    It was the most high-five game I've ever played. It has pretty good level designs and boss fights. The music was incredible. The action was 10/10. I played this game with my cousin. We had fun just like when we were kids. It was quite a great experience. Please make more good games like this. Love you guys! You are the BEST!

    Not much to say but after playing thus game I see why it won GOTY 2021, it's the most unique multiplayer experience I've ever had.

    Played this with the wife. An insane kitchen sink of game mechanics and differentiation - it's just one new thing after the next, to a fault. Everything is GOOD, but nothing is super great. We're close to the end, but not quite done yet. Who's idea was it to make the characters total freakin' wankers that we both can't stand? For some reason, I forgot to just skip all the scenes until pretty close to the end. I would never play this game again. Super brought down by two terrible people we are supposed to care about. As I told the wife, this game only has one good ending to me, and I'm not going to get it - a horrible death to both parents. We're surely going to get the ramshackle, "we're determined to make this work for our dumb kid" ending - BIG MISTAKE, based on people I know that grew up with parents that did similar things.… Expand

Wo soll ich anfangen,dieses spiel gehört zu den besten und abwechlungreichten spielen überhaupt vor allen was koop angeht weil mit freunden ist es ein Meisterwerk egal op die Geschichte mit den viel gut geschribenen Charakteren oder die handlung selbst einfach geil ein Romance an 2 eltern die wieder zusammen kommen müssen und das feuer für die liebe wieder kochen lassen müssen einfach schön dazu kommt die tolle und wunderschöne Grafik mit tollen sound,tollen mini spiele und wahnsinnige durchdachte Rätzeln.Und jezt zum größten stärke des spiel und zwar die abwechslungsreiche mission egal op schnee landschaften bis hin zum garten,kinderzimmer oder auch Himmel es ist einfach für jeden was dabei und zusammen spielen mit den online partner ist nahezu perfekt aufanander abgestimmt.und das wegen ein muss an koop spieler… Expand

    Beautiful game for two. One of the best mechanics ever that amaze me with every level. There's so many moments from this game that I would like to be expanded, but then ended and gave me a desire for more. Must play!

    The game is silly
    Its a great game to play with a friend, i had such a fun time with him and would recommend to only play this game with somebody you know instead of a random.
    The gameplay is very goo and is by far one of the best platforming games ive ever played.
    I would highly recommend to anybody

    Played this with my girlfriend. Probably the most effort I’ve seen a game go into level designs just to sprint through them in 10 seconds. Definitely a very simple game for casual gamers which I understand due to its nature. This game is basically a single play through, almost like watching a movie play out. Short and sweet.

    One of the best cooperative gaming experiences of my life. My wife, who is not a gamer, at all, actually played this with me and had so much fun! After nearly 15 years of marriage this game just might turn her into a gamer. A masterpiece of a game!

    Overall, this game is fun. However, I do think that the game can be way too easy, and many of the cutscenes are just... bad.     Played this game every night for like two weeks with my wife, and she loved the **** out of it. It was a lot of fun, and I love couch coop games for the way they get my wife to take part in my favorite hobby with me.

    Honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've had. Mainly because I've rarely if ever played games with my girlfriend. We jumped on it without knowing anything, and we both had such an amazing experience she is now more open to gaming

I don't really know who is this game made for - because I'm pretty sure it's not for kids due to some rather unsettling scenes (killing plushies that beg for their life, for instance). The writing and the story itself is far to weak to make adults feel involved. The talking love book spills only sentences that are so banal and cliché that there's no way that this can be convincing, even for a couple that is ignorant, selfish and crippled emotionally, like our Cody and May.
    My biggest complaint to the story is the fact that it teaches kids that they are or can be responsible for fixing their parents marriage. This is a harmful psychological process called parentification and it should not be presented in a positive way ("and they lived happily ever after").
    Graphics and music are quite pleasant to the eye and ear and that's why I rated this game so high.    … Expand

    As soon as I saw the trailer for "It Takes Two" by "Hazelight Studios", I immediately knew - this is going to be a co-op masterpiece, and I will play it with my wife! And so it happened. Adventure games have always been in demand in the gaming market, but there has always been an acute shortage of cooperative games, especially in recent years. And this game is a co-op adventure of theAs soon as I saw the trailer for "It Takes Two" by "Hazelight Studios", I immediately knew - this is going to be a co-op masterpiece, and I will play it with my wife! And so it happened. Adventure games have always been in demand in the gaming market, but there has always been an acute shortage of cooperative games, especially in recent years. And this game is a co-op adventure of the highest level!

    Perhaps the only downside to this game is the script. And all the dialogue in the game + some of the scenes that follow from that. I haven't listened to such incompetent dialogue in a long time. Moreover, 90% of the cutscenes consist of chatter about nothing, with dull and boring characters with far-fetched problems.

    But other than that, the game is great. Excellent cooperative gameplay, where each of the two players has a unique role (there is replay value), a lot of mini-games, each level gives new game mechanics, something is constantly changing in the game, while there is always time for fierce battles, and for puzzle solutions for both platforming and crazy rollercoaster rides! In general, in terms of gameplay for the cooperative - everything is super! Glory to Ukraine!    … Expand

    It Takes Two is the magnum opus not only of Hazelight Studios but of co-op experiences in general. It’s one of those extremely rare games that it’s almost impossible to find a fault to any of its elements, be it the longevity, gameplay, art direction, music, boss fights, environmental puzzles, innovation etc. A truly flawless experience.

    It Takes Two can be considered one of the best games in the history of Co-Op genre, one that takes it above and beyond video games, animations and even Hollywood movies in terms of emotional relationships.
