    Reminds me of the old Underground 2 times. Good vibes! This is a solid entry! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys banging music with some good arcade driving

    Need for Speed Unbound is probably the best nfs has been in years. Criterion’s return to the franchise is a strong one. This game certainly has problems but it’s surely better and more polished than anything Ghost Games ever made. The issues it has mainly boil down to repetitive design, boring map design and a terrible police system.     The game is pretty good despite it does have some problems with the drifting physics and a couple of other small things but besides that it’s a great game and I think it’s better than heat

    While by no means perfect, Criterion's put the franchise back on the road with NFS Unbound. Oozing with originality, and giving players their fix however they want to play (whether in story mode, online, customizing cars, or outrunning the cops), Need for Speed Unbound is the strongest outing the series has had to date since Criterion's Hot Pursuit entry in 2010.

    Can't complain a lot, apart from the lack of cops in online. Devs suggested it will be sorted out later, so we wait.

    This is a great NFS game and it’s been a long time since I have said that. This really reminds me of NFS underground on the PS2 but obviously better looking but just as fun. The cell shaded graphics over the cars and characters looks nice in real life (I wasn’t sure about it at first) and the sound effects and crashes look cool too. My only gripe with the game is that music doesn’tThis is a great NFS game and it’s been a long time since I have said that. A minor gripe but I hope they change this or give us an option to turn it on or off. A word of warning, when you first start playing drifting can feel stiff. Stick with it and you can soon adjust and upgrade suspension and brakes to where they need to be.… Expand

    Watching gameplay of this game you might not like the visual effects, and the characters art style, just as I didn't before I played the game, but I gotta say that I love it now, the visual effects only enhance the gameplay in my opinion and never feel out of place, aswell as the characters, despite them being cartoons and the world around them being realistic. The physics are better than in previous titles, aswell as the racing side, personally I don't think there is one single aspect in which this title is inferior to NFS Heat or any other previous games.     I played it and it feels like a completely different game, it's not those dull NSF with terrible physics, it's something else. I like the effects here, but you usually don't notice them and get used to it in a couple of minutes of playing. As for me, this is the best nsf at the moment

    Love the story driven progress system. The aesthetic and the music of the game mixes so well like Most Wanted did. Game plays really well too, cars don’t feel like they’re floating and the AI is challenging. First NFS in a long time i’m enjoying so much. Hope they keep up the quality content for this generation consoles

    The risk/reward loop and actually satisfying arcade physics is addictive. The difficulty where restarts are limited and you have to stay alive from the cops to bank your cash makes events interesting where you don't win everytime. It's also one of a few racers that have a decent sense of progression.

Unfortunately, the police races have become rather annoying, especially in the open game world. On the other hand, the soundtrack and the controls are very convincing. Unfortunately, the technology could have been better. Perhaps the developers will useOn the whole, "Need for Speed Unbound" is a good spin-off of the series.     I had fun playing this game, same with NFS Heat. Heat did a lot of things right.

    The art style and music was great. I like being introduced to new music, even though some were **** but it was new and exiting.     NFS is going in a good direction. NFS could return to form if they continue to improve on the gameplay mechanics.

    Graphics were exceptional. Gameplay is exciting. Cop chases are fun. But heat had tougher cops, which I enjoyed more. AI is pretty good.

    It is plain fun. Keep your mind open, and you might enjoy it.

    Rydell and Yaz are my bffs. Tess is weird.

    This game has so much character. Not seen this since NFS Most Wanted and Carbon.

    By far one of the best NFS i played, peoples mostly complain about the style but i cant understand why. Finally we have a nfs with acceptable controls, great character design and unique gameplay elements despite some of them are from Heat. Sadly here you can rate games without playing it because all i see is peoples crying about a game that they never play. Simple, fast-paced and fun gameplay, an excellent fleet of cars with an incredible car customization system, both on an aesthetic and engine level. There are many races and events, and the open world map, although a little anonymous, still manages to host adrenaline-filled races. TheThe criticisms of this game are exaggerated as it has everything you could want from an arcade racing game. Simple, fast-paced and fun gameplay, an excellent fleet of cars with an incredible car customization system, both on an aesthetic and engine level.     The best Need for Speed title in a long time, Unbound has such a fun gameplay loop and funky style that it's hard to put down. It has a hard difficulty and slightly odd game feel, but most players of racing games will have a blast here and probably fall in love with the chaotic and frantic police chases. Pick this up!

    The aspiration of returning to the series' most successful titles is evident here. Illegal races, over-the-top tuning, a specific but fitting soundtrack, an open world, and police chases. It's not outright bad, but it could be a lot better. I would have liked more variety as well. I'm definitely positive about the elements that gave the game a unique identity. [Issue#325]

    Need For Speed Unbound, even at its launch, is certainly rather packed with content. The story sees the player throughout 4 weeks of days and nights throughout many events, some mandatory and most optional, with players always being able to decide how many seen-before events they wanna rush through again for some extra cash. With tons of unlockable and upgradable cars, a robust if uninspired multiplayer and an open world with plenty of things to do, Unbound’s unlikely to last you less than a couple dozen hours, unless you get bored before the end credits of course. But boredom isn’t what I’d associate with the latest installment in this everlasting franchise: Need For Speed has found its identity, and while a few concepts require some finetuning, it’s the best episode in a long while and one of the most stylish and generally finest racers of the generation thus far.
