    Zombi is a survival game set in London but with emphasis on the survival aspect.
    When you die, your character dies and you'll play as a different character. You can retrieve your lost stuff by going to the place where you've died and kill the zombie who wears your backpack (who is a zombified "you").
    The only sad thing about Zombi is that it's gameplay is repetitive. The port from WiiU    Zombi is a survival game set in London but with emphasis on the survival aspect.

    The game isn't bad, it is just clearly meant to showcase tech that was new with the Wii U at the time. Controls are aweful, but this somehow makes the game even more tense. There were multiple points of the game which were genuinely creepy - something I have to give the game credit for.     Zombie for Xbox One is a Remake of release version for Wii U in 2012
    The Game lacks checkpoints, but it still a good and ok Open World version some features are better off on the remade versions then the Wii U one.

    This game had potential to be awesome, but they made too many bad decisions. The biggest problem is the "die and become a new survivor" function. Every time you die by a zombie, you become a new survivor. This could have worked if it wasn't for NO CHECKPOINTS. In the Dark Souls games, you spawn at the latest bonfire you rested at. This works. In Zombi you don't have checkpoints, so youThis game had potential to be awesome, but they made too many bad decisions. The biggest problem is the "die and become a new survivor" function. Every time you die by a zombie, you become a new survivor. This could have worked if it wasn't for NO CHECKPOINTS. In the Dark Souls games, you spawn at the latest bonfire you rested at. This works. In Zombi you don't have checkpoints, so you spawn at your safe house every time. That means that you must go back to the same location you died if you want all your stuff back. You can use fast travel, but because of the lack of fast travel spots (which you btw have to find yourself) you can easily get frustrated. And don't think that you can quit the game and be the same person if you die. The game automatically saves when you die, so you must play as the new character. That's BS if you ask me. An other thing that is frustrating is that you must find CCTV boxes to unlock the mini map of that location. It wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for that you barely find them. Maybe I'm blind though. The last complaint I have is that you can't put away your standard gear. That means that you can't collect some weapons and gadgets you find because of that your handgun and cricket bat isn't disposable. So you can have a new pistol and a new melee weapon, but still have to carry around with the standard pistol and cricket bat (unnecessary space). But the game is still enjoyable. It's actually one of the scariest horror games I've played and the combat is satisfying. This game is cheap too which is good (this is a port from a Wii U game from a couple of years back). I would recommend it, but be prepared to maybe be disappointed.… Expand

    Zombi is a First Person Shooter Survival Horror Game with an obvious inspiration from the souls games. Here you play as a random character out to basically do chores in a thruway world, with throwaway characters in a throwaway story… This is a chores games set in london, of go from point a to b, collect what you can along the way and try not to die..     You start with an unbreakable melee weapon, and a pistol with 6 bullets…
    You then set out to gather whatever from a location given to on the map..
    And along the way youll find health pick ups, new weapons and ammo…
    And there are zombies all over the place in your way from completing your task…
    This game is sortve delivered in the style of a souls game..
    Everything feels connected, youll be unlocking shortcuts as you run around the areas collecting key cards and completing tasks…
    Youll be unlocking shortcuts for when you die..
    Which brings me to this games twist…
    Once you die you respawn as a new character… all level progression is gone…. its then up to you to go back to where you died, kill the zombi version of yourself to re collect your materials and go…
    But if you die on your way back, you lose everything.. youll be in the middle of the game feeling like a fresh spawn…
    Which isn’t all too bad, but the fact you lose every weapon you picked up along the way stings..
    It hurts losing your shotgun or crossbow..
    It happened to me about an 2 hrs away from this games ending..
    The game by the way only takes about 6 hours to complete…
    And that’s with being thurough..
    Thankfully thuroughness isn’t that difficult as youre given a scanner for lootable items…
    The game sounds pretty simple enough, but it can absolutely feel frustrating at times…
    This is a survival game in every sense of the word…
    You have to be mindful of your ammo and health.. you have a pretty small backpack and weapons take up space.. some youll have to just leave behind so you have that extra health on you…
    And pick ups are actually pretty rare.. especially health pick ups..
    Enemies hardly ever have anything on them… which again makes this game feel frustrating especially when youre deep into the map and havnt found any shortcuts, and the game wants to throw cheep exploding enemies at you that you don’t realize are explodable until its too late…
    it just breaks your heart and makes you want to quit…
    And sadly this game feels more stressful than fun and addictive…
    The focus is on chores rather than exploration…
    The thing that makes souls games so hard to put down is youre dying to see whats around the next corner..
    While here in zombie, every corner is the same so that hook just isn’t there…
    I did ultimately enjoy my time with zombie.. but those moments of cheapness and feelings of unfun frustration cant be overlooked…
    I give Zombi
    a 6/10    … Expand

    The Xbox One's port of ZombiU is a good budget priced title. It's a very unique and tense survival game that delivers some good scares. A standout feature is the permadeath mechanic which makes this a very challenging ride. Unfortunately, the graphics are not very impressive. Regardless, fans of Left 4 Dead and State of Decay should have a blast with this one. Overall, I would rate ZombiThe Xbox One's port of ZombiU is a good budget priced title.     Zombi puts players into a zombie filled apocalypse set in London. The environment of the game definitely sets a mood for a Survival horror, unfortunately this is the only aspect that does it's job. Most objectives are just there to make the game longer rather than to build a story.     Zombi is still capable of putting you in a state of tension and fear, and that's the greatest achievement for a game that suffers from mediocre graphics and poor combat mechanics.

    When you take away the Wii U Gamepad gimmicks and the multiplayer mode, all you have in this version is a rather bland game that hasn't aged that well.
