    Halo Infinite is the best Halo game 343 industries has released, and a return to form for the franchise.

    CAMPAIGN: PROS - Open world is an interesting addition to the series. - Solid characters, main story, and side content. - Incredible and nostalgic soundtrack & overall atmosphere. - Good sense of character progression. - Gameplay and sandbox are great. CAMPAIGN: CONS - No    Halo Infinite is the best Halo game 343 industries has released, and a return to form for the franchise.

    CAMPAIGN: PROS
    - Open world is an interesting addition to the series.
    - Solid characters, main story, and side content.
    - Incredible and nostalgic soundtrack & overall atmosphere.
    - Good sense of character progression.
    - Gameplay and sandbox are great.

    CAMPAIGN: CONS
    - No Co-op until next year.
    - Open world in a Halo game might not be for everyone. As a direct/indirect consequence, some side missions may feel repetitive.
    - The environment (biomes) does look similar, it would have been interesting to see more diverse areas.

    MULTIPLAYER: PROS
    - The best Halo multiplayer experience since Halo 3.
    - Gameplay is strong and there is a good variety of guns. The sandbox feels great, and the Halo triforce (guns, granades, and melee) has received a fourth piece in the forms of power-ups like the grapplehook, which feel great.
    - Maps at release are enjoyable.
    - It is free and quite accessible.
    - Characters (Spartans) look good and feel like they belong in a Halo game.

    MULTIPLAYER: CONS
    - Available playlists are very limited.
    - Battlepass progression is unnecessarily grindy. There should also be a separate progression system, apart from the Ranked Match playlist.
    - While the maps are great, there should be more variety (e.g., Big Team Battle maps look quite similar) and the game would benefit from more maps over time.
    - There are no detailed Multiplayer stats (for example, KD, how many triple kill medals have you gotten)

    OVERALL
    Delaying this game for a year was the best decision 343 Industries could have made and other gaming companies would benefit from a decision like this if they found themselves in that situation.

    Halo Infinite is by far one of the best FPS experiences of 2021, and a memorable game in the franchise. Yes, there are still a lot of things that 343 need to add and improve, but the core gameplay and experience hit the spot.    … Expand

    It's been a long time since I played halo or any other shooter, I truly hoped this game could make me feel amazed with these kind of video games, but in fact, I experienced the total opposite, it felt quite boring and even repetitive during some missions. Honestly, it doesn't deserve an 86.

    Gameplay is awesome. Art-design is pretty poor, story is not very good. But this game is very fun to play. Almost like DOOM

    Muy buen juego, la jugabilidad es sencillamente superior a cualquier shooter genérico actual, lleno de posibilidades y sobre todo, es divertido, los gráficos son carismáticos y lindos, la ambientación es la de antaño, la clásica, la emblemática, pero claro con elementos nuevos.

    Not the halo experience I was expecting. The multilayer was pretty decent but got boring fast.
    The campaign had really bland level design and the outdoor open world area looked good but outdated and although the mechanics kinda save it from being terrible, it just feels like a poorly executed version of destiny.

    Good game actually,gameplay is very fun and hook is amazing.In terms of graphics, everything is just fine, without much trouble, but not impressive.Gunplay is very cool, weapons and enemies are amazing.I can't appreciate the plot yet because I haven't passed the game, but so far it's intriguing, although noticeably worse than in Halo 3.The weapon is very good.     Halo infinite's broken and dysfunctional game system just proves how much Xbox needed to "buy" Bethesda's catalog to stay afloat this generation. Don't waste your time playing it...What they can't sell...well...they give away on Gamepass.

    this was supposed to be the most epic game ever created with funds of $500Million yet we got this incomplete game:

    the multiplayer launched solo from the game, the game launched without a lot of modes especially Co op and yes I Always play Co op it's a tradition with my brother and no I don't want to wait 9 months it should have launched with the game the same is said for forge and    this was supposed to be the most epic game ever created with funds of $500Million yet we got this incomplete game:

    a very **** campaign all the characters do this one weird face as if they've been paralyzed I get the feeling they're planning on releasing the rest of the game in forms of DLC just like destiny.

    These negative reviews are hilarious.

    This game is a masterstroke. The open world bits remind me of BOTW, the atmosphere is thick, the world building is awesome.
    It blows anything 343 has done out of the water, and here's a hot take, it blows Halo 3 and Reach out of the water too.

    Having an amazing time with Halo multiplayer and the recently dropped campaign. The controls and game mechanics are updated in order to feel fresh, while not drastically changing too much with the traditional mechanics.

    The addition of the grapple shot has definitely added an interesting new way to engage with the enemy and the surrounding environment.     While I can agree that this is not a perfect game, I will note that this is the perfect game for me, and that is why I give this a 10/10.

    Again I notice that there are some disingenuous user reviewers who are simply giving this game a 0 just to troll/hate something. I believe that the only time you should give a game a zero is if it does not work. The reasons that they give do not justify a zero.    … Expand

    The graphics are outdated. This is suppose to be a next-gen AAA game, yet I've seen PS4 games with better graphics than this poor excuse of a next-gen game. That is embarrassing, especially when you consider that the Xbox Series X is supposedly the most powerful console. The physics are beyond horrible. The gun sounds are a joke. The AI is incredibly stupid. The animations look like trash. The story is poorly written. The explosions are laughable.

    Admittedly, the multiplayer is actually fun. But the multiplayer is free-to-play, meaning that the fun I had with the online multiplayer had nothing to do with my $60 purchase. So what do I benefit paying $60 for this joke of game? All I got was a lousy weapon to use in multiplayer and a worthless 10 hour solo campaign. I don't recommend this game at all.     Artificial intelligence is excellent for enemies.

    Creo que halo es un juego demasiado bueno la campaña no la e completado pero lo que llevo me a gustado mucho el multiplayer lo juego desde la beta y me a parecido un juego increíble creo que es el mejor halo desde Xbox one por qué no es el mejor por qué el primer halo bueno los primeros fueron una bomba por qué fueron los primeros multiplayer y algo malo de el juego es que los con elCreo que halo es un juego demasiado bueno la campaña no la e completado pero lo que llevo me a gustado mucho el multiplayer lo juego desde la beta y me a parecido un juego increíble creo que es el mejor halo desde Xbox one por qué no es el mejor por qué el primer halo bueno los primeros fueron una bomba por qué fueron los primeros multiplayer y algo malo de el juego es que los con el joystick derecho metas un puño y quite tanto daño la verdad es un juego muy bueno… Expand

    It's Halo raised to the Halo Power! Everything I've ever loved about this saga plus a breath of fresh air. I'm having a lot of fun playing it

    If the open-world concept had been better utilized and if the writers had added more interesting characters to the story, Infinite could have easily been one of the best Halo games ever. The shootouts are highly entertaining and the open world brings new tactical possibilities. The multiplayer is just as good, being slightly faster than before. [Issue#317]

    Halo is back to its best with Halo Infinite, tight controls, and seriously thirst-quenching gunplay that feels so intuitively satisfying. Traversal has been improved hugely by the addition of the grappleshot, allowing Master Chief to zip around at speed, as well as adding a unique element for multiplayer matches. A particular dampener has to be directed at the online multiplayer, which is riddled with cheaters, but, if they were to be removed then the multiplayer offers a solid free-to-play experience that is fast and frantic. Halo Infinite, alongside a number of other Xbox first-party titles is a great addition to Xbox Game Pass, and it is certainly a marquee game that warrants a subscription to the service.

    There’s not much to do in the open world, but thankfully, it doesn’t play a big role either. Infinite mostly sticks to what makes Halo great: first-person action. Smart level design, great mobility mechanics like grappling hook, and good AI make for some really memorable moments. [Issue#258, p.42]
