    What can I say? I did not want this to end. I could not get enough. I wanted it to keep going. This remake was amazing. It held true and impressed all the way through. A must play.

    Not sure I’d say it’s a 10, it’s either a 9 or a 10, but since a bunch of man babies want to dump zeroes on because of “wOkE” nonsense (that doesn’t exist by the way) I figure it’s worth evening out the score by rating it as high as possible. If you loved the original game you’ll love this as well, the story is totally different while being exactly the same. Everything’s been switchedNot sure I’d say it’s a 10, it’s either a 9 or a 10, but since a bunch of man babies want to dump zeroes on because of “wOkE” nonsense (that doesn’t exist by the way) I figure it’s worth evening out the score by rating it as high as possible.     Still the best game around after over a decade. It's tense. It's beautiful and most important it's fun. I do not like scary games, but I have and always will love Dead Space. It's the kind of game I just can't put down. All that said, it is definitely not for everyone with the amount of gore on display.     I've put in about 7 hours into this game so far and I must say that this game is TOP NOTCH! EA Motive did a superb job retaining the spirit of the original, but also improving it in so many ways from the graphics, lighting, sound, music, and writing! I am truly impressed with the result!! This game is DEFINITELY one of my favorite survival horror games of all time! It is truly anI've put in about 7 hours into this game so far and I must say that this game is TOP NOTCH! EA Motive did a superb job retaining the spirit of the original, but also improving it in so many ways from the graphics, lighting, sound, music, and writing! I am truly impressed with the result!!     Un gros 10 !!! J'en met rârementais je ne mattebdais pas a ce que ce remake face mieux que l'originale mais si ! Un grans vravo à Motive et EA ! L'ambianve sonore et plus terrifiante que jamais, visuellement cest magnifique
    Quelques modificagion au niveau du scénario qui sont également les bienvenus.
    Je revommande virement !

    The Dead Space Remake improves upon almost everything that made the original a masterpiece. Visuals and audio are fantastic and the game feels a lot smoother to control than the first game. This is the definitive way to experience Dead Space. My only complaints are some of the voice acting and some minor bugs and glitches.

Du vrai RT sur ces éclairages ça serait parfait, mais les consoles ne sont certainement pas encore totalement maîtrisé ou puissante pour le faire.
    La bande sonore est magnifique avec un boulot monstre dessus (battement du coeur, bruits venant de partout, environnement 3D).

    - le gameplay: un jeu remanié avec des quêtes annexes, un scénario étoffé, un new games + avec une fin alternative à débloquer, de nouvelles zones, des nouvelles mécaniques implantées avec intelligence, et un jeu qui m'a semblé plus dificile que l'original (les monstres me paraissent plus nerveux).

    Pour avoir fait aussi the Last of Us Remake, Dead Space Remake va beaucoup plus loin qu'un simple restylage graphique. Bravo aux développeurs. J'avais adoré l'épisode original, et je ne regrette pas du tout d'avoir acheté ce remake. Vivement le 2.    … Expand

    I definitely don't wanna spoil anything but I believe anyone new to the series's will have a good time and if you are a returning fan you will absolutely enjoy yourself as well.     Gotta say I havent played the original, therefore this is new to me. But on the other hand,I've played a compareable came that came out sometime earlier. And I think I know now why Dead Space im considered the best in the genre. Everything is just perfect to me. Atmosphere, Level designs, Enemy differences and combinations. This product sets itself apart from the various remakes in today's market by offering new mechanics and paths compared to the original. The game has been 100% completed on Xbox Series X.

    THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS, AGAIN:
    Dead Space Remake begins with an introductory scene to the game's story, showcasing the various members of the expedition, including the legendary engineer Isaac Clarke, the protagonist of the entire trilogy. Unlike the original, he now has an uncovered face and sets the stage for the continuous feast of visual and auditory delights that this remake offers to players of all categories. In fact, this cutscene fully showcases the graphical muscle it brings, with extreme attention to detail and visual effects, coupled with technically impressive audio. After this sequence, the player finds themselves guiding the engineer through the doors of the USG Ishimura, a massive galactic spacecraft dedicated to mining giant stars.

    LOST IN SPACE-SHIP:
    By now, the gaming industry has accustomed us to seeing great remakes adding a couple, or even no new mechanics compared to the originals. Fortunately, Dead Space doesn't disappoint in this regard either. Several sections have been updated and modified to provide a different experience even for those who have played the original. One significant mechanic that has significantly changed the approach to certain areas is the energy convoy system. This allows the player to redirect energy to specific structures such as elevators or doors at the expense of life support systems or, even worse, lights. This obviously adds more variety compared to Dead Space's typical linearity and gives the player more decision-making power. Finally, the last two major changes are the addition of more interactive objects on the map for defensive use, such as carts or pipes that can be used as spears, and the ability to explore a fully interconnected Ishimura, blocked only by security doors accessible during the story.

    THE VISIONS IMPROVED THE GRAPHIC:
    It's challenging not to fall into banality when talking about a remake that has improved every single aspect of the game. The lighting has been extensively enhanced and structured to evoke different sensations such as anxiety and anguish, or tranquility and solitude. The colors, faithful in every situation, perfectly convey the feeling of being immersed in deep space. The attention to detail, whether it's the decorative posters, billboards, wall writings, or various objects found throughout the game, builds a silent narrative necessary for such a dark title. Of course, there are some minor flaws, such as the animations, which are still below par compared to the rest, and some final cutscenes that feel hastily thought out and concluded.

    SOMETHING IS COMING:
    The audio department, even more than the graphics, showcases a remarkable technical level. For this title, a new 3D audio technology was used, which utilizes extremely realistic sound waves that bounce off surfaces just like in the real world. It's worth noting that you need headphones with 3D audio to fully exploit this feature, but the regular audio, which is meticulously crafted, is still impressive in its own right. Focusing on the 3D audio, it's one of the best, if not the best, on the market, and it's especially utilized to its full potential in a game like this. By using this feature, you can hear enemies climbing walls or rooftops, allowing you to predict their direction. You can hear entities approaching from walls several meters away. Not only does this make the experience smoother, but it also makes it extremely more horrifying and scary due to the unpredictability of certain sounds.

    WHY A 10? (9.5)

    PROS:
    Dead Space Remake, a reproduction of an already established masterpiece, improves upon 95% of the original, offering a multitude of new mechanics and approaches, a backtracking system, and terrifying audio and visual aspects. These aspects make it feel like a new game even for those like me who have completed the first Dead Space multiple times. Additionally, it provides access to the Impossible difficulty right from the first playthrough, a brilliant choice that allows veterans to enjoy a completely balanced challenge from the start.

    CONS:
    The negative aspects of this masterpiece are limited to the simple question, "Was it necessary?" This is because the original Dead Space from 2008 didn't need a remake. I believe that every fan of the saga would have appreciated a sequel or spin-off of the trilogy much more than this reproduction.

    Love every moment of the game. EA really knock this out the park telling the whole gaming industry on how to do a proper remake. My only con about the game is a $70 price tag. $70 games should be subscribe to games that have at least a 20 and up hour long campaign or free DLC

    Dead Space is a beautiful example of what a remake of a game should be. Something classic, something new, but most importantly, a modern doorway into a classic that will be enjoyed by both veterans and new swathes of potential fans. [Issue#325]

    Dead Space is a remake done right. It builds on what the original game did well, delivering in terms of tension and environment, adding new layers as it goes. Should you be a fan of what the franchise did in the past, or are just looking to have your spine tingled, I would suggest you give Dead Space a go. And use headphones, yeah?

    Remakes are a much harder thing to pull off than remasters. The original game exists and changing things can be a scary proposition to fans. Motive Studio has done an outstanding job of tweaking what worked and fixing what didn’t. This remake is on the same level as Capcom’s efforts with Resident Evil and will be considered one of the best going forward. This is a gold standard and I truly hope we get to see them continue this work with a new game in the series, or even a remake of the second game. I love this world and hope it is truly back and here to stay.
