Good, but more of the same from the first game. Runs smoothly and isn't plagued by the bugs of other loot shooters at launch. However, still clunky gameplay when trying to maneuver around obstacles. The story is also more of a continuation rather than something substantial.

I did not think i would like this game after the first one released so meh. It is fun to play solo and even more fun with a team or a friend. Definitely not a low scoring game by any stretch. People who give 0s should be deleted. Loot, gunplay, sound, atmosphere, its all better this time around.

El juego es increíble, mejora las mecánicas de la primera entrega, el nivel de detalle de los escenarios es asombroso, pero lo más importante es que esta lleno de contenido desde el día 1, es muy adictivo y muy recomendado para todo amante de los shoters

I thought the first The Division game was a breath of fresh air. It was a decent way to pass some time. Most of all, it had a really nice atmosphere. Walking through the desolate streets of a snowy NY really hit the mark with that post-apocalyptic feeling.

The Division 2 is another story completely though:
    - The mood of the first game is 100 percent gone. Washington DC in the middle of the summer just isn't the same thing.
    - The game is super laggy on X-Box One. If your game can't run 60 fps in 4K, it shouldn't have 4K at all
    - Aiming absolutely sucks compared to PC. Combined with the lagginess it makes the game barely playable. The small autoaim they've put in there is really random and stupid
    - Graphics look like garbage. They are detailed, but they look like last gen compared to a game like RE2.
    - Tried refunding but I've played barely more than 2 hours, and there is of course no way checking my in game play time.
    - There is barely any story at all compared to the first game. Super lazy for an AAA game. Where there was so much character and backstory in the first game that played in to the atmosphere, there is almost none here? Makes the game feel more like an expansion of the first one.

If you have to play this game, buy it for PC and play it on a good gaming rig.

Edit: Go in and look at the user profiles of the people who have posted positive reviews here. They have either no other reviews or only 10's for Ubisoft games. What a joke.

No 60fps mode on X1X, what a joke. This plays and feels like a sluggish nonresponsive last gen slideshow. No thanks..

The game feels unpolished and the progress is a pain . The enemys often are unfair and u will have many situations where the enemys will be unfair spawned or overpowered. Sometimes they will frustrate you because they are running and gunning and u cant hit them because the control is unprecisly. The graphics are also bugged with slow loading textures and objects plopping in front of you.The game feels unpolished and the progress is a pain . Sorry Ubisoft this games is the baddest game i have played since assains creed unity. Its unpolished, frustrating and buggy. There is a Story but its presented by very short cutscenes and short and short audio files, there are no NPCs or side Missions where u talk to people like in AC Odysee and the story itself is boring because its like u the hero save us all amen.Funfactor 2/5 Expand

Massive may have released the most stable and well-designed MMO ever; very few bugs so far, stable servers, and most importantly: it's shockingly fun to play.
The only negative is the lack of a good over-arching story (it's actively mediocre), but in return the "small" stories, in specific missions, are phenomenal.

The gun-play is superb, there's so much to do there's literally no grind until after the end-game (when grinding for loot to use in PVP is part of the fun), and all the small annoyances that something like Anthem is riddled with have just been dealt with. It's never going to soar the way Anthem does in its finest momentd, but at the moment it's a far superior game, and incredibly satisfying to play. I'd rate it a 10 if the story was better, but I predict I'll be playing this for months to come, maybe years.

The original Division was a games you either embraced or possibly looked by until you found a great sale. Initially it still had a few too many issues which many were resolved during the lifespan of the game or I grew to love over time. Despite the previous game I was still an optimist of The Division 2, and I was confident they corrected some of the problems the first game had early on. After completing the main content it became quite clear that they did just that and whilst it isn’t perfect I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my journey my only complaint is the glitch that exists for the rare weapons that can be obtained thru the glitch which I would expect should be corrected shortly. One of the biggest improvements I found this time around then was definitely the AI and controls because without a doubt these both feel more intelligent and realistic, and quite frankly I felt I was battling my best even early in the game while I got the feel for the new game. The gunplay does feel more realistic and smooth this time around, as well and whenever I took down an enemy opponents it felt rewarding and and very exciting. In terms of mission content the game has a lot for you to explore the activities you can do within this content to keep things fresh and interesting. The loot you get keeps things fun and interesting as well and this aspect will keep your interest peaked for a long while to come. Even though the presentation doesn’t feel improved over the predecessor along with the absence of an offline component again, I feel that the improvements have been made The Division 2 a better game overall and definitely a worth addition to your library, especially If your a fan of shooters. Well done UBISoft, hope to see your software continue to improve and bring us the long time classics we have enjoyed for years. Two Thumbs up! Expand

In the epic metacritic battles of 0's and 10's, this is a 10. Don't let the whiny, entitled snapchat children fool you out of having a great time. Even better if you have friends, (not assuming you do, wouldn't want to offend any snowflakes...)

This is a great. Missions are interesting. AI is good and enemies will try and flank you. Requires thought and strategy (cover in most paces is essential or you’ll be taken down quickly). Lots of quests and side missions. Being able to have a stat page to see load out and power is great. Smooth tranisitions from world to missions to cut scenes.

Div 1 vet. This is definitely a massive step up, especially in terms of quality at launch. Feels like Ubi really took their time and listened to what their consumers were saying. Furthermore, this is one of the least boring/repetitive looter shooters I've played yet, the gunplay is fun, the loot is diverse and plentiful, and the AI is actually a bit challenging. The game is an absolute blast. It's clear that the developers took everything they learned from the first game and crafted something that's highly engaging.
There's an enormous amount of replayability and so much content. I had high expectations for this game and somehow it's even better than I'd imagined. Highly recommended for fans of looter shooters :).

The Division 2 might be the most successful project of it's size in recent memory. The sheer amount of content and experiences available is astonishing. The core gameplay loop is significantly improved over The Division 1 and it's clear that Massive not only listened to the player base but took home meaningful lessons and has taken serious steps to understand what truly engages their player-base

This is a great game. Ubisoft made so many big and minor changes that make this game a joy to play. I like how agents can call for assist and you can join their session to help them out. Love the game. The Division 2 def. expands on what made the first Division great. I love the new setting and armor mechanics when fighting bosses. I love the specializations added into the game and the focus on end game content so that you continue playing once the story mode is over. I can't wait to see what happens in the future for this game.

The Division 2 may be making a mess on Tom Clancy's grave by betraying his highly conservative values, but what is here is a very competent and polished third-person open-world action game with a big emphasis on co-op. The value in this package is seemingly nigh on endless with the amount of things to do and see. Even the core gameplay loop, though simplistic, is satisfying enough to keep things stimulating, even when they feel monotonous at times. Just when things feel the most tedious, the end game content really mixes things up in a big way to reinvigorate the formula.

For what it’s worth, The Division 2 is a fine game. It’s finely tuned, looks gorgeous in 4K, plays like I would have hoped, and just takes a great idea and improves on it. Co-op is the way to go, and solo players will still have some fun with it, but it will be a more difficult romp. Massive has shown they listened to their fans and wanted to make a game that the players wanted to see and they did just that. It’s a great shooter, great RPG, and well worth the time for anyone looking for a rewarding adventure.

Not only is The Division 2 a solid gaming experience, but it's one that Ubisoft plans to continually support over time. We've already seen the beginning of that support, and there is no indication that it'll let up. Whether you are a solo player or someone ready to jump in with a squad of friends, The Division 2 is a game you don't want to miss.
