    Simply ridiculous what has been delivered here, just as ridiculous as what Microsoft is doing with its studios. Arkane could probably do it better, but they seem to be declining under Microsoft. However, in its current state, it's probably good enough for Microsoft to shove it into the Gamepass. Microsoft and the Gamepass are a curse for the gaming world.

    Easily the worst game released in 2023 so far. Arkane have always been a mid studio but they hit a new low with Redfall and the fact Microsoft thought this was ok for release shows you how much they care about gaming, Just awful

    Si soy sincero es una decepción que un juego con un gran potencial sea un completo desastre, Los 30fps en especial en Series S se nota y te arruina la experiencia del juego. Los modelados están sin acabar, se demoran en cargar las texturas. Los NPCs parecen de plastico, las misiones secundarias no tienen proposito.     This is a game that really makes those fake reviews stand out a mile! giving Redfall a 10 out of 10 is just hilarious. Redfall is a complete failure of a game in literally every possible way. Horrible world design with empty lifeless areas, awful dated graphics with no proper textures or detail, which makes the entire game world look like it's graphically not finished yet, like playing anThis is a game that really makes those fake reviews stand out a mile! giving Redfall a 10 out of 10 is just hilarious. Enemy A.I is all over the place and barely functions, combat is dull and repetitive, even your chosen character moves controls like sh*t running feels like sliding along the ground! add to all of this, the mulitude of bugs and awful performance and you have a game that does'nt just feel unfinished, it feels like it's years away from finished at best and even then the foundation of the game is still bad.     This game is absolutely trash. Glitches everywhere. The guns are unusable sometimes, the characters clip under the ground. The graphics are absolute garbage. As an Xbox user this is embarrassing and honestly makes me want to get a PlayStation 5 instead.

    Esto no es Arkane, es un juego genérico en early access que nos lo han colado. Tiene menos futuro que los coches del juego, que de dos disparos a la ventanilla explotan. No entiendo como han sacado esto así en series X, es increíble.

    not the game I expected it to be. What I hoped for was a multiplayer game. There are some side quests that can be found by exploring or speaking to people in your base, but sadly they're basically shorter versions of similar ideas. Even the Safe Houses, which can be found and unlocked in each district of the map, repeat themselves almost immediately. It's soo repetitive.
    The graphics seem    not the game I expected it to be. What I hoped for was a multiplayer game. Xbox needs to step up for rest if it's releases because it looks bad. narrative it's all packaged with is oddly lifeless in its presentation. It's something that comes as quite a shock compared to Arkane's other games. I feel that Fallout 76 was better then this launch.    … Expand

    I wanted to like this game. I really did. I love New England. I love monsters and all manner of creepy eldritch creatures of the night. I like shooters. Everything on paper aligns for a great game. This is not a great game. This is a fundamentally broken game. Plagued by a myriad of bugs, glitches and a generally broken feel, I cannot recommend Redfall in its current state to anyone. II wanted to like this game. I really did. I love New England. I love monsters and all manner of creepy eldritch creatures of the night. I like shooters. Everything on paper aligns for a great game. This is not a great game. This is a fundamentally broken game. Plagued by a myriad of bugs, glitches and a generally broken feel, I cannot recommend Redfall in its current state to anyone.     I couldn't play for a day due to constant disconnect issues. Now I crash to xbox dashboard every so often. The AI is terrible. I just bum rush all of them with a shotgun and it's easy. The graphics seem out of date and animation isn't good. And the cut scenes are not $70 AAA material.

    Killing vampires could be fun if they stopped glitching through buildings, the skill tree could be interesting if half of it wasn't worthless and co-op could be a good time if anyone I knew wanted to play it after they've spent a few hours with it. This is unfinished and the must of    Redfall is an aggressively subpar game that fails to deliver compared to the previous titles from Arkane.

I think this has suffered the same fate as Suicide Squad in pivoting from an always online live service game given how missions are taken on and how, in nearly completing the game, the majority of skills on the skill tree are unobtainable due to a too low a level.

    I liked the idea, it's Arkane it could of been great, it should of been better but it isn't worth your time, not saying it couldn't be pulled around and do a Cyberpunk, but I'm not holding out hope. Genuinely if you find any joy in this game, I do not understand but you do you, but let's not willingly blind ourselves to the glaring, I mean GLARING faults that this game should never of been released with.    … Expand

    This game currently get a lot of trashtalk from "influencers" that rate multiple games a week and still find time to create their content, edit it, etc. I don't believe for a second they finished this game in one day.     Such a bland, joyless and technical mess of a game. If the 2013 graphics don't immediately put you off, the atrocious AI and bugs will. Redfall is endemic of the output from Xbox and MS for the past 10 years almost, stretching back to the XB1. Gems are very few and far inbetween a shoveload of mediocrity and disappointment like this game. I uninstalled after a couple of hours.

    El juego no solo tiene un terrible argumento si no que también se ve terrible, que el desarrollador apunte a gráficos caricaturescos? Esta bien, pero no es escusa para descuidar totalmente el apartado gráfico, texturas, sombras, todo, la verdad se ve el poco empeño que se puso en todo el juego, eso sin hablar de lo terriblemente absurda es la IA

    I always thought Phil, our savior, and the Xbox would rise up and get better under his leadership, but he let us down. First Halo Infinite, then the gamepass price hike, now this, and looking at the way Starfield looks, I don't expect anything good. I should have picked the PS5, but I trusted Phil, who promised us a bright future, and all for nothing

    On the hardest difficulty, you can outsmart the AI by ducking behind any single obstacle. If that wasn't enough, the game looks and runs like crap, has terrible dialogue and voice acting, no cutscenes, and came out about 3 generations too late. This is one of the worst games I've ever played, and the fact that they're charging $70 USD for it is nothing short of insulting. Play anything else.

    No puedes sacar un shooter a 30 fps y encima con problemas de apuntado... si a esto le sumas que el juego no aporta nada y tiene problemas técnicos mal vamos. Parece que xbox se está saboteando a sí misma, otra vez.

    Quand Arkane sait nous faire des Disonhored/ Bioshock/Deathloop... le talent et savoir faire devraient être au rendez-vous.     Disappointing 1st party release for Microsoft. Shoddy CG for story, texture pop-in on the Series X is very noticeable. Performance was poor though setting it to 80 degrees and switching off motion blur helped - but not much. A VRR TV has helped fill in some gaps giving it a more smoother experience. Just a very last-gen game, nothing to show off Xbox's more powerful setup compared to theDisappointing 1st party release for Microsoft.     This is a fundamentally broken game that no amount of patching will fix. Someone at Microsoft should’ve canned this project a long time ago. Broken AI, uninspired world, the npcs talk at you, with not real dialogue, no real cutscenes, nothing that makes an Arkane game an Arkane game.     I bought game on play keep freezing and the graphic bad terrible and story don’t make sense and I did decide and story don’t make sense refund get my money and not worth $70 and the worth $4 and lot problem and vampire crash all map can’t attack and and zombie can’t attack and whole game don’t make sense story and map too short and good day

    The concept is brutal, the result mediocre. A game with simple graphics that would have been worth it if it had good FPS performance and better IA. With the hype that Xbox has given it, I expected much more. Hope they fix it and I can change my score.

    Although RedFall was a much anticipated game that doesn't hide the fact it came out half-baked. A bug fest, fps dipping, faulty Ai, and with a $70 price tag to add salt to the injury. Microsoft sent RedFall out to die without giving it a chance to shine.

    I played for maybe 30 minutes within two minutes I find a dead guy on the ground laying next to another dead guy that looks just like him. I go downstairs I see a delivery truck the logo for it is so blurry it looks like a 640x480 bmp got blown up to 2560x1440 or something. I go outside    What a major disappointment I'm glad I bought both consoles, because Xbox just sucks this generation.

    En serio una consola de 15000$ y te dan tremenda basura de juego y con uno montón de fallos como los FPS que nos prometieron en cada juego de la marca, gráficas del 360 y con un montón de Bugs, el juego es repetivo y súper aburrido, sin mentir esa cosa es injugable.

    Probably one of the worst-made games of 2023. No passion and looked to be built for future microtransactions. I refuse to believe that QA and internal reviewers looked at this and told publishers that this game was ready. Microsoft is 100% to blame for allowing a game like this to release in its current state. Microsoft should have delayed this game an extra 20 years

This is, by far, the worst game I've played in a very long time. All the things the professional critics have said about it -- terrible graphics, braindead AI, awful shooting, terrible mission design, etc -- are all 100% accurate. My recommendation to anyone looking into these reviews is to save time and buy games like Borderlands or Doom or even Duke Nukem 3D, which still look decent, have great AI, fun hooking gameplay, and a rewarding experience. P.S.: I don't blame Microsoft for this because you can't make an AAAI give this game 1 point because I paid for it through my game pass and didn't pay the full price.     A gente consegue achar jogos piores que Redfall. Velozes e furiosos, Rambo etc. A gente não consegue é um jogo tão ruim, cercado de uma expectativa enorme, de um bom estúdio (Arkane) em um período que o Xbox precisava tanto de jogos. Praticamente todos os tipos de problemas estão presentes neste jogo.

    Some good ideas, but I didn't find the point of playing this open world. I stop playing after 4 hours of playing without pleasure.

    The whole game feels like it was written by an Artificial Intelligence. It is shocking how a game this bad can come from arkane studios, the studio behind masterpieces like Prey and Dishonored. This game is honestly everything that is wrong with modern AAA gaming.

    What a mess of a game. From the story, and the glitches, to the horrible AI enemies. The entire game should have been nuked from orbit and started from the ground up. Even if patches could be added later to fix the performance problems, the story and gameplay are not worth your time and energy. There are other games that do what Redfall tried to do better in every way.

    I was waiting to play thinking a patch would address some of the most egregious issues. However, amazingly enough there hasn’t been a peep out of the devs. My gamepass is expiring and Microsoft has given me zero reason to renew so I tried this today. Wow it’s bad, really bad. The issues are well documented in other reviews so I won’t list them all but man I truly can’t believe theyI was waiting to play thinking a patch would address some of the most egregious issues.     The result is a game with no identity of its own. Redfall simultaneously wants to be a looter shooter like Borderlands, in an open world like Fallout's, with action like Dying light and a lengthy multiplayer experience like Destiny. But it fails on all counts. The game environments are bleakly empty, the gameplay is wooden. Like the vampires from the world of Redfall, the game has no soul.

    Sadly, Redfall had unbelievable potential and a dynamic studio behind this that is known for quality gaming, but under delivered at quite literally almost every facet of the game. Redfall, unfortunately, should be avoided, and in fact, I hope that the industry starts taking a look at these games and starts evaluating its processes, because if you're only as good as your last game, then Arkane isn't looking good at all.
