. We sent a couple of night on it and it was fun, not too much challenging and refreshing. A good one.

    I didn't play much of the multiplayer, but the campaign was amazing with an action and horror aspect mixed into it.

    Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - um dos melhores e mais divertidos FPS que já joguei. Apesar da história não ser muito cativante, todo o resto envelheceu como vinho. A jogabilidade é muito boa; a trilha sonora também; a dublagem (em inglês porque não tem em português) não é ruim mas também não é a melhor coisa do mundo; a variedade de inimigos e armas é bem grande para um jogo antigoHalo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - um dos melhores e mais divertidos FPS que já joguei. Apesar da história não ser muito cativante, todo o resto envelheceu como vinho. A jogabilidade é muito boa; a trilha sonora também; a dublagem (em inglês porque não tem em português) não é ruim mas também não é a melhor coisa do mundo; a variedade de inimigos e armas é bem grande para um jogo antigo desse e o protagonista apesar de na maior parte do tempo ser caladão ele tem o seu carisma. É um jogo que não tem pena do jogador, em algum momento ele fica bem difícil e algumas vezes joga inimigos infinitos até você saber o que tem que fazer. É um jogo que eu vou guardar para sempre no meu coração!!

    Not the best halo game, but still an enjoyable one. Its definitely a little repetitive and suffers from some pacing issues (the library section) but it's still an absolute classic with a fantastic multiplayer.

    Halo makes a great first impression, but in the end it can't live up to all of the hype. Shameless cut-and-paste level design is abundant from start to finish, and quickly degrades into a run-and-gun corridor crawl. Halo is an above-average game, but it could have been much better.

    This game is truly the best FPS out there. Maynot have the most amazing graphics ever, but this game's weaponry and gameplay are truly fantastic. Although I've got a few minor complaints: The level design was repetitive, limited unique foes and is just a normal unrealistic run-and-gun shooter. The halo series is awesome.
