As an action-RPG, Asterigos: Curse of the Stars offers a sensational experience. Whether in terms of story and combat gameplay, this rich AA production is more than generous. Unfortunately, the level design struggles to be convincing and clearly tarnishes the general experience. As regards the technical aspect, the AA production status and the usual lack of means it implies might explain why some corners were cut. However, the gameplay experience remains pleasant and the story and gameplay largely make up for the shortcomings.

Just a 10 cause of the 2,6 User Score. This isn't fair, it's a 8. For the (low) price i received a great game.

    The good:
It is an adventure game with a flavor of the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s. It has large interconnected areas to explore (there is not much to do, but they are large extensions that are connected by channels, tunnels, holes, higher levels, scaffolding. The story It's immersive, a lot to read, a lot to investigate. Interesting (at least intriguing) side quests. It has a map that you can always use (and when you've progressed through the first 3 quests and they give you 4 more)

    The bad:
The game is bipolar (there are areas with a visual, technical, narrative and structurally complex complexity and next to it the most flat, generic and carelessly made models). The game is badly optimized in loading textures in certain areas. The enemies move at 10 FPS which gives a strange and even scary feeling (in the highest difficulties since they see you and jump to attack, they take a lot with each hit and their attack priority is well above yours and there is no way to stop them). Although the stories and secondary missions are interesting, there is no mark or outline of how to complete them or who to go see, except for the clues that Hild comments on and the vagueness of her notes that she is taking in her notebook. The artistic style is not consistent, there are characters with a cartoon aesthetic, there are characters with a semi-realistic aesthetic, the protagonist has a generic anime aesthetic. difficult achievements. Only by completing the first 3 missions do you access game improvements such as the map, indicating that you are missing and teleportation, many will not see this because they will have tired of the game much sooner.

    The meh!:
This game seems to be an unauthorized expansion of Innmortal Fenix Rising or Horizon Zero Down where they already had the material ready and they did not approve the last minute demo and instead of throwing everything away they decided to release it as a separate game

Nice souls-like with interesting landscapes, normal combat and simple leveling up
