    the best JRPG I've probably ever played. It's a long haul but boy is it fun. The cast of characters is going to be hard to top in the next installment.

    Purtroppo il gioco ha un'enorme parte da "simulatore di vita", in cui il giocatore è costretto a sorbirsi interminabili, noiose e tediose attività (del tipo "riordina la camera", "leggi il libro", "va a correre con l'amico"), che diluisce drasticamente la parte più interessante del gioco, cioè i dungeon (chiamati qui "Palazzi"), e il gameplay vero e proprio.

    Insomma, si attendono a volte ore nella speranza di poter iniziare a giocare, ad esplorare un dungeon.

    La mia valutazione è soggettiva, e, pur comprendendo che per molti questo titolo possa essere un capolavoro, purtroppo il genere da simulatore di vita è per me molto pesante, insostenibile.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have a love/hate relationship with this game. First the good things. It has fun game mechanics, creative art style, well written characters, good music, and pretty good voice acting,

    I'm neutral on the story. It was sort of interesting but ultimately ridiculous.

    But what really drags this game down is that it doesn't respect your time. It can be extremely tedious. There were several long (hour+) sections of story exposition where I felt trapped. I wanted to take a break from the game, but I couldn't because I couldn't save.

    *Spoiler Alert* And then there is the way the game ends. Or actually the way the game doesn't end when it should have. I have never played vanilla Persona 5, and I suspect this problem might be unique to the Royal addition. But I've spent the last 5 hours thinking this game was about to end. I beat the God-like boss, and it feels like the game should have ended there or shortly after. But it doesn't. It just drags on and on. And now I'm suddenly in an alternate reality where Morgana the cat is now my big brother, and there is a new palace to take on. But I'm not interested in continuing.

    So I played this game for 100+ hours, and now I'm quitting it early. I loved half of it and hated half of it, and I don't have the will to see it through to the end. And I may never play another Atlus game again. There is a lot to love, but it isn't worth the aggravation.    … Expand

    So glad Xbox got this beloved jrpg franchise. Its just the beginning. Xbox needs more of these facinating japanese games and more. Xbox for Japan!

    A fantastic JRPG with lots of mechanics to master. I also enjoy the talking and after school activities as they are a welcome break from the battles. Add the stylish presentation and soundtrack and you have a Game that stands out. It has no in game Shop and is a Single player experience which in my view makes this game also a great fun

    As someone who was not played any other persona games before, this was a good pick up for the cash and help up to its reputation quite well. The story is very long (somewhere around 100hrs including the 3rd semester) and gives a lot of content for that reason. Though I will say it gets a little repetitive though the end and perhaps predictable, but over I enjoyed it. One gripe I do haveAs someone who was not played any other persona games before, this was a good pick up for the cash and help up to its reputation quite well. Though I will say it gets a little repetitive though the end and perhaps predictable, but over I enjoyed it. One gripe I do have about this game is the dialogue can get very repetitive, often restating the obvious which gets frustrating and almost cringy at times. However overall the story is still good and engaging.
    The gameplay its self is quite good. The gameplay loop of going around palaces and fighting shadows is fun and doesn't get too repetitive through out the game as new challenges or abilities change up the gameplay. Small note: the games difficulty level is surprising good (If you aren't power leveling). I played it on medium and it actually had good challenge.
    My favorite part of the game has got to be the music and art direction. It's definitely the best in any game I've played so far. 10/10 Whilst it may be minor all the little menus and the animations in the persona powers all felt fitting and unique, and definitely enhanced my play experience.
    Last note: Played this on the xbox series s, had 0 crashes or major bugs, ran without issue.
    Overall it's about an 8.5-9, not perfect but great.

    The main story and the characters are the worst of the franchise. The plot it's so cool but the 110 hours of game aren't so.

    Best JRPG game since Final Fantasy 7, from the story telling with very personal characters that make you care about then, fun turn-based combats, relationship mechanics, cool artstyle and those music that you will listen to years to come, this game is simply a perfection.

    un juego increible, no conocia mucho sobre los juegos de combate por turnos y con este y otro titulo empezo un poco mi adiccion a otros titulos de combate por turnos. En general combina todo muy bien para que a pesar de que dure mucho te mantenga entretenido.

    Story is amazing but it's too long. Gameplay mechanics are kinda boring due to it's a JRPG. I've already completed %100 and i don't think i will not play again.

    one of the best RPGs ive ever played, and while some systems were a bit tedious they tended to pay out quite well, like the social stats, they took forever to level up, but wow did they pay off.

    Persona 5 royal is easily the greatest rpg of all time.
    There are so many mechanics such as the baton pass and negotiation that just make every battle feel so stylish and cool. Persona 5 royal’s story is amazing with how much they made the characters in your party feel like real friends. Something I love about this game is how the story exposes some of society’s horrible things and showing    Persona 5 royal is easily the greatest rpg of all time.

    This is a really good the story is amazing and to all those people saying this games is bad I can understand that but don't go attacking the people that play the game and say they are perverted if the game was that bad it would be band I am someone that hates fan service but I love this game the story is great

    It’s fine. There are too many systems to keep track of and a whole hell of a lot of talking. Uninstalled when I finally admitted to myself I was only playing for the hot anime girls.

    To think this is what we missed out on all those years ago good god this is rubbish I played this on gamepass and it's rubbish with shert animations to that look like the cartoons got far tomuch grain filter it would look better without the grain in the anime cutscenes also the long talking scenes made me Goto sleep at times boring

    Here are the positives. - Style and substance: this game is so stylistic and artistic, it is beautiful to look at. Just the menu screen alone makes a statement. - The characters: the characters are brilliant, getting to know them all, helping them through their problems, and seeing how their arcs finish is so satisfying, I got misty eyed    A Massive Masterpiece This game blew me away!

    Here are the positives.

    - Style and substance: this game is so stylistic and artistic, it is beautiful to look at. Just the menu screen alone makes a statement.

    - The characters: the characters are brilliant, getting to know them all, helping them through their problems, and seeing how their arcs finish is so satisfying, I got misty eyed multiple times during this game.

    - The story: what a crazy story with so many great twists and turns! Make sure you do what is required for the true ending, it adds another 30 hours of content and gives you the best story beats!

    - The combat: I love the combat in this game. This might be the most fluid feeling turn based combat system I've ever played! It feels so good and you can get so much momentum!

    - The game design and mechanics: everything you do has purpose. For instance if you go hand out with one of the other characters in the game and progress their arc you gain perks for combat or access to the side mini games that gives you consumable items for combat. So even your social endeavors connects to and benefits your combat in a meaningful way because those perks come from the fact that your bonded with another character and that is represented in combat dialogue even! It's brilliant!

    Negatives
    - the final boss of the bank palace is horribly unbalanced.

    - the 8th palace is too long and drags on and on.

    - some of the palaces can just feel grindy.

    This game is brilliant and you need to play it! JRPG lover or not! Give it a go it's on gamepass even! Also one more note make sure you get the Royal true ending, it is worth it and gives you way more content, with that special ending expect a 120 hour plus play through!    … Expand

    This is an amazing game to play for hours and hours. Soo much story, dialogue and great mechanics for gameplay. I could play this on my ps5, but a JRPG on Xbox just feels unique. in my opinion the Xbox series S/X is the best place to play on for P5!

    The improved storytelling and the additions Royal has, compared to the original game, is a true gift to all owners of modern platforms. Possibly due to the Phantom Thieves stealing the hearts of Atlus executives, a big audience can now dive into one of the best JRPGs out there, with hours of an immersive story and a refined gameplay that has built onto its past foundations and brings with it the promise of an exciting future.

    Persona 5 Royal is easily one of the best JRPGs on Xbox, which isn’t bad for a game that originally came out in 2019! A perfect blend of real-world shenanigans, mixed with some intense dungeon-crawling sections, and put together in one of the most perfectly presented packages in video games - what’s not to love? Buy it, play it on Game Pass... just make sure you experience it.

    Persona 5 Royal is as close to the perfect RPG as I have played in a long time. Not since the heady days of Final Fantasy VII will a game grip you so fiercely, refusing to let go. It is deep, it is beautiful and it demands to be played.
