    This is the best Halo has been in more than a decade. Great campaign, Phenomenal MP. They will update it with more playlists and forge. When they do it’ll be hard for me to move on from this game.

    Quite literally the best Halo has ever been. Despite the awful MTX system and lack of content in the Multiplayer, this is the most fun I’ve had in Halo in years. Every second playing I had the dumbest grin on my face. The combat loop, graphics, story, gameplay, score, controllers, and everything is so good. The game feels as if 343 took the first game and amped it up to 11 in every way.Quite literally the best Halo has ever been. My favorite part about this game is the gameplay, in specific, what I mean by this, is how some fights play out. for example, when I was fighting with Bassus, my way of playing was to get the sniper rifle, headshot him to get his shield down, and then stick him with grenades. not only this, but due to how fast he is, and the fact he uses melee, I also had to avoid his attacks, I did this by using the grapplehook to get away from his attacks each time I land a headshot this is what I mean by how this game makes you think outside the box.… Expand

    Simplemente lo recomiendo, no indagaré tanto en esto, pero... El ambiente, los soundtracks, los enemigos y los gráficos, que dejaron de que hablar por allá del 2020. Me pregunto, qué hubieran lanzado sí no lo hubieran retrasado?, Totalmente valió la pena al ver una mejora en cualquier sentido de la palabra... Tal vez no sea la mejor entrega de la saga, pero sí una de las mejores, laSimplemente lo recomiendo, no indagaré tanto en esto, pero...     A return to form! Reminds me of Halo 3 more than I'd have ever imagined. It really is a blend between the best of Halo. It could do with greater biome diversity, and the multiplayer needs more playlists. But what this game is now, at launch, is the most fun I've had in a shooter in such a long time.

    Easily the best Halo in the last decade. Classic gunplay with modern movement that stays true to its core. Campaign also makes up for the sins of Halo 5. I feel like I’m 13 playing Halo CE all over again.

    This game is just perfect for both old halo fan and the newcomers like me where this is my first halo game ever.     This game is incredible. It starts right a the first mission and keeps on going. I can't put it down. 343 absolutely NAILED it. And as a long time Halo fan I couldn't be happier. I am counting the minutes till i get to Zeta Halo again after work :)

The story was really good and gives you all the feels, though I do wish it was about 10 hours longer. I know this is a living game so who knows, maybe they'll add more. The multiplayer is exceptional and I love all the different armor pieces and paints. PeopleReally enjoyed the new Halo.     Disfruté demasiado del juego, me encanta que conviertan lo típico del Halo en algo nuevo para esta generación. Desde movimiento más fluido hasta una campaña más profunda. I love this game, it has fantastic environmental story telling, addictive gameplay loop with a satisfying sandbox. the ring world is not a traditional open world and has a good amalgamation of both new and old halo. the story is up to each individuals interpretation however it is well told with fantastic delivery fromI am 343 industries, I am being given shill bucks to rate this game 10.     So I've put many hours into the Multi-player and a couple hours into the Campaign. Multi-player wise the gameplay is perfect and feels nice and rewarding. They definitely went to the fundamentals of Halo of teamwork, strategy, and all round fun. The only issue is the store is pretty pricey and at the moment don't have Forge or Coop for a month or two. The story moves from linear to an open world within two missions. I was skeptical of having Halo be an open world but how 343 implemented it in this Halo is absolutely amazing. They truly immerse you and make you feel like you are master chief. The graphics are absolutely amazing with this new engine. Unfortunately the game isn't optimized perfectly for PC yet and doesn't have ray tracing until Forge comes out. But I ran it with a 3080ti and it's some of the best graphics I've seen from a developer l. Even without raytracing you can see shadows and reflections everywhere as if it's real life. Master Cheifs visor accurately reflects what's in front of it. And forerunner architecture looks absolutely beautiful. The open world looks amazing and can render out trees from other sides of the map with perfect detail is just astonishing… Expand

    Extraordinarily fun gameplay in both campaign and multiplayer. The campaign story is amazing, so much love put into it. Dialogue from NPC in the campaign is very funny and legitimately adds enjoyment to the game. Negatives include the way the multiplayer custimisation is setup, with almost everything behind a pay wall.

    This is the first time since halo 3, a halo game put a smile on my face! Such an enjoyable experience, the combat is second to none, the ascetic is perfect for a halo game. Would have given it a perfect score, but no co-op or proper selection for the multi player game modes. Graphics are ok, not amazing which is ok. Ps stop the fan boy garbage.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I finished the campaign yesterday and I decided to give my thoughts for everyone hesitant to buy the game. Campaign wise infinite is awesome. The story is very well done, but it doesn't go that far. Still a great story though,probably one of the best. It really reminds me of CE story cause it laid the foundations for other great halos to come while kinda waving goodbye to the old halos. The gameplay loop is phenomenal although I was kinda disappointed by the fact that there are no scarab battles,or large battles in general. The open world feels alive and there's much stuff to do however I would prefer if they added other biomes besides the same green grass . The interiors and the artstyle are exceptionally designed and the graphics especially in the cutscenes phenomenal(played on Xbox one). The audio and music excellent as always. Overall I would rate the campaign a 9,2/10 my 3rd favourite halo campaign.

    The multiplayer is also good. The gameplay loop and the sandbox phenomenal,the maps very good although I would like to see more maps added but the games suffers from one severe mistake:lack of content. Seriously they need to add some more modes soon except swat,fiesta which announced that are coming this Tuesday. The progression system although better than launch still needs some improvement but I don't really care. Overall this gets a 8,3/10    … Expand

    I was really skeptical about the new Halo after Halo 4/5 but 343 has blown this one out of the park! The gunplay is SOOO Satisfying! I wonder why Halo wasn't made open world before. The graphics although not industry best by any means but the graphics are really great and clean. I really enjoyed my 20 hours with it. I will play it again soon

    so far I have had a great time in the halo This is a new experience and I am enjoying it, I have been playing for about 6 hours and the map has a lot of potential, it is difficult for me to pass it on the maximum difficulty since it is a great challenge, I give it a 10/10

    Giving a 10 because the core gameplay and features are super solid. There are slight issues with certain things (Battlepass, playlists, store) but all in all this is the absolute best Halo released in a decade.

    This game nails gameplay and shooting. Such a great experience on legendary difficulty. It isn’t too hard to make you quit but it’s just the right amount to feel rewarding. Music is superb and adds so much to the experience. Visuals aren’t mind blowing but that is ok. The fact that the core gameplay is fantastic and I know 343 is going to add onto it. Must own!

    As a Halo player since combat evolved In my think that Halo Infinite is really the going back to the original roots of the series with an amazing gameplay combined with tactics and the enemies unique Ai with some new awesome mechanics like grapple hook.. and really loved the story

    The difficulty is again like in CE and that is amazing and making it soo that in the harder difficulties the enemies aren't bullet sponges like in 4 and 5, but rather making them more intelligent, faster thinking, but never unfair to fight against. (Ignore the rocket flood in CE, it didn't happen)
    Althou it is lacking in biome section, only    Story, gameplay, art-style, AI. All amazing

    In conclusion: its not perfect, but with everything they did to fix the story and gameplay after Halo 5…its reboot we all wanted.    … Expand

    Halo is back, I will not pour water, multiplayer came out earlier and played very well, the only drawback is the progression, and as for the single player company, it is not bad at the legendary difficulty level.

    He sido fanática de Halo desde el tercer juego, fué la saga que me introdujo al mundo del gaming y tras jugar las demás partes de la franquicia, debo decir que este es el juego que más me ha conmovido, la historia es maravillosa, y logra concluir exitosamente con un ciclo en la saga, para así comenzar algo nuevo en la dicha. Personajes bien logrados, y unas mecánicas renovadas y muyHe sido fanática de Halo desde el tercer juego, fué la saga que me introdujo al mundo del gaming y tras jugar las demás partes de la franquicia, debo decir que este es el juego que más me ha conmovido, la historia es maravillosa, y logra concluir exitosamente con un ciclo en la saga, para así comenzar algo nuevo en la dicha.     I have played all the halo games on my Xbox one/ series S and this halo game is the very best one. Definitely deserves the high scores it is getting from other reviewers. Multiplayer is classic halo at its best. Well done brilliant game.

    The game was so so much fun, even the side missions were pretty fun. Only thing that is missing is huge battles and different biomes but everything else is fine with me.

    Great game! Haven't had this much fun with a Halo game in years! Great story, great sandbox and the gameplay is the best in the series, for sure. Music is incredible as well. They especially nailed the atmosphere for the campaign. Althought, it still has some technical issues that need work, it's still a great experience

    This is one of the best games I have ever played. Multiplayer has been really fun for me and the fact that it is free just makes it even better. The campaign has some bugs, but other than that, the campaign is amazing.

    A true return to form. Inspired heavily by the older games and does it's best to keep it fresh too. Very happy with the end result and a must play for any Halo fan!

    The game was incredible! Even made me tear up a few times, and the music was a 10/10 incredible soundtrack! Only negatives. Wish the game was rated M. Feel like that would help with the immersion. Second wish that they would use Blur cgi cutscenes from HW2 instead of the in-game engine. I think this would help project certain emotions a little better.

    343 has managed to recapture the Halo feeling and refocus Halo's gameplay by focusing less on abilities tied to the player and more pick ups and environmental choices. A simple, yet complex story which also feels like an apology to the community for the misdirection they have gone with the series. Halo finally sounds, feels and plays like Halo, once again.

    In campaign, you suddenly get marines in your bases. This should be a little more explained, you are told that UNSC forces have been hunted but then you have infinite marines out of nowhere. And there are still lots of questions of the blue team, Osiris and the spirit of fire. Then,    Halo Infinite has an incredible story and gameplay. It’s a great game, awesome, but there are some flows.

Then, in the mission of entering a tower after gathering data of three bases, you have to forcibly complete the campaign doing 3 missions in a row with no way to stop and keep exploring the ring. You are forced to complete the campaign. I would have liked to complete that mission and then do a little exploration, but no. This little flaws make the game not as much perfect as I wanted, but the gameplay is the most fun of any halo. It’s a great game, but I’m hoping some free campaign DLC’s    … Expand

    Apart from the multiplayer progression system - which is simply nonexistent - and the bad battle pass, then everything else about this game is simply awesome! Especially the free multiplayer part of it is one the most smooth things out here.

    Multiplayer is super fun, gameplay is solid, the power ups (grapple, repulsor, booster) are super fun and add great depth to gameplay. The campaign is solid, the open world is cool but kind of empty once you finish the campaign. the story missions themselves are pretty fun, some of the wave by wave battles can be pretty mundane, but the boss fights are super fun.     If the open-world concept had been better utilized and if the writers had added more interesting characters to the story, Infinite could have easily been one of the best Halo games ever. The shootouts are highly entertaining and the open world brings new tactical possibilities. The multiplayer is just as good, being slightly faster than before. [Issue#317]

    Halo is back to its best with Halo Infinite, tight controls, and seriously thirst-quenching gunplay that feels so intuitively satisfying. Traversal has been improved hugely by the addition of the grappleshot, allowing Master Chief to zip around at speed, as well as adding a unique element for multiplayer matches. A particular dampener has to be directed at the online multiplayer, which is riddled with cheaters, but, if they were to be removed then the multiplayer offers a solid free-to-play experience that is fast and frantic. Halo Infinite, alongside a number of other Xbox first-party titles is a great addition to Xbox Game Pass, and it is certainly a marquee game that warrants a subscription to the service.

    There’s not much to do in the open world, but thankfully, it doesn’t play a big role either. Infinite mostly sticks to what makes Halo great: first-person action. Smart level design, great mobility mechanics like grappling hook, and good AI make for some really memorable moments. [Issue#258, p.42]
