    Very creative art style and level design. No chapter is the same as before with immersive game play and story telling. The combat could be a bit more advanced for me but giving the genre and play style I still give it a 10.

    Not a huge platform genre guy but this game has a really fun story and gameplay. The level designs are beyond creative. I feel bad I got it on gamepass and didn't pay 60 pounds but the perks of xbox I guess. Go play it

    I did not play the original, but about 7 hours in to this I can tell you I will be going back and playing through the original. The story is fantastic and the game play is fun, with a host of mechanics that let you tune to your play style. I'm HOOKED! The game plays smooth and looks fantastic. I feel like I could be a lot further in to the game than I am but I keep going back in to brainsI did not play the original, but about 7 hours in to this I can tell you I will be going back and playing through the original. The story is fantastic and the game play is fun, with a host of mechanics that let you tune to your play style. I'm HOOKED! The game plays smooth and looks fantastic. L'univers, l'histoire, les personnages, le gameplay, les graphismes, l'ambiance sonore ou encore le level design, tout est parfait !     Com Mario Odyssey em 2° lugar na minha lista,esse foi o melhor jogo de plataforma que eu já joguei. Eu gostei da forma que a história foi contada,adorei os cenários e essa característica psicodélica e diferente que eles apresentam. Os diálogos são hilários,e é desafiador coletar tudo. Nota 10!!!

    a great sequel to one of the most creative games in history. Special thanks for the fact that, albeit not immediately, they added support for the Russian language, now you can comfortably immerse yourself in the game.

    Psychonauts 2 is one of the best games I've ever played, the art direction is beautiful the level design is very interesting the voice acting is top notch, the game is screaming with personality and the story is very engaging and memorable.

    i had never hear Psychonauts game before I start playing Psychonauts 2 game. Game is fun to play with game humor was very fun and sharp. When you start playing Psychonauts 2 game you immerse yourself in the game, after a while you will notice that you have played to the end of the game and will be thirsty for DLC or a new Psychonauts game

    Psychonauts 2: es un juego brillante, con un guión exquisito a la altura de las antiguas aventuras gráficas clásicas. La jugabilidad es muy buena. Ojalá algún día veamos un nuevo Monkey Island con el gran Tim Schaffer y el genio de Ron Gilbert.

    I created my account because of this game. It clearly deserved to be a 2021 GOTY contender, and in my mind it should have won. Everything is perfect: platforming, abilities, story, level design.. playing this game was a privilege for me

    Criativo, nunca vi nada parecido. Estão de parabéns Precisamos de mais jogos assim, gráficos poderiam ser melhores, a jogabilidade é muito boa e a evolução do personagem é perfeita jogo de 18 horas tranquilo

    Psychonauts 2 is a work of art in all respects. This is the most fun I have had with any game in a long time. Bravo to Double Fine and Xbox for making this masterpiece.

    De las mejores historias que puedes encontrar, fluido y con sensación de control extraordinaria. Visualmente grandioso, la música es pura magia, con piezas que interpreta el mismísimo Jack Black. Una joya pura y totalmente recomendable.

Then backwards compatibility came along and gave me a chance to play the original again...still didn't do it. So when this game hit, I told myself "PLAY IT!" and I've been doing so for the last week and I don't plan on stopping any time soon (well, unless I'm almost done with the game, but I don'tI loved the first one and never finished it before the Xbox 360 took over my living room. The art is great, the humor is great, the gameplay is great. i loved every minute of the game but took off one point because: some levels don't let you get 100% on the first playthrough of them. Sometimes you don't learn the ability required to get collectibles until much later in the game. Other times, you will enter a room and trigger a cutscene. You can see theA near-masterpiece.     Psychonauts 2 was a nostalgia trip to times when big companies weren't scared of making 3D platformers. This game is fantastic. Team at Double Fine was not scared of taking difficult topics. Art style was great, especially in level which was centered around Jack Black character. Gameplaywise it wasn't very innovative, but it was solid. Fighting is the weakest part, but bosses were creative.

The story is really good and has a really nice pay off at the end and everything is tied together, playing the first isn't mandatory but really helps with things set up in the first. There is a catch-up video if you haven't played it or the Rhombus of Ruin. The gameplay itselfReally interesting, well written game throughout. I like the collectathon aspect but like all collectathon's it's gets irritating when you're missing one figment in a level so as with all I would have like a pin that would make a noise when near one when it was equipped.    … Expand

    I was impressed with how the game manages to not pretend like you magically forgot all of the powers you learned in the first game, you get them all almost instantly with a little hey, remember that thing you can do, that would be helpful here.. as well as introducing new abilities tht make for some interesting puzzles early on..
    And for better or for worse psychonauts 2 feels very much like a PS2 game.. there is no handholding here, The game takes place in a semi open world where you have to find a cast of charcters and enter their minds for the more linear parts of the game.. so you ve to figure out what to do with whatever the previous character told you.. no arrows, no spot marked on the map, just go find them.. but once you do and things get rolling, psychonauts 2 is a blast… now there isn’t as much variety gameplay wise as there was in the first game as you were learning new abilities, so it sticks to straight up 3d platforming with new elements here and there based on the new power, but the game still manages to feel fresh throughout, even throwing you into a cooking show for one level.. and one of my favorite moments when I knew I loved this game was going through this dark forest in search of some bees..
    Theres so much charm here, such a special game..
    My only complaing with Psychonauts 2 is the combat, it just isn’t that fun, you have so many powers but only 4 action buttons so you have to constantly remap depending on certain enemies, and I feel enemies are just so spongy for how much the game asks of you, but there are accessibility optiosn to make you invincible if youre just over a section or don’t care to deal with the annoying combat, but definitely turn this off for boss battles, because these moments are really fun and special and youll be missing out not giving them your all.
    Psychonauts 2 is a really special game full of charm and humor.

Imagine being such a miserable human being that you review bomb a game you didn't even play because its owned by you're chosen piece of plastic's competitor and they didn't spend money to give you a next generation version. Falls kein dritter Teil käme ist somit ein runder Abschluss gewährleistet. Das Gameplay ist viel besser als noch in Teil 1. Trotzdem gibt es noch einige Probleme im Gameplay. Die Auswahl der Fähigkeiten ist ein Krampf, da man meist nur die Fähigkeiten ausrüstet,Ich bekam genau das was ich mir gewünscht habe. Mehr Psychonauts. Die Story wurde super weitererzählt und auch zu Ende erzählt. Falls kein dritter Teil käme ist somit ein runder Abschluss gewährleistet. Das Gameplay ist viel besser als noch in Teil 1.     Un gran juego que cuenta una gran y elaborada historia, tiene un asombroso universo lleno de coleccionables llamativos y una buena jugabilidad, Un ligero problema que cabe mencionar es la cámara que puede presentar un poco de molestias pero sin duda es un muy fuerte contendiente para el GOTY de este año.

    They put love, it is not a difficult game as gameplay, but it is a great story, they develop all characters quite well and talk about real issues of people behavior and personality, quite deep subjects, which I enjoyed to play and I explore, it is a must play

    This game rocks, simple as that. The creativity in the theming and design of the levels is just jaw-dropping; the writing, story, and characters are streets ahead of the typical modern AAA drivel; and the game looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous.

    Had to subtract one point because, unfortunately, the combat and platforming can still be pretty clunky at times. But all in all, this is    This game rocks, simple as that. The creativity in the theming and design of the levels is just jaw-dropping; the writing, story, and characters are streets ahead of the typical modern AAA drivel; and the game looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous.

    Had to subtract one point because, unfortunately, the combat and platforming can still be pretty clunky at times. But all in all, this is definitely a strong contender for my GOTY. If you have Game Pass, you should definitely give this a try. If you don't have Game Pass, but you're into 3D platformers and/or like surrealism and games that do something different, you can't go wrong here.

    This is by FAR the most unique game I have played, maybe ever.. It is phenomenal. The fantasy behind it is limitless. No two levels are alike. It is Persona 5 (castles) on steroids. The mind levels are beyond description. Characters are cartoonish and lovable and the story bizarre AF.

    P.S.:If you don't like platformers you will have a hard time.

    At first, I really did not like this game; unfortunately it has a very slow start and I found myself nearly deleting it after the first 2 or so hours, but once it picks up it becomes incredibly addictive and does not seem to lose steam after that. The game mechanics are simple yet fun - you control a wheel of abilities to utilize in any situation - the game is predominantly combat, puzzles, and platforming - all of which force you to use your abilities in smart ways. The mechanics are nothing special, but they work well. Also, if you're playing on Series X, the game itself looks amazing.

    Each stage tackles delving into someone's mind and trying to "rewire" it to fix them as you battle their mental struggles such as feelings of judgement, risk, panic, and more. These stages are where the game shines most - the fast-paced gameplay gets addicting really quickly. Every stage feels unique in its own way and they always bring something new to the table. The game feels like a kids game in a lot of parts, but it doesn't shy away from difficult sections as well as delving into mature topics once in a while. Unfortunately, in my opinion the game suffers from the slowness of cutscenes and a sense that a story is being 'forced' - the beginning of the game is a lot of cutscenes and story-building, which is exactly why I was so turned off to begin with; my main criticism would be that this game should try to speed certain story sections up when it begins to drag.

    All in all, this game is very solid and I'm disappointed to see it being review-bombed. It's gems like these that make me happy to keep my Gamepass subscription.

    Again, if you have Gamepass, it's a definite download - if not, know what you're getting into before buying it since this game certainly won't be for everyone.    … Expand

    The characters are amazingly charming weird funny lovable. The story kept me hooked and the platforming was so easy. It grew harder but you grew with new powers to traverse thru the worlds.

    Psychonauts is back with Rasputin in the lead and Right at the time the first game left off. Humorous and “Burtonesque” type graphics (as if they were designed for a Tim Burton movie). The Transitions of worlds is spectacular without so much drama or inventions of Magical-comic-musical SSD. The sound effects are well done. Boss fights will leave you speechless (not all)

    Some skills are very useless. It is not for a child audience. The platform mechanics feel very 'New old school' type N64. Some worlds can be very strong and emotionally impactful with many eyes and holes or gloomy like the dentist. The soundtrack could have been better. It is a difficult game to see/watch

    Lo Meh:
    It feels like a continuation (which never came) back in 2005. A lot of criticism of the character and world design, but if this had been done by a certain Tim Burton they would be praising the project in a thousand ways.     Great game, with a lot of amusingly weird levels (the "sixties one" comes to mind, as well as the "theme park ride"), and also a great soundtrack to accompany it all.
    Only minor negative I could mention is that towards to end it begins to get a little bit repetitive, but that is just about it.

    A soul's game this is not. A little on the easy side for me but it is still incredibly fun. The story is hilarious and keeps you interested and there are enough mechanics/collectibles that ensure you are invested until the end.

    This is the most creative and fun platformer I’ve played in a vary long time. Every single level is beautifully crafted and completely insane. I’ve enjoyed every bit of it and truly hope we don’t have to wait another 16 years to see a sequel. Great job Doublefine, obsolete masterpiece of a game you’ve made.

    This game should have been the GOTY. Its gameplay is so smooth and responsive, the art style is amongst the best of all time, its characters are iconic and memorable, and the levels are clearly made with passion. This game's storyline is one of the best I've ever seen in any medium.

    Game is SO fun! It has a lot of stuff to explore, interesting characters and locations, plot is intriguing. Almost no bugs, I got stuck in betweeen textures like once, and collecable's menu brokes sometimes, but nothing critical. It is THE sequel, exactly like it should've been, I'am a fan of the first game and I had a blast playing the sequel

    Just ended the game, and I am incredibly happy for double fine, they have pull out an incredible, funny and unique game. This only makes me want a third part of the adventure and replay the first one. The music was mostly normal, except for Jack Black song, it is definitely one of my favorite song today.

    Años si probar un juego plataformero que me diera la sensación que me ha dejado psychonauts 2. Una creatividad en los escenarios, una historia con un humor crudo y gameplays que sorprende. Cada mundo es diferente, para mí debería ser goty o estar en el listado.

    Juegazo!!. Al principio parece poca cosa, pero cuando te pones a jugar engancha y ya no quieres soltar el mando. Hay momentos donde no es apto para niños, ya que su historia es muchas veces un poco macabra. Juegalo si o sí, es una maravilla.

    Psychonauts 2 managed to restore my faith in the genre of 3D platformers. This is a creative volcano spewing ideas left and right - it can make you laugh, it can make you cry, it can make you think. And it will definitely make you have fun.

    Psychonauts 1 is the perfect example of the term cult classic, and Psychonauts 2 has created another masterpiece that I am only assuming won’t receive the attention it deserves. They have perfected and expanded on their original idea in every way and created a world full of heart and fun. It’s been well documented that the last few years it took to bake were used to expand the boss battles, and finely polish the areas that were complete. It’s clear that the added funds from being a Microsoft studio were put to good use and the team at Double Fine should be very proud of what they have created. I cannot wait to see what they create next.
