    Not a fan of sports games but this one is actually decent. Way better than Madden or Fifa.

    The developers managed a damn good tee with "MLB The Show 21" on Xbox Series X. Thus, Sony San Diego created a playfully interesting title, especially the graphical performance and also the new and revised ball physics makes the title a playable dream for fans.     Still great, easy reccomend for baseball diehards. The best addition this year is the perfect-perfect pitching. Stadium creator is good, but therre are a lot of restrictions, and not many people are playing in them on online modes. Hitting is harder this year because of improved pitching command because of perfect perfect pitching, and also check swings require skill this year to notStill great, easy reccomend for baseball diehards.     Love the game. This is the first time playing it since it's on Gamepass. I love the way they reward the players. I hope other games can reward you as many as this game does. Solid.

    So impressions from a first time player of the series: MLB the Show 21 is an excellent game. Yes, there are microtransactions, yes, if you play the Diamond Dynasty "Card" game you will have to grind. Good news? Contrary to the other sports game contemporaries the game is actually fun, and there are such a myriad of game modes for grinding, most are genuinely fun and addictive, andSo impressions from a first time player of the series: MLB the Show 21 is an excellent game. Contrary to the other sports game contemporaries the game is actually fun, and there are such a myriad of game modes for grinding, most are genuinely fun and addictive, and microtransaction purchases are not advertised and completely unnecessary to enjoy the game. Online you will be matched with other players of your skill level, the Battle Royal mode completely eliminates pay to win by giving everyone equal talent cards. I've played the online modes and only noticed janky or laggy experience once, when I was playing while downloading another game. Gameplay-wise the game is fantastic. The batter-pitcher duel is recreated brilliantly, dynamic difficulty allow you to learn the game at your own pace. There are a plethora of option to tweak the gameplay to your liking, different pitching modes, different hitting interfaces, there is immediate feedback for both hitting and pitching which indicate how and where you are missing or mistiming either the pitch release or the swing. Fielding works pretty well, the only qualm I have, like with every other baseball game I've ever played is that baserunning is not very enjoyable or intuitive. One of these days we'll get a game that nails baserunning but this one ain't it yet. Overall the game is the best offering from any of the major sports offerings by a mile. If you are a first time player and like baseball you'll love this game.… Expand

    What a great game for xbox gamepass!! The Xbox Series X version has higher framerates and higher resolutions than the playstation 5 version and the best part it's on gamepass while the Sony fantasy gotta pay 70 bucks to play the game.

    Beautiful game, more of what you are used to from previous MLBs but more refined. If you have played previous games you now what to expect and if you are new to the franchise it is easy to pick up and get stuck in. Lots of fun to play and if you have game pass, give it a go what have you got to lose?

    Literally the best baseball game I've played in the past decade! It plays very smooth which is fantastic! It's better than any other sports game that's out there! (Except Forza)

    Absolutely worth it. I am new to baseball and didn't understand a thing that was going on but it was really fun. I am going to spend more hours learning how the score and innings work to be able to get the best experience.

    Great job Sony San Diego, and thanks to MLB for adding this on gamepass day .

    I like it. Having really not played a baseball game on xbox besides sluggers or whatever, this game is beautiful. I haven’t experienced an issue with the game. I did not buy it. I’ve only played it on my xbox series x and old android phone via xCloud. I prefer the console version. Due to being a beginner I chose to play on simple settings. I’m enjoying myself so far with pitching, battingI like it. Having really not played a baseball game on xbox besides sluggers or whatever, this game is beautiful. I haven’t experienced an issue with the game. I did not buy it. I’ve only played it on my xbox series x and old android phone via xCloud. I prefer the console version.     I've played it on my PS5 but the performance is so bad and it crashes a lot, but it runs flawlessly on my Xbox
    you can even try it on Gamepass if you are in doubt, unlike PS5 you have to pay 70$ to find out if you liked it or not.    … Expand

    Sony fanboys are divebombing the reviews don't look at them - I last played the Show in 2017 on PS4 and have been waiting for a baseball game on Xbox forever! Sony San Diego knocked it out of the park again with this years game! The show is the best sports sim out there hands down!     Smooth as glass! Picked it up on GP, such a great deal to have for my sub fee! The graphics look great and on SX it performs SOOOO good! Seriously, Knocked it out of the park!

    I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this. I'm not a huge sports game fan but have been trying it out on gamepass so this was an easy get.

    The game is great finally a propper Baseball game on the Xbox it works very well on both Xbox Series X and Base Xbox One i wouldn't believe all these 0 reviewes which comes from salty fanboys Metacritic should do something about it.

    MLB The Show 21 is a refined and satisfying baseball experience, plus it's fully accessible to fans and those looking to get into the sport alike. Things like Stadium Creator and that the game runs at 4K and 60 FPS are something we can all appreciate. Visually there can be no significant leap from its predecessor. Also, while it includes some major gameplay updates, it took more effort in this regard.
