Apr 7, 2025BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a great entry into the BLEACH universe. The story is well done and while the online side of things is a bit of a mess (not all the game’s fault, as online players will always adopt anything that lets them win) you’ll find plenty of fun within.

Apr 14, 2025It's a fun game, very much geared toward Bleach fans and not so much toward hardcore fighting game players. It has its own strategy, and it delivers. I'm very surprised because, despite being pure fan service, the game has its own identity, a fun combat system, and many hours to play.

Apr 23, 2025Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is, first and foremost, a love letter to fans of the anime. While it may not stand shoulder to shoulder with the top titles in the genre, its satisfying combat, well-crafted Story Mode, and diverse roster of characters are sure to please longtime Bleach enthusiasts.

Apr 25, 2025Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a game that has bet everything on a gameplay system that evolves the standards of the genre. Its proposal is very attractive at the controls, but it is a bit diluted in terms of content and technical aspect.

May 25, 2025Bleach Rebirth of Souls is reminiscent of the cel-shaded fighting games that were all the rage in the early 2000s. While the sometimes redundant and somewhat complex approach to combat may be surprising at first, the game quickly reveals the depth of its content with a roster of 32 characters and a Campaign mode that retraces a large part of the manga. The technical aspect, on the other hand, is behind, and we should therefore not expect a title that meets current visual codes. Thirty years after Toshinden, Tamsoft is giving the Bleach license a boost in video games, and that can only please fans.

Apr 6, 2025Bleach: Rebirth of Souls introduces some interesting gameplay innovations and a not huge but highly differentiated roster of characters, with a compelling Story mode that will satisfy both the fans and who is approaching the Bleach series for the first time. Too bad, tho, for the lacklustre technical side, plagued by blurry visuals and unstable performance, and an almost unplayable online mode.

May 13, 2025Bleach: Rebirth of Souls had the potential to be a great game for fans of the anime, but it falls short in several key areas. Way to many cutscenes disrupts the flow of gameplay, and the combat, while solid, lacks the depth and excitement needed to keep me wanting more. It’s a game that might appeal to die-hard Bleach fans just to try it out, but for others, it may not be worth the time. Watch the anime instead, it’s so much better!

Apr 2, 2025Bleach Rebirth of Souls makes an excellent first impression, with cool, loud menu UI, amped-up music, and in-game action that looks fast and furious from a distance. But when you actually dive in to learn the game and experience all of its parts, the cracks show rather quickly. The mechanics feel unrefined and poorly balanced, and the story mode has a low budget vibe that betrays the new anime’s energy. Aside from impressive animations and a few distinct ideas, this isn’t the comeback Bleach fans have been hoping for over the last decade.

Mar 24, 2025Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is an ok game. When it’s at its best, it’s delivering exciting battles and retelling a story many love in a streamlined and sometimes overly simplified manner. When it’s at its worst, it can be a frustrating affair that leaves you feeling a need for a more polished experience and nuanced.

Apr 7, 2025A Monkey reaching for the Moon, in the end what beasts can see is nothing more than the Moon reflected in water, though they may struggle to capture it, they shall only sink to the water’s depths.” Even though we could technically sum up Bleach Rebirth of Souls in this poetic way, it would nevertheless be an offence to it. Whether it be through its desire to establish an “original” game system or its truly generous solo content, Bleach Rebirth of Souls has kept us hooked for many hours. The title offers a pleasant experience for fans who are not too fussy about the small issues and are willing to wait for a more decent price. Overall, there is no denying that we have a “fang” for it.
