MalcF.Jan 10, 2003A modern day rip-off of the Bitmap Brother's classic game Speedball. This doesn't cut to the chaste in the same way. It certainly won't be causing me to get blisters on my hands like the original did. I can't stand lack of originality - they should have licensed a Speedball port from the Bitmap Brothers and given us the game the way it should be.

BrianD.Jan 6, 2003Why anyone would spend money to buy this game is beyond me, seems alot similiar to bombing run on unreal championship exept for two things, no guns and not on XBL.

JoeyT.Feb 20, 2003Amazing, enjoyable, and a bloody good time. Great game that only lacks online play...I pray they make a sequel with even more teams and Xbox Live support, then I'd dish out $50, $60, I don't care, It's worth every penny.

TimA.Nov 10, 2002I have many games for my Xbox. This one has been in the CD tray 2 straight weeks. I've missed lots of sleep and am in danger of loosing my job. This game has tons of replay value. Good strategy, very deep and highly addictive.

T.PINEDONov 4, 2002This is a very addictive fast paced game that is sure to become a must have in any gamers library. The graphics are crisp and the use of colors and shadowing are excellent. The controlls may be a little awkward at first, but that is quickly overcome and that's when the Deathrow bug will get ya !!!

NyardNov 4, 2002An excellent futuristic sports game that is frenetic and great fun to play. Deathrow is surprisingly deep once you get past the basics. I warmly recommend this game - however, not for those who can't stand four letter words.

JesseS.Nov 7, 2002Did you know that the devlopment team that created Deathrow, Southend-interactive only consists of 9 people? And only two coders? Talk about a tiny group with huge talent...Not to mention they are friendly, cool people. That said, Deathrow is the best "sports" game ever not to mention one of the BEST videogames ever produced! Support this talented team and their original product.

[Anonymous]Nov 28, 2003The best action sports game on Xbox. Period. No arguement. It is full of violence, immense and competitive strategy and will keep you hooked for weeks if not months. The conquests are well put together and team management solid. The graphics are superb and look very, very stylish. I cannot give this game enough praise.

JacobB.Nov 12, 2002This game rules. It's so addictive. One of the best games for the xbox period. It's a mix between a fighting and sports game.

GaborA.Nov 12, 2003Screw franchise modes and stats. This game is more fun than any sports game ever.

ColeW.Feb 12, 2008Loved this game, it's very fast paced and the strategy changes on every new course you play on. Tough game when you play with crappy teams, but you can win by scoring or just flat out mauling the other team.

UterDec 23, 2003The animation and graphics are surprisingly weak, but the gameplay can be fun. It's basically soccer where you can carry and throw the ball (well it's a disk) into an upright goal. I feel that the gameplay is a bit too simple, but the swearing and brutality was enjoyable to witness.

I'm hooked and I won't stop playing for a long, long time. What is Deathrow? Pure joy.
-
Amazing visuals, strong audio, great depth both single player and multiplayer wise, beautiful presentation and solid all around gameplay makes Deathrow one of the hottest and most underrated titles of the year.

Maybe its name has allowed it to slip under the proverbial radar. This game isn't about incarcerated inmates waiting to die. In fact, they should have called it Profanity-laced, Ass-kicking, Super, Glowing, Futuristic Frisbee Fest 2002.
