Aug 27, 2015Even if visually not up to date, ZOMBI manages to deliver a well thought-out survival experience with great gameplay rhythm and mechanics.
-
Aug 18, 2015Ubisoft has done a surprisingly good job with the port.
-
Aug 21, 2015It is not the prettiest undead game out there. And with the omission of the second screen (even though it would have been possible on Vita or SmartGlass devices) the great atmosphere and immersion suffer, which characterized the WiiU version. But at its core it still is a tense and hard fought fight for survival.
-
Aug 24, 2015Technically speaking, Zombi is just mediocre. But behind the looks, the game has still a lot to give, and every survival horror fan should give Zombi a chance.
-
Aug 24, 2015Zombi is a great game that, sadly, suffers from the absence of what many people believed was its greatest flaw: the Wii U Gamepad. Even though the main campaign retains the gameplay basics that made the original game shine, the additional tension and stress derived from the use of the screen controller made the port feel as something incomplete and not unique. Despite this, it’s a title that those who have interest in it or didn't have the chance to play it in the past will enjoy.

Aug 25, 2015Every bullet counts, every health item matters, and Zombi still offers a fantastic time for those that never experienced it originally – and now at a great price.
-
Aug 21, 2015With more exciting combat, Zombi might have been a must-own for horror fans. As it stands, it’s a fun game that does most things right, but constantly reminds you of its biggest flaw.
-
Aug 18, 2015Although the graphics look dated and the loss of the touch screen comes with some hiccups, it's still one hell of a ride for survival fans.
-
Sep 30, 2015Zombi is still capable of putting you in a state of tension and fear, and that's the greatest achievement for a game that suffers from mediocre graphics and poor combat mechanics.
-
Aug 31, 2015A solid game, with a few minor port issues, but at a budget price one you should be at least flirting with the idea of playing.
-
Aug 19, 2015With Zombi, Ubisoft tried to get the best results with almost no efforts. Despite being a good survival horror with nice gameplay elements and a proper horror vibe, the game lacks in all the features which made it interesting on the Wii U. It's still fun and entertaining, but you shouldn't have raised expectations.
-
Aug 18, 2015If you're a survival horror fan, and miss a time in gaming when a zombie bite was the scariest thing in the world, then you'll find a lot to suffer through here. In a good way.
-
Aug 27, 2015Zombi on XBox One is a port and is a clunk port but still has a few moments to shine on this next-gen console
-
Aug 18, 2015At the right price, Zombi is a worthy purchase for some. Unfortunately, some of its technical shortcomings and painfully repetitive sequences kill much of the enjoyment. Not to mention some of the clumsy combat and dated gameplay makes for an experience that is far more tedious than it needs to be.
-
Aug 27, 2015Spotty performance, a terribly boring aesthetic and a messy, cobbled together combat system amounts to something that had potential, but was beaten over the head with a cricket bat.
-
Aug 18, 2015Zombi is a flawed port, but its technical issues can be overlooked, and underneath the hiccups lays a solid game.
-
Aug 18, 2015Outside of the game-ending glitches and the poorly designed collection mission that we've mentioned, the experience is tension-filled and easily right up there with the best survival horror titles available today. The problem is that there's a very good chance that you'll give up after your umpteenth unfair death way before reaching the closing credits.
-
Sep 1, 2015When you take away the Wii U Gamepad gimmicks and the multiplayer mode, all you have in this version is a rather bland game that hasn't aged that well.
