    Both Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil may not be as advanced as they were upon release, but they still hold up remarkably well. They're both still enjoyable to play, and the excellent remaster treatment from Night Dive Studios helps bring them up to modern standards, while still maintaining their retro identity.

    I thoroughly enjoyed Turok Remastered and I had the same high hopes for the Turok 2: Seeds of Evil remaster, and thankfully it delivered. BackI thoroughly enjoyed Turok Remastered and I had the same high hopes for the Turok 2: Seeds of Evil remaster, and thankfully it delivered. Back in the day Turok 2 was my favourite game in the series and as far as the remasters go it’s probably my favourite remaster as well. In my opinion Turok 2 had the better gameplay and it still has the better gameplay in the remaster. They’ve done a great job of giving the gameplay a modern touch whilst also giving it that original feeling, and the best thing is that it’s fun and challenging at the same time. I will say though that the puzzles are still way too simplistic and I don’t think they add anything to the gameplay, which is a gripe I also had back when Turok 2 first came out. The level design in the game is without a doubt better in Turok 2 than it is in the original, and I believe the levels have aged well and will provide a great deal of fun to modern gamers. Unfortunately in terms of content the game doesn’t have a great deal for you to get to grips with and I think both remasters are a little overpriced. They do try to add a little bit of replayability though in the way of an online component, but unfortunately the online multiplayer is a bit hit and miss and it doesn’t have many players playing online, which is a shame. Whilst the content is limited I will say though that the content that is present is very good. The main reason why the content is so good is because Turok 2: Seeds of Evil has a great deal of variety in a number of different areas. My favourite thing that has a lot of variety is the enemies you face and without a doubt this keeps things fresh and interesting throughout. The weapons also have a lot variety going for them and killing enemies has never been so much fun, which is awesome. The presentation side of the game has seen a few improvements and I really enjoyed the little upgrades that were present. Without a doubt the area that’s seen the most improvements is the sound design and these improvements make the game even more immersive. At the end of the say I’ve really enjoyed both the Turok remasters and taking a trip down memory lane has never been more fun. For me this remaster just beats Turok Remastered and that’s mainly because I feel it’s aged a little better but I was very pleased with both of them and if you were a fan of the original game’s then I fully recommend you get both remasters.… Full Review »

    Tiene un agregado de checkpoints que no tenía el original y en mi caso particular no me agrado que quitaran los    Excelente remaster!

    Tiene un agregado de checkpoints que no tenía el original y en mi caso particular no me agrado que quitaran los portales de grabado para agregar la opción de grabar en cualquier punto del juego. Sin embargo eso no afecta en nada el juego en sí.
    Vale la pena para jugadores de la vieja escuela y de igual manera para las nuevas generaciones que quieran conocer este excelente juego.    … Full Review »
