Ultimately, RoadCraft succeeds by doing something rare in today’s crowded gaming market—it delivers a unique, heartfelt experience grounded in tactile realism and purposeful gameplay. It offers a refreshing break from high-octane shooters and competitive multiplayer arenas, asking instead: “What will you build, and how will you get there?” Whether you’re a fan of simulation games, a lover of heavy machinery, or someone simply looking for a unique and immersive co-op experience, RoadCraft delivers in spades. It may not be flashy or fast-paced, but it’s thoughtful, deeply rewarding, and unlike anything else currently available on Xbox Series X.

RoadCraft is a fantastic open-world sandbox experience. 8 campaigns and plenty of missions stand between you and victory. Moreover, there are loads of vehicles, plenty of scrap, and multiplayer gameplay to keep you entertained.

RoadCraft is a ton of fun. It smartly evolves the MudRunner series, taking one of my favorite physics-based puzzle games and adding in some deliciously creative chaos.

RoadCraft follows the trail laid out by its predecessors in Snowrunner and Expeditions, but takes a different approach to the offroad adventuring. The new focus on building and re-building is a welcome change, while the core challenge of getting heavy machinery through unwieldy terrain is still present. While definitely not for everyone, finally conquering a difficult stretch of land with a road built by yourself from the sand to the concrete is a very rewarding experience.

The heavy machinery translates that weight into the title's level of fun, an ideal game for Snow/Mudrunner fans with all the necessary components to entertain and challenge in a very original way, something rare to see these days, unfortunately, in this industry we love so much. If you like this type of productions and/or simulators, this is a great game to indulge your addiction at will and the best thing is that you will only need to try it for a few minutes to know that you will like it.

Roadcraft is a game that casts the long shadow of Snowrunner behind it. However, it’s not an evolution or a sequel—it's a title determined to forge its own path. It introduces new opportunities through a resource management concept tailored for activities more reminiscent of Constructor Simulator in rural settings. In doing so, it offers an appealing proposition for a segment of players looking to experience a unique fusion of the best elements from both worlds.
