Oct 23, 2024Despite a few elements that rubbed me the wrong way, there's not much else you can say about The Smurfs: Dreams other than the fact that this game is a pleasant, sweet, easy, and good cooperative platforming experience. It won't eat up much of your time, it generally will keep you interested with unique level design and gameplay iteration, and the difficulty and degree of challenge means it's an accessible and fitting offering for all ages.

Dec 11, 2024It is a really solid platformer with a tonne of variety and stuff to do. But I want to be very clear, I don’t think this game is for the gamer who actually grew up on the Smurfs. It’s for their children, who probably don’t even know who the Smurfs are.

Oct 23, 2024The Epic Dreams of our friends the Smurfs does not turn into a nightmare thanks to its attractive visuals, its adapted handling and its game phases that take so little risk that they cannot mechanically sink. Nevertheless, with only four real distinct universes to visit and repetitive challenges that multiply like mushrooms, the Microids title is like its little poisoned heroes: numb. It is a 3D platformer intended for the youngest, all in all correct, which, like many dreams, is forgotten as soon as you reach its end.

Oct 24, 2024Les Schtroumpfs L'épopée Des Rêves won us over and transported us on a dreamlike journey with colourful, pleasant graphics, simple, effective gameplay that's easy to pick up, worlds full of fun activities, exploration that encourages curiosity and ingenious mechanics that renew the gameplay, leaving very little room for boredom. However, some levels can be very (too) long, and some bits are clearly difficult enough for children, who are the main target audience of this title, although it will undoubtedly appeal to young and old alike, and why not in pairs, as the game offers a local co-op mode. For those who like 3D platform games like Mario 3D World, we can only recommend this fun and original game.
