    A beautifully created, cinematic piece that mixes filmic camera work with short bouts of brutal combat. It succeeds at almost everything it tries to do, with compelling cut scenes, bosses, simple puzzling and secrets breaking up the swordplay. A must-try indie game that's soaked in atmosphere.

    Gostei muito do jogo, tem um gostinho de jogo antigo, e os gráficos são muito bons, principalmente essa pegada preto e branco, vale a pena dar uma chance para esse game

    One of my favorite game on game pass.
    When you start the game choose "normal" difficulty. Instead will be kinda too easy.
    Also, I don't know why but mine was set on "easy" and I don't know why.
    Great short game (5h more or less)
    Just a small experience to entertain you with.

    Jogo com visual cinemático, porém com uma pegada mais de ação hack 'n slash do que de estorinha narrativa (Tsushima). Exceto pela modo Kabuki (easy) o jogo é difícil, mas não punitivo.

    Alguns controles do jogo não são tão bons e podem te deixar numa enrascada, pra mim foi o maior defeito do jogo.     Satisfying Samurai sword slashing guaranteed, but Trek To Yomi runs out of steam before the end and it's only a five-hour long adventure.

    Trek to Yomi truly shines with its visual style and atmosphere. The black and white aesthetic make it a truly unique gaming experience that I can't say I have had before, which is truly noteworthy in a gaming landscape full of copycats in one form or another. Unfortunately, the game is dragged down by its actual gameplay. While the gameplay is not bad by any means, it is incredibly simple,Trek to Yomi truly shines with its visual style and atmosphere. The black and white aesthetic make it a truly unique gaming experience that I can't say I have had before, which is truly noteworthy in a gaming landscape full of copycats in one form or another. Unfortunately, the game is dragged down by its actual gameplay. While the gameplay is not bad by any means, it is incredibly simple, the enemies are repetitive, and the timing of the counter system feels off. These factors keep the game from being a truly excellent indie title, which is a shame given the fantastic foundation that exists here.

    All that said, I mostly enjoyed my time with Trek to Yomi, and I think the $20 price point is fair given what's on offer here (even better if you have Game Pass). In the end, I would give Trek to Yomi a 7.5/10.    … Expand

    Es un muy buen juego, tiene una muy buena historia, es simple pero a la vez atractiva. Su estilo artístico es buenisimo, su paleta de colores es original y queda muy bien con el aspecto que el juego intenta transmitir, el combate es muy bueno una vez que desbloqueas técnicas de combate nuevas. Los pequeños datos sobre la mitología antigua japonesa es muy interesante y por último los jefesEs un muy buen juego, tiene una muy buena historia, es simple pero a la vez atractiva. However, the game looks so unbelievable good from beginning to end that even if you don’t ordinarily care about that stuff in games, it’ll be hard not to be impressed by what’s on offer here.     A highly stylized sword-fighting game that looks like a Kurosawa movie. If you've seen video of it, then you already know the main draw of the game. It looks incredible, and the gameplay is just as stark and minimalist as the artwork. The combat has been pared down to its basic elements with a few tricks and combination attacks to liven things up. The combat has been pared down to its basic elements with a few tricks and combination attacks to liven things up. The combat reminds me of old side-scrolling NES games like Kung-Fu. It's fast, exciting, unforgiving, and not particularly fair. The combat is squirrelly, and rolls and parries seem to happen when the game feels like it. Sometimes you can roll through your enemies, and sometimes you can't, and I was never able to figure out what the hidden rules were. There are lots of useless combos you can accidently trigger that can get you killed. If you throw a projectile while moving backwards, which all of us do, you'll just end up throwing it behind you. For a game that relies so much on clean precise combat, it often feels messy. The last boss is complete BS by the way where you have to fight the same guy 4 times, while he has a huge health bar and does ridiculous damage.

    Despite those flaws, I give it a relatively high score for providing an uncompromising pure gaming experience. This game is different from the rest of the pack.    … Expand

    Безумно атмосферная игра. Отличная графика и саундтрек, тематика самураев раскрыта неплохо.

    Из минусов - оптимизация. Фпс сильно проседает иногда.

    I probably would never buy it, but since its in Game Pass I tried, and completed it. Interesting graphics style, good and luckily short gameplay. Too bad it isnt 60 fps on XSX..

    Не понимаю почему всем так не нравится эта игра, на мой взгляд она довольно хорошая, в том числе в плане геймплея, да некоторые моменты стоило бы исправить и боевку можно облегчить.     This game thrives mostly on its stylish visuals, but the gameplay is very simplistic and repetitive and the story is just a string of samurai movie cliches.

    Very solid visuals and story, but the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired. It's good and admittedly does open up quite a bit as the game goes on, but not enough. My main issue with the gameplay is the lack of enemy variety. There are not enough enemies that require you to change up your tactics very much.

That isn't acceptable for a game like this and took away from my experience massively. So even if I could look past the less-than-stellar gameplay, the performance made it hard to even appreciate the visuals the game has going for it most of the time.    … Expand

    Хорошая картинка, неплохой сюжет. Есть несколько вариантов концовок. Но геймлей полная ерунда. Используешь только пару приёмов. Босс был только 1 сложный, все остальные очень лёгкие.

    Dobrze zrealizowana gra w stylu filmów Akiry Kurosawy. I to jest największy plus tego tytułu. Momentami jednak zbyt mocno monotonna, a pod koniec dość trudna (na wyższych poziomach rozrywki). Przy tym wszystkim, długość rozrywki (około 5 godzin) zasługuje na plus, ponieważ gdyby gra była dłuższa to mogłaby skutecznie zniechęcić do dalszej rozgrywki.

    The irritation will regularly arise because the character does not perform your desired action on time or not at all.     Don't like it...very beautiful, cinematic, aesthetic game....but it has very boring fighting mechanics... almost finished the game but decided not to waste my time.

    Trek to Yomi is not an overly long adventure either. Outside of the standard combat there is some light exploration and puzzle solving with a few boss battles tossed in for good measure. The story is what kept me chugging through to the end. It is boilerplate but interesting. I wanted to know how things concluded so I pushed through the repetitive combat. Trek to Yomi is a game that on the surface seems way more interesting than it actually is. It feels like a good Game Pass title that occupied me for a weekend, I just wish it was a bit more in-depth when it comes to the combat itself.

    The game is impressive and an apt tribute to its cinematic roots. Blood spurts satisfyingly as you strike enemies down, burning arrows soar overhead ominously and supernatural sections are sufficiently eerie yet intriguing.
