LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 29, 2024The game brings a rather careful evolution and is not that different from the fourth installment. Everything has been taken a step further, including the graphics, controls and even the haptic response of the controller. Which, on the one hand, is fine, because it's still a hell of a fun and polished simulator of a WWII saboteur and sniper. [Issue#320]

Aug 8, 2022With its large and well executed environments, Sniper Elite 5 is a strong follow up to 2017’s previous entry in the series, with a healthy balance of open-ended approaches and a clear direction. Maps are large enought to revisit and rediscover new areas as well as acting as an endless playground to perform trick shots and discover its secrets. Where it does falter is in the occasionally stilted AI that is either fiercely intelligent or completely helpless.

Jun 25, 2022Sniper Elite 5 offers a very specific treat to choose from. Everything it does, does it adequately and consistently. There are problems such as the poor AI, the low variety in the gameplay and rough graphics, but the whole package is decent.
