    this quirky game is very cool. Combat is simple but challenging, story is interesting an funny, mental worlds are creative and mysterious, a lot of different characters and activities. I like to use clarvoyance on regular npcs and laugh at what they see. It gives me some vibes from older Harry Potter games, but better.

    Grandísimo juego, los gráficos cartoon no me encantan pero se ve genial. Muy divertido, los diálogos me han parecido lo mejor y gameplay muy fluido. Merece la pena un mes de game pass aunque sea para probar este juego.

    Psychonauts 2 stays true to its roots from the original that came out 15 years ago. The writing still has the same whit that Double Fine is known for and the platforming is creative and mesmerizing. I think the combat was a bit lackluster after a while due to there not being many creative ways fights are utilized, but this game makes up for it with some gorgeous animation. Each level feelsPsychonauts 2 stays true to its roots from the original that came out 15 years ago. The writing still has the same whit that Double Fine is known for and the platforming is creative and mesmerizing.     Not my type of game but it's available on Game Pass and I figured let's give it a shot. Right from the start you can tell this is an absolutely fun game. My 3yo loves watching along while exploring this vibrant world and characters. Not sure about this GOTY year talk but the review bombing is absolutely pathetic.

    Great trip through the imagination. This game made me laugh many times. I am not a fan of platform games but I am enjoying this one very much. If you have Game pass I would give it a try.

Un plataformas de lo más entretenido que poco o nada tiene que envidiar a otros grandes exponentes como Ratchet & Clank: Una dimensión aparte o Super Mario Odyssey. En Psychonauts 2 desarrollarás multitud de habilidades psíquicas para moverte, sortear peligros, atacar, leer mentes, conectar ideas, etc. NoEl regreso de Psychonauts a consolas con su segunda entrega no ha podido ser mejor. Un plataformas de lo más entretenido que poco o nada tiene que envidiar a otros grandes exponentes como Ratchet & Clank: Una dimensión aparte o Super Mario Odyssey. En Psychonauts 2 desarrollarás multitud de habilidades psíquicas para moverte, sortear peligros, atacar, leer mentes, conectar ideas, etc. No os dejéis engañar por su estética que combina lo infantil con películas de Tim Burton: es un plataformas con un trasfondo muy maduro y que trata todo tipo de enfermedades mentales con un toque de humor. No es necesario haber disfrutado de la primera entrega para entender Psychonauts 2, ya que el protagonista te resume los acontecimientos al inicio. En definitiva, un plataformas muy original, adictivo, entretenido y con una historia muy importante. ¡Muy recomendable jugarlo en XBOX Series X|S o PlayStation 5 para disfrutarlo a 60 fps!

    Never played the first game, but tried the second. An extremely well made world with a great hero. The level design and platforming puzzles are very clever and interesting. I like it quite a lot.

    Fun, stylish game with well thought out level design and story. The open world element really allows you to get lost in the world DoubleFine created. This is reinforced with intelligent writing, although aimed at a younger audience, still had lots of mature themes and lines in there which had me laughing.

    Sin duda una de las sorpresas del año, double fine demuestra otra vez, el gran talento que tienen creando videojuegos originales y divertidos. El juego goza de una jugabilidad bastante limpia en Serie X a mi parecer, con casi ningún error encontrado en mis horas de juego más que el volumen de algunas voces y la aparición de subtítulos que reemplazan a unos con otros.

    The game is very addictive and very good, the story is very interesting and has its touch of depth, simple but satisfying gameplay when moving as much as when exploring the scenarios or at the time of the fighting, the protagonist is very charismatic like the characters secondaries.

    Anyway. a great game. 9/10

    Es un buen juego, entretenido, pero no recomiendo esta pagina ya que no es 100% legitima la critica de las personas como las calificaciones, por que aun no teniendo el juego ni a verlo jugado puedes criticar en su contra, Recomiendo irse a Steam ahí solo pueden opinar los que obtuvieron el juego y lo jugaron. ahí podrán ver una critica autentica del juego.

    One of the best games I have played this year, from amazing level design to weird but good looking art style to the funny writing. Everything is perfect. I gave 9 because as a audio guy It would have been nice if the sound design is a little better but thats for Me. Most of the gamers won't even recognize it. A must play.

    Very good game. Story is amazing and I have no issues or complaints, they really landed a lot of the jokes especially. Platforming is really good and in depth with the different abilities you can use to traverse and explore. Bugs aren’t really a problem I haven’t ran into anything again, I’m playing the Xbox Series X version. Only complaint is the combat can feel a bit clunky or mechanicalVery good game. From the graphics to gameplay, it is a super fun game that will make make you play with a smile in the face, the story is super cool and characters are really special and fun. Double Fine pulled an amazing and polish game. It is too sad that sony fanboys, for some werid reasons, are review bombing the user scores. You are rrally pathetic and sad persons.

    A lot of people giving 0 are saying it has no Russian subtitles/no localization. If that's true, that's no reason to give a 0. It's annoying for sure, but not a 0. But the game is amazing! The humor is great, the level concept is amazing, the art style is amazing, and the concepts they cover and how creative they cover them is amazing as well! Every level has a different vibe /style to it. I give it an 9/10 just for the artistry. I thought the story was great but not great enough for me to give it a 10/10.     Microsoft saved this game, it was never going to succeed as a kickstarter funded project. Microsoft's management of the games budget bodes well for future msft releases (fable 4, TES VI).
    Psychonauts 2 is a throwback to Banjo Kazooie era platforming, webbed with not so subtle, yet palatable commentary on common mental health conditions, while remaining fun.

    C’est très intéressant de faire la comparaison entre un Ratchet PS5 qui a été fait avec un cahier des charges hyper précis pour servir exclusivement de vitrines technologiques (et pourtant j’aime cette série à la base) et un Psychonauts 2 fait par « amour ». Le pire étant que les technologies mises en valeur sur Ratchet sont utilisées comme si de rien n’étant dans Psychonauts (les portails).

    Psychonauts 2 is just a great game, full of charm and fun. This is the kind of game that youcan watch somebody play and still have fun, just from watching. The art style respect the first game, the story is a continuation of that story. Raz is a really good character, his Psych abilities are fun to use and to learn. I'll recommend this game to everybody.

    Absolutely amazing fun game that’s filled with character and uniqueness. The level design, characters, and story are all spot on. There’s also quite a bit of collectibles and open world elements that allows for a more nonlinear experiences. One of my favorite games ever and I cannot wait for a 3rd game.

    La pase muy bien, los niveles la historia esa decente ademas recoger todas las piezas se hace algo repetitivo y complicado aveces pero eso es lo que me hace estar mas tiempo en el juego.
    Me tarde 3 meses en terminarlo por temas de trabajo pero lo disfrute mucho.

    The soundtrack is awesome, it adds an excellent dynamic to the game. It portraits well the game atmosphere - naïve, nostalgic and absolutely magical.
    The only major problem that I can see is how inconsistent the graphic is. The locations are beautiful, very cartoony, nice to look at. However, the textures on the characters, especially on their faces are still very off. I know that it was meant to resemble an old-school game, but they look odd comparing to all the rest. Pixelated and just not polished.
    Overall, it's a decent piece of entertainment. A big plus for being able to enjoy the game after completing the main quest - it gives you a good few more hours of gameplay and lets you complete all the side tasks.    … Expand

    I am not giving 10 because it doesn’t have a perfect music as good as the visual art and game.

    I had never heard of the Psychonaughts games before trying this one on Gamepass and I wasn't disappointed. The platforming elements brought me back to my childhood and the story was far better than any platformer that I have ever played. Boss battles were great.

    Really enjoyed this - Amazing art and design, and a satisfying conclusion. Taking a couple points off for some rough transitions between scenes, somewhat lacking overworld content, and dullish combat.. Appreciated the 'god mode' toggle since I got bored with combat.

The story is unexpectedly mature - meaning thematically dimensional, not violent and sex-filled - and a truly new look at mental illness and addiction that manages to stay light-hearted and never makes the sufferer the butt of the joke. The platformingIt's far from perfect, but it's just so colorful, unique, and good-natured. The characters are wonderful, and the world just looks amazing. The story is unexpectedly mature - meaning thematically dimensional, not violent and sex-filled - and a truly new look at mental illness and addiction that manages to stay light-hearted and never makes the sufferer the butt of the joke. The game has some flaws, like having to constantly apply and switch powers mid battle. The character progression also has very limited options.     Awesome game! The writing is hilarious and Tim Schafer remains a creative genius, with amazing art design and aesthetic. The game can feel occasionally "low budget" in its transitions and cutscenes, and combat is sometimes frustrating, but overall, Psychonauts 2 is by far the best platformer on Xbox.

    The story of the game is amazing. it amused me the whole game through with constantly giving me new information and a lot of OOOHHH moments. While I havent played the first game it wasn't hard to get into and I felt invested really quickly. Im not going further into the story because its mostly why you should play this game.

    gameplay on the other hand was a bit boring. While the game is not really heavy focussed on combat or platforming it is okay as you can see the devs putted everything in the artstyle and story which hold this game up perfectly in my opinion. What I liked the most of the gameplay was actually the fact that there is no waypoint. Instead of a waypoint the main character often says where he should go to and you have to memorize where that person or location is. This makes you as the player constantly invested in what is told. Meanwhile if you forgot where to go to or the location where someone is you can also open your menu (a textbook) to read where to go. While this may sounds old and lazy this is in my opinion a lot more fun than just go to point A with a waypoint.

    So why should you play this game? You should play this game if you like the artstyle and want to go on a trip to bizarre worlds with a good story attached to it. if you look for gameplay you should look for somewhere else as psychonauts 2 has not lot to offer in that regard and that is fine.

    Why an 8 out of 10? because the game is good and a masterpiece in its own way but not yet a 9 or a 10 as the gameplay does fall behind from other platformers like to say mario. But this game is for sure a must play and especially a must play from gamepass.    … Expand

    I Rate it 8.7.The creativity is refreshing and keepet me motivated throughout. Some of the mechanics and story transitions are a little unpolished in areas. No major issues, but occasionally I was pulled away from the magic the game casts wondering "why did that just happen?". I love what was created and I think this game will inspire more creativity in future games.

    I Really Love the humor this game and it’s so amazing to finally get a change in gaming especially because the experience of this game was one of the only games to make me ever laugh it’s also not to challenging but I definitely had some frustrating moments! Overall an amazing game and would recommend playing it.

The art is still so pleasing and differently the eyes, with the smart writing and heart this studio always brings to each project.     Levels: the levels are improved with both design and crazy gravity, reality and mind bending aspects. the levels are easily the best part of the game the mind bending designs and unique environmental story design makes each level a deep dive in the characters psyche in a very literal sense. you can understand how a person acts based on their levels and enemies, YES enemies are a psyche that explains their current condition and previous traumas.
    Story: it finishes the story of the two previous games tying up all the knots neatly but...
    Characters: the character in the real world are probably the worst part of this game, the interactions you have with them are limited to some dialog and mission critical dialog the new kids are introduced as a powerful force to be reckoned with but they are sidelined for a majority of the game which is disappointing. the mentors are basically non existent until needed which is a big downgrade from the big mystery in the first game that included them.    … Expand

The game takes a bit of time to get started, but once the hub area opens, the exploration and Self discovery is quite impressive. This game has a very fun puzzle mechanic, but sometimes it becomes very tedious when these puzzles are repeated over and over again, in the colorful mental world (I forgot the name) the puzzles become very repetitive because we need to look for one over and over again. big lighting to create the rainbow bridges, and the boss is also a little cloying, because he appears several times, only in the end you face him, making it something predictable and annoying.     Psychonauts 2 features interesting levels and fun characters, but the constant gameplay-interrupting cutscenes have worn my patience down to the nub. It's a neat game, just know that fun 3D platforming often takes a backseat to story.

    - The platforming itself and movement never felt right. Double Fine games has never been mechanically impressive, but here it hits the hardest. All the other platformers in the market moved the future and this game stayed in the past. The gap is painfully wide.
    - There are also just too many mechanics in the game and none of them are great. You can see how more and more stuff was added over 6 year development span and most of them are mediocre at best. Feels more like an Assassin's Creed game then a Psychonauts one.
    - The levels are also very inconsistent. Both visually and gameplay wise. Some of them (like the Hollis's brain) I didn't enjoy at all.
    - The open-world structure is also gated weirdly. After entering Green Gulch you can't go back to Questionable area, and that prevented me from doing side-quests when I wanted them. And there is no good reason to structure the game this way.    … Expand

    Its a decent little game. I wasnt expecting much going into it and found myself just smiling with the play-style. Its decent but more for a younger crowd. Doesn't mean you cant have a smile and enjoy your time with this game. Give it a shot especially if you have gamepass.

    Psychonauts 2 is pretty great!. Graphics aren't the best but they're pretty decent, especially in the cut scenes. What i strongly disliked is that repeating-look alike missions we had to do. I'm talking about the ones with the bottles & the ones with Cassi'oPia. Also it took me 25 hours & 36 minutes to finish it that was quite unpleasant. Other than these, the game worths it!.

    Psychonauts 1 is the perfect example of the term cult classic, and Psychonauts 2 has created another masterpiece that I am only assuming won’t receive the attention it deserves. They have perfected and expanded on their original idea in every way and created a world full of heart and fun. It’s been well documented that the last few years it took to bake were used to expand the boss battles, and finely polish the areas that were complete. It’s clear that the added funds from being a Microsoft studio were put to good use and the team at Double Fine should be very proud of what they have created. I cannot wait to see what they create next.
