    MultiVersus will provide a great time! The deep gameplay systems, fun characters and overflow of game modes to play with makes it much more than just a platform fighter, although some issues with monetization hold it back from reaching its heights.

    At launch, MultiVersus is a little more bare bones than some might have hoped, but the game has an incredibly bright future. Season 1 alone is set to add at least four new characters to the roster, and leaks have revealed more new MultiVersus characters that are likely on the way. Fans finally have a viable alternative to Super Smash Bros., and it will be exciting to see how it evolves from here.

The title’s focus on gripping 2v2 matchmaking that rewards careful collaboration elevates MultiVersus above nearly every other sub-genre contender.

    MultiVersus, currently in Beta but already available, enters the ring with a gameplay accessible to all, a bit technical and immediately fun. It provides the show with its five-star cast and colorful artistic direction. The number of characters is still low and the clashes are sometimes rough, yet this does not prevent the title of Player First Games from doing well. The Free to Play economic model could well put off some fighting game aficionados while by being a ready-made gateway for neophytes wishing to discover the genre.

    Multiversus is what it is and does not pretend to be more than what it offers. It is a free to play title that returns after an extensive hiatus, with a new opportunity to enjoy these beloved stars that surround us and will present us with moments of chaos and fun.

    I'm glad that MultiVersus is back again. It's a damn fun multiplayer game, though I feel Player First Games and Warner have made it strangely difficult for themselves. Removing things from the beta (which was criticized for having too little content) just feels odd and the fact that the netcode is no better than it was, is beyond comprehension.

    MultiVersus is a decent game that can certainly appeal to some. At the same time, it doesn't offer enough to hold the average gamer's attention for more than a few evenings. It's a game for “big” consoles and PCs, but it uses mechanisms associated with mobile games and requires a lot of grind - or real money.

    A great game. Platform fighter. The only thing that needs to be worked on is some characters like Velma being too annoying and OP. Other thanA great game. Platform fighter. Other than that the game can just get better by adding more cool characters which so far everytime they added one they were a nice addition. The gameplay is really fun and easy to get into if you’re good at games. They have many different modes which is good. At some point they should add the flash and green arrow. The game is only bad when you’re lagging. So if your WiFi isn’t the greatest then I’m sorry. But you could also just play local or against bots, so you still have fun options.
