Really dull game. Just walk around a huge open world and shoot people with generic and unsatisfying gunplay. The game is also supposed to be one of these "looter shooters". A thing I find very overrated and boring in today's games, so that doesn't help this game for me either. The only games that make finding stuff actually fun are games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls. The only good thing about this game for me is the ability to skip cutscenes. I couldn't care less about the story in these modern games that try to depict an overly realistic storyline and are filled with forgettable and boring-looking characters. So at least the game lets you focus on the gameplay and forget about everything else. I just like my games with fun and unique gameplay...and badass storylines with iconic-looking characters. But I doubt you can expect that from mentally impaired developers who even seem to think that gender is simply a body type lol. Expand

The worst implementation I’ve seen in many many games, and I wonder why they even shipped the game with PVP existing in any form at all. Absolutely nothing is balanced and it all boils down to who can break something well enough for 1 **** cheese. Movement and controls are slow and janky, and don’t forget the bugs! Expand

I absolutely LOVE this game, the story is a little forgettable but you can talk with your friends about it and unite about how much you hate a villain and unite in game and take them down but if someone brings it up you will know what the are talking about. One of the worst games that i have played.

It is boring, generic, repetitive, the argument sucks, the open word sucks, everithing sucks in this game.
I dont understand why the critic gave an 82 to this horrible game...

A repeat of the first one, this game is basically fascist propaganda that forces the player to murder their fellow citizens.

I'm not sure when it occurred but theres a sense of resentment from the developers towards its player base. The game has been out for a year. They have changed the game too many times to count and players have had to restart their builds every couple of months. Its almost as if all the changes and complete overhauls to the game are a marketing ploy by the developers. The core game is enjoyable enough. The "cover" system and "loot" make the game very addictive. It seems the developers are aware of this and instead of adding to the game to make players happy they decid to completely reset the game every few months and make their player base start all over again. It really is like a cruel joke. Instead of creativity and finding solutions to the problems the developers give up and start from scratch along with their players punishing everyone. I could go on but the last thing I will say is the world is currently facing a health crisis. There is a pandemic currently and everyone has been told to stay home. You would assume that video games would be on many peoples list of things they are doing to pass time. Ubisoft and Massive BAN their players for using a glitch in their game. IF that isn't resentment towards your player base I'm not sure what is. Expand

Game developers treat players extremely unfairly and will ban players on any account. Do not buy any game product from massive or Ubisoft they handle any glitches with a straight slap in the face ban. Even if you matchmake with someone glitching or just play the game in general you most likely will get banned.

Players exploited glitches in PvP ad nauseam with zero repercussions. Recently, Massive took draconian action with bans and rollbacks for PvE play that were disproportionate and callous. In short, I'm fundamentally disappointed with Massive's inconsistency, disregard for players' time, and lack of accountability for game breaking bugs. I get it's wrong for people to use cheats but exploiting a bug that wasnt tested for I don't consider it the same especially when it's a PVE stance. Completely wrong for the pvp side though. Massive and Ubisoft decided it was best to ban 1.5 million players during a global quarantine. Softer bans with warnings would have done the job better. They rolled the banned players back 2 weeks and this included players that didn't even exploit. All you had to do was matchmake and boom. Behind this they changed their agreement terms right before hand and no one knew because no one had to acknowledge the new agreement. That's shady business. I get this is a raging mainly for Ubisoft and massive over the game but it's their fault they dragged this game into the ground and drastic measures must be taken for drastic measures. Expand

The Division 2 may be making a mess on Tom Clancy's grave by betraying his highly conservative values, but what is here is a very competent and polished third-person open-world action game with a big emphasis on co-op. The value in this package is seemingly nigh on endless with the amount of things to do and see. Even the core gameplay loop, though simplistic, is satisfying enough to keep things stimulating, even when they feel monotonous at times. Just when things feel the most tedious, the end game content really mixes things up in a big way to reinvigorate the formula.

For what it’s worth, The Division 2 is a fine game. It’s finely tuned, looks gorgeous in 4K, plays like I would have hoped, and just takes a great idea and improves on it. Co-op is the way to go, and solo players will still have some fun with it, but it will be a more difficult romp. Massive has shown they listened to their fans and wanted to make a game that the players wanted to see and they did just that. It’s a great shooter, great RPG, and well worth the time for anyone looking for a rewarding adventure.

Not only is The Division 2 a solid gaming experience, but it's one that Ubisoft plans to continually support over time. We've already seen the beginning of that support, and there is no indication that it'll let up. Whether you are a solo player or someone ready to jump in with a squad of friends, The Division 2 is a game you don't want to miss.
