    I went into this game expecting a gruesome, difficult and spooky masterpiece and that is exactly what I got. It is one of the best looking games I have ever played with an engaging story that slowly reveals the mysteries of the well designed world without revealing too much as to still leave you with an essence of uncertainty that’s needed in this type of game.     played on Xbox series s , great graphics great story although it needed a 60fps mode , overall its a must play from a new title made by a new studio.

    Solid 8. I wasn't expected it to be 1:1 Dead Space clone and it isn't. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is good, audio is good too. Too bad that for now game is bugged and don't have any rt reflections, we need to wait for the patch. Also it needs NG+. But overall I can recommend it.

    One of the best horror experiences of the last decade that isn't a remake of an older game.

    At first it's obvious that the team at Striking Distance Studios is made up of many of the original Dead Space devs. It borrows heavily from it but soon enough it becomes clear that The Callisto Protocol is its own beast with its own strengths and weaknesses. The game has a much bigger focus    One of the best horror experiences of the last decade that isn't a remake of an older game.

    At first it's obvious that the team at Striking Distance Studios is made up of many of the original Dead Space devs. It borrows heavily from it but soon enough it becomes clear that The Callisto Protocol is its own beast with its own strengths and weaknesses.

    The game has a much bigger focus on close up combat with an interesting dodging mechanic. Later one unlocks more and more ranged weapons too though.

    The graphics and sound design are on point and some of the best I have ever seen. Especially the facial animations are unbelievable.
    Talking about graphics, the gore is also extreme and brilliant.

    The story itself is a bit simple at first but the game gets a lot of world building and lore added later into the game. Characters also act pretty realistic compared to other games in the genre.

    Overall I can't say much negative about it except for that I wish it had a bit more enemy variety and more exploration. The horror elements are great but maybe get a bit diluted later on without many new enemy types.

    I give the game a 10/10 for being an amazing experience. It has amazing horror elements and manages to step out of Dead Space's shadow with many new and fresh ideas.    … Expand

    A wonderful game that reminds me of dead space the combat is amazing switching from shooting to melee feels so crisp and the lock on shot combo makes it easy to land shots for people that are bad at aiming plus there are a ton of accessibility options for people that need them would have been a 10/10 imo but the game isnt really scary about as scary as playing the last of us

    People compare it too much to deadspace. But even if there is no new game+ new content coming and the game is fun. It reminds me of the old days. I'm tired of open world...i like a good game with levels and lots of violence. This a dope ass game

    This game was one of my most anticipated this year but honestly felt like a massive chore to play through despite only taking around 7 hours.     XBox cant be so powerful yet perform so weak,this is buyer's remorse. As for the gameplay,is was repetitive and became boring after an hour of playing.

    Not sure why some players and reviewers are giving a bad critic to this game. It‘s exactly what i expected, a splatter effect overloaded action game. Feels like Dead Space on Steroids. With the already announced free DLC i think 60 -70 bugs are very fair!

    Just going to get the first thing out of the way. This game is not Dead Space, while there are some mechanics that are similar this is a completely different game. With that said I highly recommend you go into this game with that in mind.

    I also played this game on an Xbox Series X via performance mode and through my play through it was almost flawless performance wise.     I also played this game on an Xbox Series X via performance mode and through my play through it was almost flawless performance wise. It stuttered occasionally, but not often at all. Through my play through it only crashed once, but this game boots up and loads so fast that it did not bother me that bad. Also going through a modern AAA title at launch with it only crashing once seems like a great thing these days.

    I do understand that some platforms may have performance issues and you may want to wait until they are patched, but I highly recommend Xbox Series X on performance mode.

    With all of that out of the way, I am happy to say that I absolutely love this game! Yes it is hard on both normal and hard modes, but this is a survival horror game so you being fragile to the monsters in this game is something that I like.

    I have also seen people complain about the combat in this game since it is more melee based than shooting based. To me this is a lot of fun, and once you get through the learning curve of the melee based combat it becomes less frustrating and more exciting. Ammo in this game is also a rare resource, so it is not something you can just find and expect there to be plenty of. The level design, environment, lighting, and graphics are 100% where this game shines. It is absolutely both beautiful and disturbing (in a good way). One thing I kept recognizing throughout my play through was the cosmic horror designs of both the levels and the monsters. Everything about this game feels it was directly inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and I absolutely love it!

    I am not going to talk about any of the story as I enjoyed my blind play through and this is how I recommend playing this game. But I was absolutely hooked and interested on what was going on.

    In the end I give this game a 10/10, it is completely fantastic from start to finish and for everyone who loves survival horror I 100% recommend this game!    … Expand

    Waste of money and faith, I played every Dead Space game back during their release even enjoyed Dead Space 3 even though others didn't, this games doesn't even come close to Dead Space, its actually infuriating that this is what they give back after all these years, still gonna buy Dead Space remake, but Callisto Protocol will get zero praise from me.

I don't get the hate towards combat, it feels heavy and intentional. Even with multiple enemies it feels strategic. Hit an enemy with melee, push another with telekinesis, shoot another one.     The game is 10 to 12 hours long which I think is great for this type of game. Once again, not every title should be 30 - 50 hours long. I miss the times in which not all games had to have a gigantic scope.

    The only thing lacking at the moment is replayability. The game should have shipped with a New Game +. Feeling like a badass through a survival horror game by upgrading through various gameplays is something I really enjoy. The New Game + mode is shipping in February but should have been here Day One.

    Can't wait for a Playthrough in hardest difficulty and hope the Story DLC is interesting enough to warrant a buy.

    I really hope that this studio gets a chance to bring us a sequel of this game or other original IPs. I would hate if they don't get a chance to deliver a sequel which I'm sure would be much better taking in account all of the feedback and criticism.

The enemies have very similar attack patterns which are relatively easy to predict with their animations. You will be required to dodge if you don’t this game will be extremely difficult. Pro tip: upgrade the baton to be able to break an enemies arm if they block. The guns hit hard but lack variety. 2 pistols, 2 shotguns, and a burst fire rifle. It’s a step back from the creativity seen in dead space. The gravity defying glove makes a return. No different than what you saw in dead space, but there is comical amount of spikes and gears to throw your enemies into. Overall, the gameplay was very intense, but will be a turn off for those who wanted a shooting centric game. You must quickly transition from melee, to guns, to gravity glove. You cannot only choose one. Narrative: Nothing memorable here. The final twist people kept hyping up felt predictable to me. Performance: 1 crash with the occasional frame rate drop in performance mode even in cinematics even on Series X. I’m assuming it’s worse on lower consoles. Performance mode is found in the options menu.

    Visuals: Unreal 5 and it’s stunning. Atmospheric and gorgeous. One of the looking games ever. Sound: Phenomenal. Overall, I’d recommend it, but you’ve got to be in a place financially where you can afford to pay $70 for a great 12 hour experience with very little to offer after completion. I’m in the place.     Being a longtime fan of the dead space series, I can surely compare the previous entries with TCP. It becomes apparent that the Devs were the same and that´s all good. It's like reuniting with an old friend in a different setup. And I mean different in all sorts of good ways. The scenarios are astounding. It clearly shows that a lot of TLC was put into this tittle.    Go buy this game!

    Just don't expect the same quality on the story and Gameplay elements.
    Graphics are great .. Sound and acting very good.
    Clearly a high budget AA game..
    Hope there is a sequel.

    If you want to experience an atmosphere of terror, this is the game for you! It fulfills all the roles and makes you have a bad time. A game that from my opinion I loved and reminds me a lot of Dead Space. I recommend it 100%

    My only real complaint is the fighting mechanics are a bit    Solid game. It's being review bombed because it's not a Dead Space clone, even though a full remake of dead space comes out within two months of The Callisto Protocol. Obviously it wasn't going to be a dead space clone. Don't hate the game because you don't know the difference between the terms "spiritual successor" and "clone".

    My only real complaint is the fighting mechanics are a bit glitchy and they're counter-intuitive to every other melee combat game. You can't dodge, you can only bob and weave like a boxer, which is hard as hell when you're being attacked by multiple enemies from multiple angles.

    And the save points happen when you enter a safe area, not leave it. So you have to re-do your upgrades, and re-sell/buy items if you die, and you will die, a lot.

    Dying so much takes away from the horror aspect of the game, since you don't fear death when you die over and over and over. After a while you come to expect it.

    The sound effects are great. The graphics are amazing. It's definitely worth a play imo.

    Some say there's no story. I don't think the people saying that finished the game.

    This game makes you feel a certain kind of way and it's incredible at it.
    Don't sleep on this one just because journalists ran a coordinated smear campaign. They did so they could shill for the big 3 and further degenerate gaming into nothing but factory filth. Guess they have to make sure real games don't get made anymore.

    The biggest complaint I keep hearing is that you lock on to the enemy that's attacking you, so it doesn't work for multiple enemies or... something. I gotta tell you that this game gives you all the tools you need. If a second character gets too close, you will still dodge it because it instantly locks to the enemy attacking. What you need to do is use the telekinesis glove to throw extra enemies out of the way if you get overwhelmed. SIMPLE AS THAT. Just pay attention to the environment and use everything you can to dominate enemies, that's what hazards and explosion tanks are there for. Just use them. Figuring out how to not get overwhelmed and managing enemies is THE WHOLE POINT, while being as ruthless and efficient as possible. This game is basically perfect at everything it attempts. I can't believe all this bad press it's getting from people who PLAY VIDEO GAMES FOR A LIVING, so you would think they wouldn't suck.

    Another thing is "it's just linear OMG I can't endlessly explore idiot areas aimlessly wahhh" Go play Ubisoft you morons. Get some micro trans checklists you're such a glutton for. Because that's exactly what you'll get when you only give excellent scores to cookie cutter games. You get what you deserve you fools. This game is a series of expertly crafted and paced GAUNTLETS, it always is throwing a new challenge at you each and every time and highlights the actual depth and game design prowess on clear display.

    Oh and too many vents... Well would you prefer broke asses with old systems and hardware couldn't play it? You need that to hide loading screens, besides this is how the previous games were and part of the DNA. They paced it out extremely well and I'd argue you wouldn't get near the same "Dead Space feeling" without them. It's all about vibe. What's funny is that this is a cross platform game and STILL has the best graphics I've ever seen in a game. Try and tell me it doesn't look like a literal movie from start to finish!

The combat mechanics is where I believe it really fell short. Jacob's movement over obstacles feel clunky and unresponsive. It almost feels like turn based combat. Enemy does three moves you do two.     This game is phenomenal! Beautiful graphics, tense atmosphere, excellent grasp of survival horror. Don’t go by the critic’s reviews on this one. Wrote a longer review but Metacritic botched it. Support a new IP and if you’re vaguely interested in this title, pick it up! You won’t be disappointed.

The game is the order 1866 + mortal kombat beat an up, too much cinematics to load game, quick time events, the characters principal is very boried, lineal game play, no puzzles, it's a game about 8 hours to final game. Xbox series S not run 60 fps, xbox series x not raytracing, xbox series S is the same version xbox one fat, it's a joke. They Sai that callisto run 60 fps with gotham knights 30 fps. The camera is too much near, the Jacob cover all TV, I don't see anything. There is the same enemies fighting style mortal kombat fight round 1, it's awful, I want a game similar dead space and not this game similar even rise son of Rome. Graphics cinematics, but where is the game play dinámica, Jacob looks a tank is very slow. It's a walking simulator beat aan up mortal kombat + quick time events rhe order 1866 or rise son of Rome, and Sony is the cause of this problems, it's a game made by sony, cinematics walking and loading too much ohhhh and game play very bad, and slow.     Déjà techniquement il se situe dans le haut du panier des jeux actuels. Les modélisations sont superbes, les décors fouillés, les effets de particules magnifiques et l'aspect sonore est fantastique (avec un casque audio 3D, on entend vraiment d'où viennent les ennemis, par où ils passent, etc...). Le jeu est aussi assez difficile avec des moments bien tendus. Il faut vraiment apprendre comment combattre au mieux chaque ennemi et économiser ses munitions. Je suis mort un paquet de fois, surtout contre certains boss.

    Oubliez ce que vous avez lu sur les chutes de framerate sur Series X, je n'en ai eu aucune, ou bien je ne les ai pas vu. Seul gros bug bien présent et récurrent, le doublage. La synchro labiale est aux fraises et il arrive souvent que des dialogues ne se fassent pas (ou qu'ils basculent en anglais). Une catastrophe.

    Au delà de ça, le truc c’est que si on enlève l’aspect technique d’un jeu très beau, avec une qualité sonore au top, on se rend compte que le jeu est un copié collé de tout ce qu’on connaît déjà.
    Que ce soit au niveau du scénario, des environnements traversés ou des situations, je suis limité affligé par le manque d’imagination des développeurs. A part quelques éléments par ci par là, tout a déjà été vu dans le jeu, c’est vraiment dommage.
    A cela s’ajoute ces fameux gros problèmes de doublage et on obtient un jeu intense (et difficile) qui nous gardera sur nos écrans pour le côté « block buster » comme quand on va voir un gros Independance Day au cinéma. Juste du spectacle.

    J’espère qu’ils iront plus loin dans la suite, s’ils en font une. Qu’ils se libéreront de leur passif sur Dead Space qu’ils repompent sans vergogne… Si je devais lui mettre une note ce serait 7.5/10 parce que je suis un bon client des survivals horrors…    … Expand

    The game is just boring. For the first 1,5 hour it might be exciting, but in long run you do the same all the game. Places look similar to each other. You are just walking and fighting with same enemies all the game. I don't like it. If you have some question don't hesitate to write.

    Dann haben wir übertriebene Boss-Kämpfe, welche sich durch nichts auszeichnen, außer das man so viel in den Gegner rein ballert wie es nur geht. Dieser rennt einem hinterher, und kann einen mit einem Schlag killen. Gleich zwei Bosskämpfe werden mir hier in Erinnerung bleiben. 1.Fehler und das war’s, und der Boss selber steckt gefühlt unendlich viel ein. Sorry, aber sowas mal einfach keinen Spaß und hat auch nix mit fairem Gameplay zu tun.
    Und weil einmal nicht genug ist, gibt es den Mist direkt zwei mal im Game.

    Die Tonabmischung ist stellenweise auch eine Katastrophe, und vor allem nicht Lippensynchron. Keine Ahnung wie solche Fehler im Jahr 2022 noch passieren können, aber sowas ist leider nur traurig. Kann jedem von der deutschen Tonspur nur abraten.

    Dann gibt es noch Performance-Probleme und die Framrate stürzt hin wieder ein, wen viel auf dem Bildschirm los ist. Die Story ist nicht wirklich berauschend und findet auch erst gegen Ende wirklich statt. Was schade ist, da es bestimmt nicht die schlechteste Story ist.

    Neben diesen vielen Kritikpunkten, steht eine ganz ordentliche grafische Darstellung, und ein sehr gutes Sounddesign. Aber das rettet das Spiel auch nicht, zumindest nicht für den Vollpreis.
    Sorry aber das hat Dead Space vor über 10.Jahren eindeutig besser gemacht.

    Wer auf Gore, und eine Herausforderung steht, wer der englischen Sprache mächtig ist, und sich von den technischen Macken nicht abschrecken lässt, der kann hiermit durchaus spaßige Momente erleben. Aber man sollte dann doch warten ob noch patches kommen und auf einen Sale warten.    … Expand

    Just a terible game could only stomach 6 hours of the mundane melee crap and shooting 1 gun. In 6 hours you have 1 gun. Then there's the stuttering and bugs. Game goes from boringly easy to 1 hit kills. Just a sad expensive attempt at horror.

    But it stops being scary pretty fast, the story drags, the gameplay is also way to slow and mundane, terrible (cloned?) bosses, awful final boss and stealing way to much from DS....

    Where the combat really flounders is how enemies magnetize to you regardless of where they are positioned, they can be 3 feet away and just magically be up on you leading to annoying quick time events that get old very quickly. The combat could work if the controls weren't so clunky, the game uses too many complex animations that slow everything down while your enemies have split second reaction time. Any time you face more than one enemy it all falls apart because the combat was designed around fighting one enemy at a time, there are parts where ranged enemies will kill you offscreen because you're focused on another enemy, it's not difficult just annoying.

    The story is nonexistent. Big tough girl boss causes your ship to crash into prison planet where you go through a disneyland theme park of death that you must go through to survive. The only story development is in audio logs which is beyond overused at this point. Characters are paper thin with no backstories or personality to them, no one changes over the course of the story whatsoever. Oh and it ends on a cliffhanger to sell DLC, lovely.

    Easily my most disappointing game of 2022. I was looking forward to this but it's pretty obvious the devs at the helm did not understand what made Dead Space great and were trying their hardest to imitate it while adding in mechanics from Last of Us for "muh realism". I was very hyped for this game, being a massive Dead Space fan, except DS3 but let’s not get into that car crash. However I am very disappointed with this. Visually the game is stunning let’s just clear that up first 10/10 there. The combat, while I appreciate the fact they try to encourage you use a combo of melee and shooting this fell flat and feels sluggish. I found myself using kinetic and slamming enemies into fans and spikes which made the game feel easy, to start. The story was repetitive, predictable and unoriginal. The game crashed several times and the spike in difficulty towards the end was a joke. I enjoy hard games but this felt cheap with bosses that insta kill and respawns directly in front, no breathing space to heal reload. Changing weapons is a chore and dodging was clunky, especially when trying to escape but the game decides to make you dodge instead of run. Then the last boss was stupid and overpowered, again no breathing space to escape, reload and heal, then they throw adds in as a cheap shot of making it more difficult. It was a game with so much potential, but sadly although beautiful the game was uninteresting, repetitive and try’s to be hard by using cheap tactics that just become annoying rather than make you learn patterns. They should have spent more time on fine tuning the combat mechanics and finding ways to make fights hard and more interesting without cheap tactics rather than making it stunning, boring and cheap.     The Callisto Protocol has faced criticism claiming it is a "Dead Space clone". Well, after playing it, I wish it was. Truth is, this is some of the worst combat I've ever seen in a modern game. Not to mention, the game feels uninspired, isn't scary in the least, and is full of Uncharted-esque moments that are incredibly dated. The game sucks.

Story is very run of the mill and I can't help but think most of the time I was playing a mediocre expansion to Dead Space. Is it fun, it can be. The combat is decent and dodging melee attacks and countering with your own feels good. Ultimately I felt more compelled to play it rather than wanting to.     très bon jeux avec de très bon graphisme la ressemblance avec dead space est évidente vue que c'est les même créateurs mais le game play est solide

    For me a great fast driven Action /Horror Game, with intense melee battle fighting system. Story 7/10, Atmosphere 9/10, graphics 9/10.

    visually looks real
    very convincing as well as technical in terms of motion animation. I can’t say that the story deserves an Oscar, and there were some optimization problems on the release, but the game clearly deserves such low ratings. I put 10 out of 10 to restore justice a little.

    I’m always looking for the next game to scratch my Resident Evil sized itch in between their releases, so Callisto Protocol seemed like an obvious choice. I never fully played through the Dead Space games (the new remake is definitely near the top of my backlog right now), so I went into Callisto with no preconceptions. What did I find? Well it’s a gorgeous game with some lofty shoes toI’m always looking for the next game to scratch my Resident Evil sized itch in between their releases, so Callisto Protocol seemed like an obvious choice. I never fully played through the Dead Space games (the new remake is definitely near the top of my backlog right now), so I went into Callisto with no preconceptions. What did I find? Well it’s a gorgeous game with some lofty shoes to fill, but overall it didn’t meet my expectations as a spooky game to hold me over until the Resident Evil 4 remake.
    First things first, nobody can deny how jaw dropping the visuals in this game are, how they can be visceral but also hauntingly well designed, almost like a year of development went into touching up the most minute details in the environment. I took many screenshots during my playthrough lol. It’s a learning curve for sure but I also grew to enjoy the combat, even with its inherent simplicity. It’s definitely gonna need to be redesigned a bit for taking on more than a few enemies if Callisto gets a sequel though, I totally understand the complaints even if they are a bit overreactive (welcome to gaming culture). Callisto is a very linear game unlike from what I know about Dead Space but I don’t have an issue with linearity in gaming, if anything I think we need more linear games.
    Thee are a decent amount of negatives that’s been slowly eroding Callisto from my mind since completing it. The soundtrack is pretty forgettable typical horror screeching from what I’ve heard for one. The characters & story are also just duds all around. The plot attempts to make itself more interesting but it’s too little too late in the last 5% of the game, I absolutely HATE this storytelling trope. The bits & pieces you do get are nice but there’s no decent payoff, just a horrible cliffhanger ending that really soured my final moments with the game. I know this is a horror game, but not much about it is genuinely scary. Relying on jump scares every chance you get is NOT good or even memorable horror design. Does every hallway have to end with something jumping out screaming? It gets old in record time. Off the top of my head I can’t recall a single moment where I was actually scared to move Jacob forward. Callisto is good at giving you anxiety but not good at delivering much else. At least shooting & beating down whatever jumps out screaming felt nice I guess. The performance on Series X is also not the best, I didn’t encounter anything gamebreaking like in the PC port but Callisto can make my console CHUG in spots. I’m not a frame rate snob but it was noticeable enough to see. Wish I picked it up on PS5 instead, which is easy to see as the best console on the market right now more & more with every game release doing better on PS5 than Xbox.
    Overall, Callisto Protocol is a flawed experience but one that I liked regardless. It won’t stick in the mind as much as it’s contemporaries but is still worth experiencing for those that enjoy their anxiety spiking, not at $70 though.    … Expand

    First and foremost I understand where the hate for this game upon critics is coming from, tho most of critics took it up to 11 i would agree that after the first half of the game, the game does start to lose its interest, with constant larvae jumping on you everytime you open a chest that becomes annoying, Unbalanced bosses especially the final boss (Is super unbalanced its like you constantly die even on easy mode), lack of upgrades to your character which is something that is required if youre looking to be a survival horror, like you cant upgrade your health and inventory early on till you get the suit down the line half way through the game and even then itll just give you max health and inventory, something that is missed from other survival horrors and even dead space. i truly wish to see a more polished design for that down the line and even in the sequel. Its hard to see basic survival horror mechanics here are missing when most of the devs have been working on MANY AAA games for over 20 years including the entire dead space franchise. And its also pretty hard to find where to change skins in the game when there are no extra options in the menu, but its in gameplay options if youre wondering.
    Now for the good:
    The graphics and gore OMFG! its jaw dropping and something that the gaming industry has been hungry for, for years! And really reminds me of the indie game ILL, the gore is disgusting, disturbing, and very beautiful looking. Combat and gameplay is great and feels realistic which i love! tho it does take some time to get used to but once you got it, Bam! youre on the edge, the tutorials dont tell you much about collectables and certain items so you sorta have to figure it out for yourself, but remember to check out early on what items you need or dont but using the internet or just by browsing what items do after you pick em up. The story is a Heavy clone of dead space heck it even ends like dead space with a scary scream before the credits roll, so you would feel at home with the story if youre familiar with dead space.
    Overall this game is truly worth picking up IMO on a sale, you will love it and you would love the experience when playing this game. Im totally looking forward to NG+ when it launches on February 3rd Including new patches and fixes for the game and as well as the story DLC and more skins down the line. As well as a more fleshed out sequel of what the devs can truly do with this franchise, It is a slice and a start for the team on a new IP with a new studio thats not corrupt by greedy publishers and i trust the devs at striking distance to deliver something greater on the next game using UE5 and finally ditching that old UE4.    … Expand

Calisto Protocol é um jogo muito bom, ótimos gráficos , história envolvente e intrigante, boas brigas mas com um sistema de combate discutível, jogou não crashou nenhuma vez , um outro ponto positivo é que ele é relativamente curto mas sem passar rápido demais, funciona bem para zerar em duas ou três semanas

The lore is cool and I can see a bunch of places that they can take it with DLCs and sequels/prequels. The graphics are incredible as well. Sometimes the sound stuttered a bit but pressing the xbox circle and then immediately returning to the game with a press of b stopped the stutteringI see this game getting alot of hate.     Came into this game hoping for a Dead Space clone. What I got was a watered down version with near broken combat. One on one the combat system works, mostly, but add more than one enemy at a time in close quarters (which happens a lot) and it becomes a slog where the only way to succeed is to try again after you die knowing what the pattern of appearance is for that particular fight. Le gameplay aurait pu fonctionner s'il n'y avait pas de problème de collisions, un système d'amélioration qui débloque des coups (sérieusement, arrêter de croire que c'est une bonne idée), et un bestiaire composé de 3 ennemis. Les QTE sont stupides, pourquoi marteler Y à la moindre occasion ? J'ai dû mal à comprendre sérieusement le gamedesign random de ce jeu. Qui plus est, une fois maîtrisé ce jeu se transforme en Bulletstorm eco+, les seuls fois où vous mourrez c'est parce que la caméra aura décidé de se bloquer contre un mur ou parce que le jeu a décidé que vous ne regardiez pas assez l'ennemi pour pouvoir esquiver (ce qui est stupide). Le jeu aurait pu être génial si tout le budget avait pas fini dans le casting.    … Expand

    Me ha parecido un grandísimo juego. A la altura de las espectativas que ha generado. Visualmente espectacular y divertido jugablemente. Duración correcta y una historia que no sorprende a nadie. Pero que cumple. Aunque le ponga esta nota es una pena la cantidad de bugs sonoros que presente el juego, desde descoordinación con las voces y cinemáticas, pasan de oírse cerca a lejos, o inclusoMe ha parecido un grandísimo juego. Combat was fine when you are fighting a single enemy, but halfway though the game you find yourself fighting a half dozen or more at a time. But you can only attack a single enemy at a time… it’s just unfair. The dodge mechanic is pretty random too. Half the time it works and half the time it doesn’t. I didn’t feel anxious a single time in this game. I still get anxious replaying RE2 with Mr. X. This game has 1,000 jump scares that don’t even make you flinch. It’s a joke to be called a horror game… it’s a crappy action game with poor mechanics at best… Expand

    Yo no sé qué quiere la gente de verdad! Es un juego equilibrado, tiene virtudes y deficiencias pero que juego no lo tiene? Cierto que el precio para un juego que le falta afinar..un poco elevado pero lo jugué con cierto miedo por las críticas de la gente y lo he disfrutado! Buenos gráficos , sonido muy bueno también!     Overall, Callisto is a really good survival horror experience. If you like Dead Space, you need to try this game. The main campaign has a lot of passion put into it and I had a bunch of fun with it. The game definitely has some problems here and there, but I think true horror fans will admire it for its fantastic campaign. I really feel that this series will have just as interesting of a world as Dead Space if the series continues beyond this first installment. The story is overall good and the ending begs for DLC or a sequel. Be sure to try this game if you’re in the mood for a cinematic horror experience with a lot of intensity.

    The Callisto Protocol is an exceptional horror adventure title. It will be hard for Dead Space fans to ignore the similarities, but it should be enjoyed on its merits. With slick combat, amazing aesthetics, and an incredible plot, this needs to be played.

    This game wants to be Dead Space really, REALLY, bad, but what’s interesting about that is I haven’t even finished the first Dead Space game and I can see it. Is this a bad thing? No, it’s really not as Callisto Protocol isn’t a trash game at all, they tried some new things with the controls and stuff some of it worked but for me a lot more of it didn’t. The game’s depiction of excessive violence is fun but even it wears on to the point of feeling overboard, especially when you think why they have giant grinding machines in the open like this in the middle of a prison. The story, while predictable, was an enjoyable adventure, but as far as graphics this game looks incredible. But as most of us know by now, looks aren’t everything and so it is with Callisto Protocol.
