    This remake is all what I needed, everything I wished for is there, well remade with new techniques, graphics, gameplay, and original soundtracks. Well done, devs.

    Я никогда не был фанатом оригинала и саму игру сложно было назвать "Resident Evil" в принципе, но в ремейке проделали огромную работу и теперь это настоящий survival horror. Да, по сюжету тут ничего выдающегося так и не появилось, но как грамотно всё Capcom переосмыслила, просто моё почтение. Геймплей лучший в    Спасибо Capcom за прекрасный ремейк и за полную русскую локализацию.

    На последок хотелось бы сказать, что ремейк превосходит оригинал практически во всём абсолютно. Теперь эту игру не стыдно назвать Resident Evil !    … Expand

    El mejor remake de la historia, así de simple. Capcom dando cátedra de como hacer un remake, prácticamente un nuevo juego con la base del original, no un simple remaster. Este juego es mínimo un 9, toda esa gente que está puntuando mal este juego, claramente no tiene ni idea de videojuegos

    Doing my part to counter the paid bots (which metacritic doesn't wanna take care of!)
    The game not only perfectly channels the atmosphere of the original but it improves it in many ways Stellar combat and thrilling boss fights

    Absolutely incredible. They took one of the greatest games of all time and polished it to a beautiful shine. It runs great, plays great, is packed with content at launch and getting even more. I'll be playing this one alongside the original for years to come. Can't wait for what Capcom has in store for this series in the future, especially after absolutely nailing this remake. 10/10 wouldAbsolutely incredible.     Jogo tão legal quanto o original, jogabilidade refinada e super imersivo. Acredito que agora ele vai ser meu Resident principal. Vale a pena jogar, se você amava o original ou se é sua primeira vez. Boa jogatina!!!!

    Such a masterpiece. I don’t know why this game is review bombed with low ratings, they don’t have any strong arguments why this game would be bad. This game really improves on the previous game and successfully translated to modern gaming. It has been a long time since I enjoyed a game this much (probably Red Dead 2 was the last I remember)

    Game of the year for me if you count remakes.

    Idk why this game is getting review bombed. It felt like playing the original all over again. Some content was cut, but I suspect it will be used for Ada's gameplay when it gets released. Overall great game.

It should be noted that this remake is not just about improving the graphics, it has made the gameplay much better with new mechanics and has also fixed some problems in the story.     After pointing out the good points of the game, let's go to the weaknesses of the game, which made me deduct two points from the game. One of the first elements of the Resident Evil series is the sense of stress and dread of the game, which players always expected in different versions, but unfortunately, sometimes most games went towards action. The point I want to say is that some of the chapters of this title are too action-packed, reminiscent of Re5 and Re6!
    Unfortunately, like the process that Capcom took for the remake of the second game, the original soundtracks are in DLC form which is extremely ridiculous! It has also placed two other Deluxe weapons, which is really an insult to the audience. The other contents of the deluxe version are not convincing and are not worth buying at all. (Unless the DLC of Ada Wong will be released in the future)
    Now let's talk about technical problems. During several times of playing the game, I saw annoying frame drops and slow loading of textures, which I hope will be fixed in the next updates.
    The issue that was very disturbing in the original version was the very weak characterization of the antagonists, which is still present in the remake! (Except for the Jack Krauser character, who has no problems)    … Expand

    The Original RE:4 was very much a product of the early 2000s. It was cheesy, over the top, and irreverent. So seeing something like a small man with a French aristocratic hat throwing hissy fits wasn't out of place. Nor was it out of place to see Ada Wong look like a cabaret singer moonlighting as a spy in a long slip dress with high heels running around outdoors.     Fast forward to today, and RE:4 is a very different game. It's much less irreverent. It's much less set in the current comedic climate of the early 2000s; its humor is all but gone, and it's more grounded. There's a more serious tone, and things make a little more sense.

    And in this shift to a more serious take on the story, a more grounded one, they gave her a more practical outfit that is still sexy, and she says her lines like a normal person talks.
    But for the life of me, I can't figure out why that was the sticking point. All the characters changed. They were all adjusted to meet this current vision of the game.
    But because Ada Wong isn't in Jessica Rabbit cosplay, talking like a cam model, all these fans harass the actress (who was acting under the direction of the DIRECTOR), and whose character was designed by the art team under the creative director's vision.

    So yeah, things that had NOTHING to do with her, these fans drove her to delete her social media accounts. Then you have to come on here and pitch a hissy fit that a side character doesn't dress, talk and act like their favorite OnlyFans model.
    This is where we are people, simps are mad a video game character doesn't make them want to pull on themselves the minute she appears on the screen.    … Expand

    Dead zones fixed. What an awesome game. I’m loving it even more on the second playthrough. Such a well crafted and balanced experience.

    Amazing game! Just like Dead Space Remake is now the main version of the game, same can be said for Resident Evil 4 Remake! Both games are classics, but sadly they are outdated in many aspects and both remakes improve these games greatly. From now on whenever someone is going ask "should i play dead space" or "is RE4 worth playing", then the remakes will be the only versions that will beAmazing game! Just like Dead Space Remake is now the main version of the game, same can be said for Resident Evil 4 Remake!     I'm a big RE fan, and 4 is not my favourite out of them because of the too much action stuff and less horror elements in the game but this remake is great! Humble to the original and improved the its boring parts. Hope next remake with be Code Veronica and after the good crititcs it wont be an action orented game.

I did not play this game when it first came out 20ish years ago because it broke the formula. I hated the idea of over the shoulder cam for an re game. Just was supposed to be.     Story is top notch, Graphic presentation is amazing,
    Store and loot mechanics are cool,
    I don't want to slap the **** out of Leon anymore.
    Re2 I totally did want slap the **** out of leon."original version" It's really fun and I enjoy even hunting down fish and snakes to sell for money. Bad: Janky controls, caused a few deaths.

    Uma incrivel reimaginação, tirando muita coisa ruim do original e aprimorando as coisas boas que já existiam, muito bom revisitar os lugares antigos com a acrescimo das partes novas que colocaram no jogo, as reformulações na historia e nos leveis para mim, foram para melhor em relação ao original, me senti de fato jogando o jogo antigo em um grafico mais recente, o que é incrivel eUma incrivel reimaginação, tirando muita coisa ruim do original e aprimorando as coisas boas que já existiam, muito bom revisitar os lugares antigos com a acrescimo das partes novas que colocaram no jogo, as reformulações na historia e nos leveis para mim, foram para melhor em relação ao original, me senti de fato jogando o jogo antigo em um grafico mais recente, o que é incrivel e possivelmente o melhor remake já feito juntamente com o remake do 2, para quem é fã do jogo original vai se deliciar com esse jogo.… Expand

Realmente fizera o um ótimo trabalho neste remaike com fizera-o no 2, o jogo e fiel ao original. melhorarão a historia, aprofundarão os personagens, Ex asley, e luiz. melhor compreensão na historia corrigirão alguns furos de enredo. e esta numa temática mais sóbria digo de terror. O único que me deixa a desejar foi o desempenho joguei numa Xbox seres S, comecei a jogar naJogo esta ótimo. O único que me deixa a desejar foi o desempenho joguei numa Xbox seres S, comecei a jogar na atualização 1.5 por mais que teve a atualização, a performasse cai bastante no modo grafico com bastante bug visual. não recomendo jogar nesse modo só se acaso você tiver uma tv com VRR, ajuda bastante. e no modo performasse vai bem a 60, maioria do tempo fica em 60, mais o meu problema fica na imagem nesse modo 1080p mais parece mais um 900p a baixo. não sei mais tive essa sensação. e tipo a tela fica com um borrão que fica difícil de ver. tirando isso o jogo e ótimo 10/10. gostei muito.
    Resultado fina: Se recomendo a você que vai jogar no Series S, Só quando tiver uma boa promoção partir de 100 Reais Brasileiro. O Jogo e bom mais nada de outro mundo. Re jogabilidade você vai ter ate faze (1.000G ). Tipo 4 a 6 jogada pra completar ao 100% depois disso. você larga o jogo. e parte pra outra.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake is an absolute delight. Veterans of the original will love the changes and newcomers can now appreciate just how good this game actually is. Capcom continues the trend of keeping the series fresh in our minds. I cannot wait for the next new entry as well as what remake they do next. Almost guaranteed we will see RE5 next, but Capcom please listen to your fans and give us that Code Veronica remake we so rightly desire. Regardless, fans of the series are eating so good right now.

    Small technicalities aside, Resident Evil 4 on Xbox Series X|S is a wonderfully recreated thrill ride from start to finish. Capcom have struck a perfect balance that should keep both veteran players and newbies happy.
