    This is Grid’s dirty brother. And it shows similar flaws in terms of depth as well as on the technical side. Nonetheless this can deliver short-term arcade off-road fun.

    Despite a nice 4-player split-screen and enjoyable Playground mode chock-full of cool fan-made courses, Dirt 5 is not worth the full price. Yes, it is very pretty, runs smoothly and sounds great, but it lacks innovation and therefore reminds me of old school racing games. [01/2021, p.68]

    Dirt again presents fun rally races but at the same time fails at the same point: It's kind of the same game that came to exhaustion fast and thrown away to play a new game.

    I don't remember having so much fun with a racing game. It is a real pleasure to play this game. The presentation is incredible. The graphics are outstanding, especially when it's raining. I am very happy I bought this game, the gameplay is so good and addictive.     Forza Horizon 4 does everything better, even if you exclude the open world of FH4. Graphics in D5 are decent, but not as good. Race tracks are flashy in design which is a plus, but the physics and AI are a joke and the AI can be crap in FH4 at times. This is a game that is fun for casuals or how to get your girlfriend into games, for anyone that enjoys challenging good racing, look elsewhere. (Playing on XSX.)    … Full Review »
