    343 did a great job redirecting the Halo franchise onto a greater path with Infinite. Both the campaign and multiplayer are fantastic in their own right. The competitive scene is alive again and I'm truly excited to see what the future holds with Infinite.

    Campaign and multilayer gameplay brilliant. Multilayer customisation and progression is terrible but the developers have shown a willingness to change this. Story is also good.

    Best Halo campaign since Reach in my opinion. Story is fresh, the setting is perfect, characters are emotionally engaging and interesting, soundtrack is amazing (sounds like a classic Halo game again). Gameplay is the best from the series so far. Honestly loving this game and I think it'll please Halo fans who have been waiting for a more "classic" feeling game all these years.

    Brilliant return to the franchise with stunning visuals, great narrative and gameplay which will keep any Halo fan entertained for hours. Infinite also incorporates a new approach to the campaign as well as a few new mechanics which keeps the franchise fresh and innovative. Even though I don't consider myself a hardcore Halo fan I've loved every bit of this game and there is still a lotBrilliant return to the franchise with stunning visuals, great narrative and gameplay which will keep any Halo fan entertained for hours. Infinite also incorporates a new approach to the campaign as well as a few new mechanics which keeps the franchise fresh and innovative.     Halo Infinite, while lacking some key features at launch, has the best gameplay the series as seen since Halo 3, with a great story. The worst part about this game is them monetization of the Spartan customization, with the prices being very high to buy sets of armor in the store.     Halo Infinite’s campaign is a banger! My favorite narrative since Halo 2/Reach. Joseph Staten does know how to make the setting for the games…his touch and Chris Lee’s touch feel awesome. This is a great return for Halo, both as a sequel that closes a lot of things H4/5 left, and a new beginning, bringing old and new together to make an exceptional work.     GAMEPLAY: 10
    Gunplay feels great and mechanics are tight. The grapple hook and Spartan cores add to the game.

    GRAPHICS: 8
    Graphics are very good but not earth shattering as this is a cross gen game. The game engine scales extremely well between Xbox One, One X and Series Consoles (I have all 3). The art direction in Infinite is closer to the Bungie games. The extra year of polish did the game justice.

    CAMPAIGN: 9 The story is great for returning players. If you are new to Halo I recommend watching a story recap on YouTube. The characters and writing is good. The Pilot’s drive to survive conflicts with Master Chiefs sense of duty. The new AI is naive and Chief takes more of a leading role between the two. The open world allows for variety on how to attack scenarios. The world is not too big and I s full of conflict to keep you engaged and on your toes. It is just the right size where it doesn’t feel overwhelming or cluttered with too many side quests. I only wish that the environment had more variety. The lack of co-op knocked the score down a point but I do believe your first play through should be solo.

    MOTION: 9 On Series X campaign is buttery smooth at 60fps and a huge difference compared to base Xbox One.

    SOUND: 10
    With familiar scores and new music this game sounds incredible. They really put a lot of effort here.

    MULTIPLAYER: 8
    The Fun factor is a 10. There are some issues that 343i has acknowledged are fixing like progression system and modes but gameplay is solid. This is the most fun I have ever had in a multiplayer shooter ever.

    FUN FACTOR: 10
    Heroic is challenging and will test your skills without feeling unfair.

    REPLAYABILITY: 10
    Lots to do and explore and Multiplayer is amazing keeping you coming back for more.

    OVERALL SCORE: 9 MY RANT: Anyone giving this game a low score is just review bombing. METACRITIC should do a better job of preventing extremely low scores (0-3) that are pure fanboy nonsense. Maybe have it where a minimum player score is a 5 so it has less negative impact on the scoring system and we get a better sense of how any game truly scores. Just my thoughts.

    The multiplayer is insane and addictive, I can't stop playing.

    Really enjoyed the new Halo. The campaign feels like playing the original but with great graphics and without a certain enemy. The story was really good and gives you all the feels, though I do wish it was about 10 hours longer. I know this is a living game so who knows, maybe they'll add more. The multiplayer is exceptional and I love all the different armor pieces and paints. PeopleReally enjoyed the new Halo. The campaign feels like playing the original but with great graphics and without a certain enemy. The story was really good and gives you all the feels, though I do wish it was about 10 hours longer. I know this is a living game so who knows, maybe they'll add more. The multiplayer is exceptional and I love all the different armor pieces and paints. People complain about the battle pass but I go up a least a couple levels every day. Yeah, some of the cool stuff is behind a pay wall but it's a F2P and money has to come from somewhere. Would be nice to be able to vote on maps or do play lists but that might be added later. In summary, it's a great game in both multiplayer and campaign, but is technically unfinished in both so a 9 it is.… Expand

    Disfruté demasiado del juego, me encanta que conviertan lo típico del Halo en algo nuevo para esta generación. Desde movimiento más fluido hasta una campaña más profunda.     I’ve been waiting patiently for Halo Infinite to released and finally getting my hands on it and OH MY!! The game was definitely worth the wait! Playing the Multiplayer heavily I’m currently 26 in the Battle Pass, Platinum 4 in ranked and 4 hours in the Campaign. I’m just constantly thinking about Halo Infinite and what else the story as in line for me. The graphics is top tier for a gameI’ve been waiting patiently for Halo Infinite to released and finally getting my hands on it and OH MY!! The game was definitely worth the wait! There are still small problems in optimization, I know that there is no anti-cheat, but I have not met cheaters in 26 hours. It's still amazing. The gameplay is crisp and fun and by the far the most polished compared to others (bf 2042 and vanguard). The campaign is the best it's been since reach. With a gripping storyThe game is good, What more can I say. Although it's a little rough round edges(multiplayer not having dedicated playlists for modes and monetisation that is about predatory for halo standards). It's still amazing. The gameplay is crisp and fun and by the far the most polished compared to others (bf 2042 and vanguard). The campaign is the best it's been since reach. With a gripping story that is sometimes even a tear jerker. The master chief has never been better and the supporting cast and main antagonist is well written.     Halo Infinite is the most fun I've had in a FPS since Doom eternal. The combat loop is addictive and the traversal is fun and fluid. The next chapter in the story can't come soon enough. I gave it a 9 for the campaign alone. When you factor in the multi player it's probably a 10.

    The game is amazing, it feels like a classic halo, yes, I miss some of the classic guns, but apart from that, everything feels amazing, the story line is beautiful and it keeps you focused on the game. It's an epic game for sure.

You fake bombing this game because y'all have nothing to play?

It lets you experience the story at your own pace while also experiencing other elements of the Halo universe. Multiplayer is loads of fun as well. Devs stayed true to the feel of other Halo games and didn't fall pray to popular battle royale pressures. Battlepass progression wasI love the new open world gameplay. It's a fresh take on the series instead of the guide-railed story line. It lets you experience the story at your own pace while also experiencing other elements of the Halo universe. Multiplayer is loads of fun as well. Devs stayed true to the feel of other Halo games and didn't fall pray to popular battle royale pressures. Battlepass progression was pretty slow, but devs quickly fixed progression after hearing community feedback.performance in the open world is a bit rough, with frame rates on a 3080 and 109000K reach up to 25/30 ok ultra.     I like this game. The 2021 year is very annoying about new games. So halo get deserved 9 (+1) bcz the only one game is playable in 2021. Shooting component in this game is awesome also like the weapons. Locations are good , bosses too.

    If the open-world concept had been better utilized and if the writers had added more interesting characters to the story, Infinite could have easily been one of the best Halo games ever. The shootouts are highly entertaining and the open world brings new tactical possibilities. The multiplayer is just as good, being slightly faster than before. [Issue#317]

    Halo is back to its best with Halo Infinite, tight controls, and seriously thirst-quenching gunplay that feels so intuitively satisfying. Traversal has been improved hugely by the addition of the grappleshot, allowing Master Chief to zip around at speed, as well as adding a unique element for multiplayer matches. A particular dampener has to be directed at the online multiplayer, which is riddled with cheaters, but, if they were to be removed then the multiplayer offers a solid free-to-play experience that is fast and frantic. Halo Infinite, alongside a number of other Xbox first-party titles is a great addition to Xbox Game Pass, and it is certainly a marquee game that warrants a subscription to the service.

    There’s not much to do in the open world, but thankfully, it doesn’t play a big role either. Infinite mostly sticks to what makes Halo great: first-person action. Smart level design, great mobility mechanics like grappling hook, and good AI make for some really memorable moments. [Issue#258, p.42]
